He really is good. He plays the role so well and you can tell he's kinda conflicted. Scenes like this show that he is willing to treat the innies like actual people dancing with them and having fun. We’re they holding on to him in support or to make sure Dylan’s didnt storm him again? After all, Milchick didn’t do anything wrong until Dylan told them after he left. Just a thought!
"Yeah? You wanna go see her together?! 😠" Dylan was the last one I expected to violently snap first, then he follows it up with this killer line; truly became a man who gave zero fucks, what a champ.
This whole show actually gives me that vibe. A bunch of poor souls trapped in a place that resembles something closer to hell than reality. And the surroundings laugh at their buried, desperate desires to escape.
from an interview with Tramell Tillman, Milchick’s actor: Who had the best dance moves? Outside of you, of course. The dance move that almost broke me was when I was dancing with Adam Scott because he has this little childlike march that he does. It is so, so funny, and so adorable. Every time we would go up together and we'd do this battle, I almost broke character because he has this face of childlike exuberance that comes over him, and he's marching. So full of joy. It was absolutely delightful.
@@zarkflappysheepIt is way better than Black Mirror. Black Mirror is an anthology series where we never get to connect with the characters. They're gone the next episode. The reason I compare it to BM is because BM always focuses around a piece of technology just as Severance does. The scary thing this isn't even that far off from reality.
I didn't know the actor playing Milchick before, Tramell Tillman, but he killed this scene and his performance overall. Same goes for Britt Lower as Helly whom I've never seen before I think. It's also both off-putting and at the same time kinda sorta charming how much effort and vigour Milchick puts into this act. It's such a cheap manipulation strategy - a totally dishonest pretense of fun and good vibes when in fact the entire team and their trust in the organisation is falling apart. Absolutely all the actors in this series are incredible, their faces, their expressions of irony (and others), everything!
Even Natalie and her wide-eyes looking down on Ms. Cobel. This show keeps getting better and better with each rewatch.
Everything about this scene is perfect: the use of color, the blocking, editing, the character dancing choices, the slightly erratic music. So good 👏🏻
I would bet good money this was one of the audition scenes for the actors to play Milchick.
