Was *amazed & delighted* to find out the CC (upon learning to maximize output through the transmission) is faster than a 300 v8 Hemi. The handling of the CC is clearly superior by any measure plus a 10 kilometers per liter better petrol efficiency. , More fun to boot. This automobile is *incredible.*
I love my CC. I have the 3.6 4motion it deff has the power and is a sleeper. I will be upgrade my intake and exhaust soon. And a few more upgrades. The AWD system keeps the power to the road I don't spin what so ever. I'm smoking gt stangs, challengers. By time they quit spinning I'm hitting 80 in like 3.9 seconds. Will be taking it to the strip in a few weeks... But fuck I love my car and can't wait to see what all I can do to it. My goal is 600hp.
@@yurimarkov1622 massive amount of work to get 750hp, the standard bottom end isn't super strong because the rods arent the best, 500hp would be very close or over its limit, 3.6 on standard internals should be kept about 450hp to be safe or buy some decent rods and bolts and boost all you want.
What made you decide on the 1.4? I have one with the 2.0 and it is just barely enough for it to get out of its own way. The VR6 really should've been the base.
ahmed alghannam if there's really a horsepower difference, then I can only assume they changed something about the timing to make it run properly on American fuel. in Europe, RON 95 (AKI 91) is pretty much the lowest grade available and a lot of cars take advantage of that, whereas in the US, RON 91 (AKI 87) is usually the lowest, preferred and most-sold grade.
I have an US version 2013 3.6 CC (280 HP stock). It was doing 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds. Did a little chip tuning, now it does 5.9 on 95 gas, and 5.8 on 98 gas. Still a bit slower than DSG EU version (5.3-5.4), but no problems with automatic gearbox compared to that dreadful DGG.
@@JremV chiptune have is more worth on a turbocharged engine, NA engine it gives you some hp more for a lot of money. With turbocharged you can get only with software 50-60 hp more an 100nm torque more and this for the same money. Sorry for my bad english i learned it only at school in germany😅
I've got 133k on my 12' CC with the 2.0 and no issues with the DSG. I would definitely go for the manual for maintenance costs though. I just got quoted $750 for a fluid change.
This just like my 2012 impala is a car alot of guys would sleep on until it blows your doors off. They definitely have enough power to be fun without breaking the bank for a fire breathing v8.
I've had my 3.6 for 5 years, I spent an initial 2.5k sorting out the dsg and since then haven't spent a penny on it, never broken down, launch it regularly, most reliable car I've ever owned tbh.

Da kann ich dir nicht rechte geben. Achte mal auf das rechte Tachometer. Der in der Mitte ist zu langsam und kommt nicht mit. Das ist bei den meisten Autos.

Eine GPS Messung dürfte hier Klarheit schaffen. Mein 3.6er schaltet bei 7000 Umdrehungen in den dritten und hat da bereits die 100 kmh im Tacho. Ich fahre aber auch mit gemessenen 306 PS und nicht wie der hier im Video nur mit ca. 275 PS.

COME ON. VW needs to bring the 3.6L back on the Arteaon as an option. This engine sounds so good. I know its available on the Altas but come on. Enough of this BS with 1 extra MPG.
not real. Why you put it to 3000 RPM??? start normal and with GPS. 0-100 in 6.5 sec without launchcontrol (3000 rpm). Are you starting in the city in the traffic every time with 3000 Rpm? E500 5.0 V8 306 hp (after 20 years and 500.000 km about 290 hp)without launcontrol, then V8 requires NO launchcontrol, it has the power fulltime from under 1000 rpm 8 cylinder. Accleration: 0-100 in 5.1 sec, 0-200 in 20 sec. Got it?😉
as yo can see the digital speedometer jumps in a 8-10 km/h refresh rate, is not linear, i think the time was measured ones the needle dial hit the 100Km/h mark
Please Comapre the CC V6 not with 528i. 528i: more weight. only 4 cyl. 2000 ccm. not the right opponent. right opponent is: F32 435i: 6 cyl., 3000ccm (both with turbo). and nerly same weight. same conditions to "volkswagen" CC V6.
I have a BMR 2.0 PD TDI 200 HP Passat and it's runs 7.9 0-100. This is 300 hp on the Passat but i think this car is a lot of fun for sure. A family variant with 300 HP a pure engine sound from the 3.6 v6 ;)
U own a 2003 Honda Civic, I wouldn't be talking.. With rear tyre out and intake, it's 0-100 is then 4.7 (I've tested myself) with a APR tune, it's 4.4 sec 0-100. Look on dragy and the other 500 people that have done that time with the same mods as me

Got full exhuast, apr stage 1 remap, intake kit and upgraded throttle body, does 0-100 in 4.4 sec with rear tyre out on launch control. If u really love it, there is a supercharger kit that goes almost bolt on to the engine and it will boost you to 750 hp

my 2012 Passat 3.6 SEL FWD DSG will do 0-60 in 5.6 stock.... i have yet to get a chip tune but im not sure if it is even worth it at this point.
