It's not that the first two episodes are bad or anything, they are still great. However, they are mostly setup, meeting and establishing characters, world building, etc. Saying Arcane gets so much better is not an insult to the first two episodes, it's just that Arcane goes to 11. For me, Arcane started out as a really good show and ended up being a total obsession, and I'm not usually one to get obsessed over shows or movies. It is truly something special. Depending on how they wrap up the next (and final 😭) season, Arcane could be my favorite show ever.

It’s a blend of fantasy and steampunk where magic is a power source for the technology, also it generally has an aesthetic of 1920’s art deco with lots of intricate, blue and gold designs and clockwork technology powered by magical blue energy.
At the end when you were rocking slightly, unable to contain your excitement about the quality of this show as the credits roll was my exact experience of watching this episode. Something about that final song really cements it--this is gonna be something else.
