Oh you were so right! I love this video. Thank you again for showing the beauty of Abq! It's a hidden gem for sure! The food and culture are something else. Always love watching.
Also, appeared in Better Call Saul season 6, due to it sharing the name with Breaking Bad's movie El Camino and just being an overall great looking location.
I visited in 2005 and the Old Town looked just the same then. I had a great dinner at a restaurant called Garduno's. We also took the cable car around sunset. One of my favorite vacations.
Just arrived in Albuquerque from Houston, Texas (13 hour drive). Las Anitas was our first stop. We plan to visit each of your recommendations. Thank you for your reviews.
Nice video! We visited family out there in March 2022 and loved the food and the culture as well can hardly wait to go back! The plaza and Indian Pueblo Cultural Center both were amazing! Definitely recommend trying a Carne adovada stuffed sopapilla Christmas style from Sadie's next time you are in the area.

Aw yay, thanks for the Patreon shoutout!! ☺️ we stopped in ABQ on our road trip out west when we moved from MI to CA last year. It was a short visit but we loved it there!
I had no idea that buffets are at this level now. Thank you for showing the price and some of the typical stations at the buffet. You and Martín always have so much to share. Thanks too, for the heads-up about joining the Rewards Club. That's a great idea! Abrazos!
Omg I just love your travel videos! I have always wanted to make travel vids like this I hope one day I have the ability to! For now I’ll live vicariously through you! 🤩
WE love living in ABQ, NM 87107. Been here 1 years plus . so awesome, so much to do . Winter is so easy LOL , Love Mother Bosque Garden. Old town is 350 years old .
What did you think of the food? I like when you used to put your start rating for everything 🙏🏼 it’s really helpful and what made me originally start following you.
Honestly, yes!! I found it so charming, full of foods I hadn't seen before, and I could tell the locals have a lot of pride for their state. Such a great experience.
Good video. I'm from the UK and have just booked up to do route 66 in July with a 1 day stop in Albuquerque. The mountain tram at sunset looks a must do.
There aren’t any actually called Los Pollos Hermanos, but the filming was done in a Twisters restaurant on Isleta SW. Twisters is a local chain, get yourself a carne adovada twister burrito
I want to move there but the city is so far from another big city. I live in Seattle and love trips to Vancouver BC. I can't seem to give that up Otherwise I am down there for sure.
That's the one thing about Albuquerque: it's not ideal if you like to travel or see concerts/sports. Seattle is stunning, and the convenience for international travel and the amount of events that happen there would definitely influence us to stay as well.
it might be worth mentioning that New Mexico (and Albuquerque) were once totally free from European colonialists, and that is was part of New Spain and then Mexico. So enchiladas didn't really migrate north,
Diamondbacks are used in movies a lot because they are the largest venomous snake in North America. They are not the most venomous. Diamondbacks are not more aggressive than any other rattlesnake.
Albuquerque is one place that I love but hate. Its a lovable place, very lovable, but then it has a way of shooting you in the foot. Biggest thing is the lack of urgency and motivation in the populace. Its a great place for older people and professionals. Its not so great for young people and working class.
Hi, New Mexican here and I just wanted to say this: If you are ever going to New Mexico, please know some basic Spanish phrases. While New Mexico is not apart of Mexico or in Mexico, New Mexico is full of people that speak Spanish. A lot of people speak English here, but some people speak Spanish. So please learn some basic phrases before visiting :]
LIttle Anitas ?????? OMG !!!! with all the Real places to go to .. Like El Modelo, Barelas... I i have no idea why someone is telling visitors to go to Little a=Annitias. They must be new to the state as well.. Oh oHl.. if you ever come out this way again.. give me call.. I will take you around to the locals places..mm
Don't be fooled. This place is a dump. High crime, terrible schools, unusable public parks mediocre food, etc The outdoor stuff is nice, once you get outside the city. But aside from that it's not that great.
can everyone shut the hell up about how albuquerque sucks and breaking bad? seriously. albuquerque is cool, it's up and coming. yeah, you know what? it's a dump, but it's a cool dump. great food, friendly people, historic stuff, and a mix of cultures. i love this place, stop judging it.
Video representing ABQ is mediocre. Little Anitas and Blakes are NOT worthy. There are better!!!! Especially Blakes. They sold several years ago. Not the same. Select "Christmas" instead of Red or Green! Barelas is worthy of a try. Tram is overpriced. Do a hike instead.
I also heard that Albuquerque has good chemistry teachers
Certified auuuugh moment.

Try the El Camino Dining Room on North 4th Street. Family owned and fantastic food.
Thanks for the recommendation! We appreciate it!

You should try El Pollos Hermanos
