Clanging Scales isn’t really a midground. With how weak even +2 Kommo o can be with a bulky Annihilape and Friend Guard from Maushold reducing the damage, I could easily still go down to Final Gambit alongside failing to knock out Maus which would be awful. If I somehow had a chance to live cc with the defense boost would also not exist with the defense drop so way more lose scenarios with going for clanging than taking my knock out with Aura Sphere.
