Gosh this is so sad yet beautiful at the same time! I really really adore Cooper so damn much I cried like kid watching him wrecked and gone mad. Can you imagine, a perfect man like him turns bad after the love of his life betrayed him, he slept with women to hide his emotional heartbreak. He is a family man, a workaholic man, a husban material, he tried and tried to save his marriage, and I'm sad Billie did what she did just because of her lust and desire. Marriage is not just about sex, but a settle life. In season 2 I'm hoping Billie and Cooper get a better marriage, turns out the It stressed me out because there is another man and it's not Brad.. Anyway, Im good with Brad+Billie ending, in this season I could see their chemistry and love for each other, and not only about sex.. another heartbreak part is when Cooper asked her after all of these "Are you happy?" oh man!
If she wasn’t happy then should’ve gone about it a different way then hurting everyone. I’m glad it worked out how it was supposed too in end but I loved Cooper!
Cooper wasn't perfect but he was unselfish and willing to change for the sake of the marriage. Billie doesn't want to fix coopers bedroom skills or work on marriage, she wants brad to leave her walking funny.
Personally, I think Cooper and billie should’ve put everything to rest and finish when Cooper was invading billies journal. Cooper should’ve got with Francesca and Billie should’ve been with Brad. You can tel from the pain in her eyes she still loved Brad when she see’s her best friend after Brad and her slept together. Clearly, billie got too in over her head because she jumped into her marriage without getting closure with Brad. If she did maybe she would’ve been better at moving on. I also think she should’nt have pushed Brad so far into seeing his dad, clearly knowing the pain in his eyes when the topic is brought up. In the end it would’ve been better for Cooper and billie to come to an agreement on divorcing and still loving each other but not IN love anymore. Billie should’ve then apologised to Brad about being angry with him over the miscarriage and Brad should’ve also apologised for not expressing his feelings. They should’ve worked it out together after some time to come to the realisation of loosing their baby. Cooper should’ve then got with Francesca because clearly him and billie are just not in love anymore and Francesca respects him enough to look past the grievances with billie.
Cooper ‘May’ have overstepped by reading her journal. But that certainly isn’t something to separate over. What should’ve ended it, is the things she wrote about Brad.
Billie should have separated and Billie and coop go to counseling. Billie could have then seen brad and coop and let them "fight" for her.... too late for that though, coop told brad he's out, he can have her. So what does that leave for season 2?
Cooper isn't perfect, in the book, he's very tight lipped about his emotions and we find he has erectile disfunction but Billie is a psychologist who's more than able to coerce him into overcoming his issues. We see none of that in this series... Billie spends all her time getting Brad back into her life.
