Dude, your breakdowns of all this Sitka Gear has been outstanding. It’s really helped me silo the understanding of all themed options in these lines. Great example is explaining that the Equinox hoody is basically a gradient hoody in Elevated II. That’s the type of info I needed that Sitka doesn’t provide on the website. You rock!!
I got the Fanatic Lite Jacket, Lite bibs, Fanatic hoodie, lightweight base layers and lightweight beanie on a comb deal for $700 through EBay last winter. I hunt in NW Pennsylvania and only use the Fanatic System for gun season, as I tend to do all day sits. My set-up for these sits is Under Armour base layers (probably considered a "mid weight"), a polar fleece pant, the Fanatic Hoodie, and the Fanatic Lite Jacket/Bibs. This is in a temp range of low 20s in the AM to a high of 40 degrees by mid afternoon, and I have yet to get cold by any means. I'm also not a very big guy to begin with (5 foot 6, 140 pounds and skinny as a rail) so I don't exactly have a lot of extra "insulation" to work with. I personally feel, for what its worth, that the weight of the Lite version is more than adequate for these temp ranges. If you layer correctly underneath and realize that because of the Lite version you will not be boiling warm underneath, it is absolutely a capable system to keep you comfortable and able to tolerate these temperatures. The shoulders are well articulated to get your gun up, and the Lite version does not make your chest as bulky so that you can shoulder your gun comfortably. The pants are also well designed for minimal bulk yet adequate warmth and have a great pocket layout for a blind/treeestand seated position. If you are hunting colder temps than this, by all means get the full Fanatic version or even the Incinerator (better to be safe than sorry). If you can tolerate a little more chill than the next guy and want to save a little bit of money, than I personally think this is a great option. Just my two cents.
Why would you want a fanatic pant? I strictly wear my fanatic bibs in cold weather. 20° or below. At that point why wouldn’t you want a bib with more protection around your chest and back? There’s not too many people that would buy that pant. Stratus is a different story because it’s a midseason set. But they still sell more stratus bibs than pants

Is the incinerator and Fanatic the same thing ? I have the Fanatic set. Is that good for late season whitetail hunting in PA. I have purchase the fun Fanatic set is that the second warmest hunting gear set by Sitka ? And hade recently purchased the Fanatic Glove as well would you recommend those for late season ? And the whole Fanatic kit for late season ?
I strictly wear Sitka clothing for Whitetail hunting these days. And although it is expensive it is awesome gear. I feel that most of our stuff is over priced by $50 but don’t forget W. Gore Get a % cut of every piece of clothing they sell Due to their camo and wind stopper and Gore-Tex technology. Anything with the Gore-Tex name and it has royalties that go back to W Gorge. Add their camo in and they get even more of a percentage It will not stop me from buying it. I’m not going to let a few hundred dollars make or break me. I want what I want
