RTÉ Two Way Street visited Ballymote, Co. Sligo on Wednesday May 25th to celebrate the local community with a half-day of music, events, discussions, entertainment and debate. This was part of a new pilot initiative created by the RTÉ Audience Coucil.

What is the Audience Council?
The RTÉ Audience Council is a group of 15 volunteers from across the country who works with the RTÉ Board to engage with and understand the diverse needs of RTÉ’s audience. RTÉ’s Two Way Street is the first public initiative of the latest council. The initiative has been developed to connect RTÉ with communities and to hear what they have to say.
