The Man of Steel possessed many extraordinary gifts, and he shared them with us freely. None of these gifts were more remarkable than his ability to discern what needed to be done, and his unfailing courage in doing it, whatever the personal cost. Let us all strive to accept his gift and pass it along as an ongoing tribute to Kal-El of Krypton, the immigrant from the stars who taught us all how to be heroes."
@bryanmahoney3434 they said they were gonna do season 9 of arrow with Oliver doing a cameo but then james Gunn took over so now I guess no arrow season 9 and no super twins. James Gunn doesn't know what he's doing
Feels weird seeing Superman die of old age on screen. Like yeah in the comics even with his normal heart it could happen. Still feels weird seeing it shown. This was a pretty wholesome way for Clark to go out not by some epic battle with Doomsday but by knowing he did all he could as a person and raised 2 good kids and touched so many lives. That’s a death worthy of a hero like Superman. Yes I know in the show he did still get a first death that is more in line with how he has died in the comics before.
Agreed. It also fits. Clark was that kind of person. And Lex my not have been in life, but I HAVE to believe that dying (and the change of perspective and drive involved) can bring about a change in people (most, if not all). Call me a "Greater Fool"; I have hope.
@@PatrickBurgoon That was a doppelganger, this is the not the same version of Superman that appeared in the Arrowverse shows. They confirmed that in the season 2 finale that the Superman & Lois series is set in another alternate universe from the Arrowverse's Earth-Prime.
What an ending. Tyler, I would say is now officially the best tv series portrayal of Superman ever. He was fantastic. Bitsie was an absolutely beautiful Lois Lane. The CW really outdid themselves with this. It's fitting that the Superhero universe on the CW began with Smallville and ended with Superman and Lois.
@@leemax9581 Fully agreed. I always used to put Superman portrayals as great but just below Christopher Reeve. This is the first one to surpass him imo
This was… very well done I will not lie. As someone who wasn’t the biggest fan of this series I will admit that they bookended this perfectly. They completely understood the story they were trying to tell and it’s wonderfully well made all things considered. I’m a big fan of the finale. I’m thankful that they didn’t compromise. What an ending. From smallville to this. A childhood to a peaceful end. It took a winding road to get here. But what a journey it was.
Superman’s biological parents would’ve been so proud. He finally accomplished what he was born to do, and now can rest easy. I’m gonna miss this show, a lot 💔
I've been a Superman fan my entire life, and the moment he sat up again took my breath away. This show has become my favorite iteration of the Superman and Lois saga. Tyler Hoechlin IS Superman, and Bitsie Tulloch is a better Lois Lane than I could have ever imagined she'd be. Kudos all around. Fantastic ending to a very well-executed show.
I cannot think of a better ending to a superhero series it was heartbreaking and beautiful😭 thank you so much tyler and bitsie and the rest of the cast for bringing such a genuine interpretation to superman & lois💙❤.
this is not only an end for the series but it is also the end of an era for the CW's DC shows. How poetic it started with superman and ends with superman.
So sad to see this series end but omg what a wonderful ending. Very very well done. I'll definitely miss this show. Congratulations to all on an outstanding series.
I was not expecting that at 01:29. Showing Superman forgive Lex Luthor is such a powerful image. He can see that Lex is suffering thinking of all the pain he’s caused. A perfect conclusion.
I learned that lesson a while back, thinking about the people who wished they had said so without needing a reason to beyond just simply loving them. So, I tell my parents, my brothers, my sister, and my grandparents that I love them while I still have my health and a long life ahead of me. No regrets.
I mean, it does suit him. Lois, the intrepid and bold reporter, while Clark is the humble farm boy. And yes, when the door opened and she had on the outfit, I also remembered MJ's line, "Face it, tiger, you hit the jackpot," and he did. He passed away to be with his one and only love. 😊
The Dctv Started With a superman show and ended with one. Thank you for all the good memories i haven't cried at a series finale in a long time but i couldn't hold back for this i will miss this show alot.

I just watched the Christopher reeves documentary and coming back to this ending now, I can’t help but think of Christopher reeves and his wife Dana. “The first time I died.” And “the second time I died” parallels Christopher reeves accident and his passing. Lois dying of cancer, also parallels Dana’s passing to cancer. having them reunite in the afterlife is how imagine they did as well 🤧 this scene will just emotionally hit so different now! Rip Christopher and Dana reeves!
It has never been shown in any film or other series, the true embodiment of Superman's kindness and humanity as portrayed in this series, this series showed how human and loving Superman is, and what makes him a hero beyond his powers, is his kind heart and his resilience, the burden of having to be Superman, countless challenges this series showed, but it ended in an exciting way and closed an excellent arc and story never told of our beloved Superman, and Tyler's impeccable performance, only tears and lots of applause remain, and is missed the reunion with his parents, a speech about how proud they are of him
I would have thought it impossible, what with the reprehensible things Luthor had done, but seeing Michael Cudlitz in this scene, actually made me feel sorry for him. What an amazing actor he is, to make you feel the pain of this evil person. When Clark stands up after comforting him, then turns around, and Luther is gone, it really brought tears to my eyes.
A beautiful end to a wonderful show, so sad yet so sweet, thank you Tyler, Bitsie and everyone who made Superman & Lois one of the greatest shows ever ❤
I'm glad we got this. It sucks there were no ties to the Arrowverse in S&L, would've been cool to see Oliver welcome Clark to the afterlife or the heros of Earth-Prime help with the fight against Lex, but I like this better. The focus wasn't split across multiple heros and was kept to the Protagonist.
I have never loved a show the wai i loved this one. Clark was potrayed as one of the best superheroes of all time. Thank you Tyler, bitsie, todd helbing and all the others. the tears i cried were worth it.
This show was able to showcase “entering the afterlife” better than I could ever explain, but this is how I hope entering our next life will be… where everyone in our/your life is the age of how we remember them most… where we were our most happiest. God, I’m gonna miss Superman & Lois so much. I’m angry & saddened it’s gone, but I’m so blessed and grateful we had it for as long as we did.

THANK YOU DC SHOWS AT THE WB / THE CW (2001-2024)
Gonna miss them all
Thank you to all these shows!
One of the greatest runs in television history. God I really miss Arrow especially but I do miss them all.
@bryanmahoney3434 they said they were gonna do season 9 of arrow with Oliver doing a cameo but then james Gunn took over so now I guess no arrow season 9 and no super twins. James Gunn doesn't know what he's doing
@@bryanmahoney3434 I miss Arrow too, that was a huge part of my life back then.
To see Clark forgive Lex, that was deep and beautiful 🥺
Agreed. It also fits. Clark was that kind of person. And Lex my not have been in life, but I HAVE to believe that dying (and the change of perspective and drive involved) can bring about a change in people (most, if not all). Call me a "Greater Fool"; I have hope.
I didn't expect Lex to even have a part here, but this is my favourite. Michael Cudlitz delivers his pain and remorse so well.
What a beautiful ending… not only to Superman & Lois, but the Arrowverse.(2012-2024)
Unfortunately the Superman & Lois series is not canon in the Arrowverse which is Earth-Prime. The Arrowverse ending with The Flash season 9.
@@PatrickBurgoon That was a doppelganger, this is the not the same version of Superman that appeared in the Arrowverse shows. They confirmed that in the season 2 finale that the Superman & Lois series is set in another alternate universe from the Arrowverse's Earth-Prime.
I Just Hope Gunn's Superman will be more like this.
These Is The Definition of a Real Embodiment of Hope.
The True Superman we wanted to see
What an ending.
Not just the best tv series portrayal, but I would dare say, the best and most accurate live action portrayal of Superman ever.
They did what Zack tried to do with Cavill, Tyler's superman was showing how lonely he truly was until he had his family
Superman’s biological parents would’ve been so proud. He finally accomplished what he was born to do, and now can rest easy. I’m gonna miss this show, a lot 💔
His real parents would be even more proud
Michael Cudlitz did a great job, especially here. So reconciling. I wasn't prepared for this. ❤😢👍🏼
One of the best series i have watched ❤❤❤
this is not only an end for the series but it is also the end of an era for the CW's DC shows. How poetic it started with superman and ends with superman.
This was all just beautiful, there's no other way to describe it
It started with Smallville, and it ends with Superman and Lois.
Something I’ve come to learn is that everything and everyone eventually ends.
So make sure that you tell the people you love, that you love them
I learned that lesson a while back, thinking about the people who wished they had said so without needing a reason to beyond just simply loving them. So, I tell my parents, my brothers, my sister, and my grandparents that I love them while I still have my health and a long life ahead of me. No regrets.
"Yo Clark, I wore this banging dress to the afterlife for you and you just wore your regular old flannel shirt?"
Lois - probably
Also parodying MJ (Peter's real Lois)'s intro, thanks, webheads from The Competition
@@strider117aldo9this dude fucking gets it
I mean, it does suit him. Lois, the intrepid and bold reporter, while Clark is the humble farm boy. And yes, when the door opened and she had on the outfit, I also remembered MJ's line, "Face it, tiger, you hit the jackpot," and he did. He passed away to be with his one and only love. 😊
Ok but if you watched season 3, that dress has profound meaning to both Clark and Lois
"...banging" - Lois Lane, Daily Planet reporter
I'm not ready to say goodbye to this series, damn it, I can't stop crying, the best series, the best couple of Superman and Lois 😢😢
Now this is Superman. This is the best thing ever. I love it and I will miss it. ❤️💙❤️💙
The Dctv Started With a superman show and ended with one. Thank you for all the good memories i haven't cried at a series finale in a long time but i couldn't hold back for this i will miss this show alot.
How I wish all of humanity would understand there is so much that binds us vs. that separates us.
Such an amazing ending. This is what happens of our lives moving on like Clark does. I would feel more grown up like Jonathan and Jordan, and so will be my older brother.
Awesome show and the way it ended was emotional. Never loose hope.
1:46 despite everything Lex has done even heat in the end regrets what he has done, and even he can receive redemption
Seriously. I was totally surprised Lex got a moment here, but it's my favourite one. Perfect. ❤😢👍🏼
A man like Lex cannot change until he’s got nothing left that drives him.
This show is a love letter to all Superman fans. The acting in the show and writing was remarkable and this is an amazing conclusion. Thank you to everyone who worked on this show.
And thank you Tyler you are my Superman and i hope your journey as the hero will be remembered forever. ❤❤
This ending will make any grown man even the toughest choke up
I'm not crying 😭, someone is just cutting too many dam onions!
Kal-El or Clark Kent aka Superman got to live a life he never expected him to get. Friends and family to love. He died a happy and satisfied man. Thank you Superman. 😌
He's wearing the same plaid shirt from Episode 1 of Superman and Lois when he revealed his powers to this sons
And Lois' red dress is from the Season 3 premiere... I think
a true Hero is not measured by the strength of his deeds... but by the strength.... of his heart.😢😢😢
@@claytonbermea7938 Hercules yea?
@jhammond1978 Maybe this is exactly what Zeus was talking about. 😊😊😊
I was emotionally invested in series, really loved it. Gonna miss it so much😢
Thank you to all who were invllved with this show
So grateful we were provided a Season 4. Four seasons that gave us the best of each character and a humanity we could relate to. To all those involved, thanks again!!
Damn that finale made cry 😢
It pulled every heartstring from within.
I wouldn’t think such a beautiful perfect ending of a Superman show like this.
Tyler really outdid himself in this and cemented himself as the best Superman we have up to date.
This honestly got me emotional. One of the best superhero endings ever
This is one of the most accurate Superman writing. Not just by strength but by heart.
Best Superman Adaptation. Best Superman Show ever. I will miss Superman and Lois. Tyler, Bitsie and the rest did a great job. Great finale showing every characters we love, even sam tribute.
1:18 That's a lot of kids to bring to the Fortress make some check ups 😂
asi es como se debe hacer a superman, he sido fan de este heroe desde que tengo tres años de edad, no tengo palabras para esto, han dejado la bara muy alta para los proximos proyectos que tengan que ver con el hombre de acero
When he says "family" it should be his parents
I just watched the Christopher reeves documentary and coming back to this ending now, I can’t help but think of Christopher reeves and his wife Dana. “The first time I died.” And “the second time I died” parallels Christopher reeves accident and his passing. Lois dying of cancer, also parallels Dana’s passing to cancer. having them reunite in the afterlife is how imagine they did as well 🤧 this scene will just emotionally hit so different now! Rip Christopher and Dana reeves!
It has never been shown in any film or other series, the true embodiment of Superman's kindness and humanity as portrayed in this series, this series showed how human and loving Superman is, and what makes him a hero beyond his powers, is his kind heart and his resilience, the burden of having to be Superman, countless challenges this series showed, but it ended in an exciting way and closed an excellent arc and story never told of our beloved Superman, and Tyler's impeccable performance, only tears and lots of applause remain, and is missed the reunion with his parents, a speech about how proud they are of him
OMG so sad yet beautifully done, tears are streaming, I'm going to miss them all. RIP Clark and of course Lois
He so happens he have everything he so peaceful and friendly
He journey is not the end , is a new beginning ✨️
I would have thought it impossible, what with the reprehensible things Luthor had done, but seeing Michael Cudlitz in this scene, actually made me feel sorry for him. What an amazing actor he is, to make you feel the pain of this evil person. When Clark stands up after comforting him, then turns around, and Luther is gone, it really brought tears to my eyes.
A beautiful end to a wonderful show, so sad yet so sweet, thank you Tyler, Bitsie and everyone who made Superman & Lois one of the greatest shows ever ❤
Supes really comforting lex in the afterlife 😢
Lex probably died in prison but atleast he got his soul saved
Just saw an old clip and the dress Lois was wearing in the final scene was actually the first dress Clark had bought for Lois.
Yes and the shirt Clark is wearing is the same shirt which he had worn in the Pilot episode when he reveals he is Superman to his sons.
Even Clark's final words are full of optimism. Incredible. Siegel and Shuster are no doubt proud.
My grandmother passed away today. I hope she's at peace the way this is displayed
Sorry. A very pleasant thought. 😢❤👍🏼
He was raised as a human he died as one 😊.
Yep cos he got the human heart. If he was Kryptonian he could live forever
I've seen this video so many times, I've lost all my tears.
With a touching moral lesson of all that True love last forever
This is one of the best Superman stories ever told
