Turning Krypto into a support dog for an elderly Superman is a pretty genius move as support pets are pretty much real life superheroes, they help people who are in need of support, almost an equivalent to young Superman.
So, Superman lived his last days, old, being a "regular" human, dying peacefully surrounded by people who loved him, thanks for that CW that was beautiful.

@ I highly recommend watching it because it’s a very good show, but if you want to know He didn’t really become “fully human” he still had his powers. Doomsday killed Superman and ripped out his heart. General Lane, Lois’s father, gave his heart in order to revive Clark. Clark came back to life and beat Lex and Doomsday. Years later, once he grew old and after Lois passes away, he retired and left the world’s safety to his sons.
When Lois's last word was "Daddy?" because it's the last thing Sam told her after he mentioned that he would always be with her for giving her heart to Clark... I just cried.
Lost my mom in 2011. In the final days she was gently calling out names of family who’d passed before her. My sister heard her say the name of her oldest brother who’d died in the 1950s. You know this epilogue makes you realize this ending will apply to every other Superman throughout the Multiverse. They’ll live happily ever after and eventually grow old and die. Example: Tom Welling we saw him going through a similar ending.
The series brought us the most sincere examination of Clark Kent's heart and soul. Kal-El lost his Kryptonian family. His mother and father. He even had to fight of his own half-brother. Clark is desperate for belonging, for companionship, for a purpose beyond his extraordinary powers. The same powers that make him Superman also separated him from the humanity that he has grown to love through his connections with Jimmy Olsen, Lois, Lana and most importantly, Martha and Jonathan Kent. The town of Smallville represented for Clark a refuge from his Superman persona, where he can be one among those whom he protected so self-sacrificially with his incredible powers. Superman's greatest powers are his unbelievable humility, unending compassion, and exceptional ability to forgive and persistently seek to redeem others from the fate of their worst mistakes. Given his incredible strength, he has had to exercise on a constant basis so much restraint, so much attention and awareness of himself and how he interacts with others. He has to control his breathing, his gestures, his vision, his hearing not to mention his fear (if he feels any), anger, impatience, irritation, frustration, anxiety, despair etc. etc. Because of that, he's "super" aware of how easily people fall prey to their emotions and for this reason he is able to forgive their mistakes even when they're deliberate. This show gave us a version of Superman that got to hang up his cloak and just a regular guy, who could hang out with friends, walk this dog, take his kids to school, dance with his wife at wedding hosted in his barn. Superman got his wish, he got a chance to join the human race, to belong as one among us, perhaps the very best of one among us. A very touching and informative version of Superman.

The ending resonated so much for so many because it brought us all just a little closer to our own mortality and the eventual passings of the ones we love. Clark's sense of loss during those years after Lois died must've been so profound -- no dog or grandkids could ever fill the void that she left behind. Personally, I hate loss and change. I spend more time mourning things I will never have again instead of appreciating the wonderful things I do have. It's a constant struggle. So, yes, this ending, poignant and effective as it was, left me an emotional mess. 😭

You know they used their super hearing to listen to Lois’s heartbeat one last time. 😢
guys this is the end of the entire CW superverse. its kind of crazy to imagine
This show, man… this show… 😢
I don’t think that Superman has ever felt so… human.
For anyone 45 years and older, with a loved one, this hits way harder than the younger ones can possibly imagine. You can understand, but you don’t KNOW how it feels
Real life is tough enough, I need happy endings in the stuff I escape to.
He ended up living a damn good life
My Goat Superman never dies 😔😔😔
The ending resonated so much for so many because it brought us all just a little closer to our own mortality and the eventual passings of the ones we love. Clark's sense of loss during those years after Lois died must've been so profound -- no dog or grandkids could ever fill the void that she left behind. Personally, I hate loss and change. I spend more time mourning things I will never have again instead of appreciating the wonderful things I do have. It's a constant struggle. So, yes, this ending, poignant and effective as it was, left me an emotional mess. 😭
Ni siquiera he visto la serie pero ver estos pocos minutos ya me sacaron unas lágrimas
Kryto being a regular dog, but at the same time, saving Superman, and helping Clark live the end of his life with some joy, is just proof that every dog is super, and too kind for this world.
I really miss Lois, guys. She was strong, loving, kind, strict n wise wife to Clark, boys, her father n everyone who met her.😢😊.
You know this scene was so hard for david to film
David?
@ yeah lois’s real life husband who plays older Jonathan
@@red-ranger-yoh, that's a neat detail I didn't notice
What an ending! Idk how James Gunn is gonna top this. This was just the best conclusion for the man of steel.
THIS MAN IS SUPERMAN. DEFINITIVE. THIS MAN NEEDS TO HAVE A CAMEO IN EVERY SUPERMAN MOVIE EVER
i honestly think this is the best iteration of superman and james gunns version will never be up to par with this, it was perfect the whole way through
1:57 that part kicked a lil🥲 seeing how far his powers faded where he couldn’t even hear Jordan or John coming til he touched him, while mourning Lois😭 but that’s why this shows great, shows all the sad and real details
Ima Miss That Show So Damn Much
Thank you CW and the entire cast for this masterpiece. It was such a beautiful ride.
The Arrowverse has officially ended, Its been a hell of a ride, Thank you!
The arrowverse been ended. It ended with The Flash. This show isn’t part of it
@@Rebound703 No it isn’t. Even if you search it up it’ll tell you that it isn’t part of the arrowverse. People assumed that it was when season 1 was released. When it was announced it was considered part of the arrowverse but that all changed when it was released.
@tayc9542 Maybe so but people say it because he was in the cross-overs.
@ I mean same actor but different versions. The same Lois and Superman we saw in the arrowverse aren’t the same versions we see in this show. Do both versions of the characters have 2 kids? Yes, but they are different versions
@@tayc9542 why Sarah and Jordan didnt end up marry and Jordan end up maried soemone else ?.
Made me tear up. Superman will always be the greatest and the most iconic superhero. Kinda wish they'd have ended with him still being Superman.
Amazing show. One of the best shows I've ever watched
"Everything good in my life came from you."
Ma and Pa Kent "The F*&k were we then Clark?!"
This is so poetic, I'm so happy I get to meet Lois and Clark at FanExpo next month. Probably gonna get a teary-eyed 😊
How is it that they bring up one of the hardest things we humans have to do ... live on after our mate dies? I'm living that life... alone with my two cats after 44 yrs with my beloved husband. It isn't easy.
Really sorry for your loss.
This show was absolutely amazing, I teared up during this last episode, thank you for a wonderful series of Superman, the best 😥
Amazing show. Did not deserve to be cancelled because of gunns universe. Far and away the best Clark/superman we got but also the best Lois lane we’ve ever had. This show just understood what superman is suppose to stand for and I wish people could look past the fact CW is connected with the show cause they’re missing out
Hope incarnate 💯 8 years ( 2016-2024)
The Best ever superhero show.
No that was the flash but this was great still
First episode made me shed some tears. Last episode had me ballin like a baby
