We were in the President’s Compound; $250/night and worth every penny. Fifty amp electric, water, and coupons for black and gray tank pump outs every three days. Because we were on a bluff overlooking the launch area, the view was spectacular, and we were above the crowd who were at ground level. This was our first AIBF, but it will not be our last.

Thanks for sharing. There is a balloon festival near me during the Pro Football Hall of Fame festival each year. Nowhere near as many balloons as Albuquerque but still enjoyable.
Now that was nice ! I enjoyed watching so much. Its amazing how many different designs of balloons that have. Mark did you think that you might get wet coming down near that river/ stream of water ? Can you tell at 2k feet if it get harder to breath ? I have got to go on one of these rides ! Thank you so much for letting me watch . This was so cool. Thanks a lot !
I would think for many events, you just need a valid Instragram or RUclips link. The bar is quite low I believe. Getting into the Tampa RV Super Show seems easy!

Wow! Can’t believe someone would still a hot air balloon! But glad they tracked the iPad that was in the basket and they found it.
And to think that the balloon they stole was a custom designed one for a special needs pilot!

Glad you were able to get in the media tent and able to get breakfast. That’s if the festival to do that.
The media tent was a godsend! We didn't have to wait in line for coffee!

You will love it. Try to plan for the whole week so if the weather cancels some of the event, you can experience it on one of the another event days.

At the heights we were at, you did not notice any change in breathing. We were not worried about getting wet,.....the pilot was that good!
