Okay, I am NOT a unicorn-loving type of girl but I must admit that the chubby white unicorn makes me laugh. Also loving the sad clown and jack o'lantern from the balloon glow. Fascinating how the bee couple works! I can't imagine how they work that out. Then again, I also can't imagine how the sky is filled with so many balloons all at the same time without incident. Haha!
I’ve never heard of this festival. It’s cool. The national anthem at sunrise was haunting! Loved the character balloons. I think my favourite was bees! So cool! Thanks for sharing 🍻

Thanks for watching! This is an amazing fiesta held in Albuquerque every year! The largest one in the world! I thought the crowds were crazy too, and attendance was down this year due to International travel restrictions!!
My 5-year-old and I are about to go to our first balloon fiesta, and planninng our visit from afar seems totally overwhelming. This video is super helpful in getting an idea what to expect. Thank you for putting that together!
It looks like this would be the day I would want to attend. The lower crowds made getting there in the morning easier. And all the special shapes are so cool. I am a little surprised some of them that are more intricate like the cow get off the ground. Seems like it would be difficult to distribute the hot air through the entire balloon. But they all look so cool. It I see like a parade in the air. I love the Balloon Glow and the fireworks too. Thanks for introducing us to this event!
One thing I have not done is attend an evening show. I can imagine the evening glow is awesome when all Ballons are glowing and they are all touching each other. Have a nice day.
It's been a long time for me since I've visited an evening event! So much easier to get the family out the door for! It's hard to be there so early in the morning!
This is one of the events that we would love to experience one day. Our friend The Mamuchos were there a couple of years ago and loved it. The balloons are truly impressive. So sad the storm troopers weren't there this year.
Would going there on a Thursday afternoon/evening work? Or you have to get there at open? 2022 is sold out for RV parking, but we could get a shuttle to get in? or a parking pass in advance?
You definitely can just attend the afternoon event. The city park and rides will be available for the evening event or you could drive in. I’m not sure if they sell parking passes in advance but you can pay cash when you arrive to park

@@SwiftyTravels totally! I booked the flights to arrive on Friday before the opening, and leave on the following Tuesday morning…. But I have 24hrs to change it if the closing weekend is better 😬😬😬I planned this trip as a birthday gift for my husband so I really hope everything works out 😂
@@835ep good luck! There is not enough difference to go through the trouble of rebooking in my opinion- just leave super early like 4:15 am for the event so you wont be stuck sitting in traffic. Enjoy!!!
