dude understand that vtec is nothing that makes insane horsepower, it just allows a super hot cammed sport high revving engine to have less aggressive cam profiles on low rpm so that it works smoothly and burns less gas, and vice versa it allows typical economy engines to have more grunt on high rpm... this could perform just as well without the vtec, would be a bit more lumpy at idle and less powerful until higher rpm...

VTEC stands for Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control and as there is no valve control in the NSX then there is no vtec but the I part of the I-VTEC still stands so it's just an "I" So the dealers in Switzerland and France are misrepresenting it if they are saying it has I-VTEC.

gmansplit it is impossible for you to compare a ZO6 or an E63 to this thing. The Corvette Z06 0-60 time is so much slower, it is not worth taking about it, while the E63 may be faster on the straight, but there is such a big difference on the cornering. If that car has that kind of price tag, it has to be a good reason.

People act like this is the fastest car they have ever seen. GTR does 2.7, Turbo S does 2.5, 570S does 2.8, 488 does 2.9, Huracan and R8 do 2.5. They sound better too. 3.2 is still an extremely fast time, but it is the slowest in its group.
FireBlade I remember a couple of years ago when some guy mocked an Aston for taking 4 seconds to 60 I said someday soon some benchracer will mock a car for a 3 second 0-60. You're confusing 0-100 with 0-60. It is quicker than an AMG GT-R to 100 and Jag SVR. Those cars except for the 570s are all much more expensive. The 488 has been tested at 2.8 and most GTR tests I see are 3.1-3.4. According to your figures it's the 488 you'd be mocking if the NSX didn't exist. It's the slowest in the group but some car has to be. It's speed deficit is tiny compared to a grocery getter that takes 9 seconds to do a 100. Your position is absurd.
I like this Honda, but the price is way too expensive $200k!! For that price I rather get a Lamborghini Huracan (not that is a better car, but is a Lamborghini!!! and this is a Honda)

damefaso What do you mean it doesn't have vtec? Vtec is just Honda's name for variable valve timing which this nsx and pretty much all modern engines have.
0-60mph is not the same as 0-100km/h, 60mph is about 96-97km/h ish so there the little bit is lost.. It is actually said to be 3sec 0-60mph which fits nicely with that ca 3.3sec 0-100km/h
