Oh yeah, main channel stuff is amazing, even though I think I watch 50/50 main and uncut I really appreciate the work that has been put into the main channel. I really enjoyed the graphical explanation that has been put into the recent video about new RTLS strats, made everything much clearer
About future of x86 and ARM for gaming: it’s up to open-source emulators, and right now we have an amazing team developing FEX. Sure it’s not gonna be „cycle accurate“ so we may lose consistency in these speedrun relevant glitches, but that’s just generational shift and that’s what it takes. Tidying up the compatibility burdain (hw and sw) from 1990 or whatever has to be the course sometimes. Emulation isn’t directly „super incompatible“, just takes time to get perfect. It started in 2020 and with mass adoption of arm it will only accelerate. Sorry, had to put my 2 cents in.
And yeah you’re totally correct, games w/ invasive DRM and anti cheat will likely be borked, that’s on the devs rly. Rest is what gets cracked or revitalised by enthusiasts and will just be in a total retro zone. For speedrunning it also depends on how conservative the community is; as in how long it takes to adapt and adopt new tech stack and accept potential problems, not just stick to x86 till forever
Aaaand looking at the speedometer the rustler is indeed much faster than the stuntplane, sad. Rustler tops out at around 200 sa units/second, sometimes reaching 220 when diving, while stuntplane already tops at 150, rarely dropping below that :( I loved the stuntplane when I played, stuntplane one love!
On channel points -- you might add a reward "explain this trick that just happened on screen in great detail". Might not work in a context of a speedrun where you have to move on and cannot provide visual aid, but I think might be a fun idea if made work
Don't even try it... I did participate in it once last April... my body STILL doesn't fully recovered from 10 hour marathon it was. That including my PC freezing and me being forced to redo the delivery of Flatbed from Spinybed in North Las Venturas (one of the longest drives to the center of the map). PS. Speaking of the schedule... no schedule... it can whenever people want to do it as it's one of the maps that is available to be played on the server and can randomly appear in the map voting. Yeah, there're special events like that one in April that was announced in advance, but that's a rarity. PS. When Joshimuz ended his race there were best time... and I remember control_speed who was 2nd in April, still in top 10. That was maybe the first time this full event was done of new server. And I remember that control_speed complained about some stuff before the event started, like he wasn't able to practice as much and he still was very good.
14:15 I think someone need to calculate how many view hours it takes to get to 1 million channel points with & without subscription. And with Josh's typical streaming schedule, how many weeks that'd be.
Reply to the random Josh ARM rant: both prevalent ARM PC platforms have emulation. Apple's is good, Windows' is lackluster but it'll get better. If they abandon the emulators, there will be open source and commercial ones.
Josh, im concerned for your health, u r singing and beatboxing to non existent songs, also you "skip" them and change playlist, maybe you should go to the doctor
It's a real time map of everyone going towards the delivery point. It just doesn't have the SA map underneath. The colors represent the person's car color.
The singing along to music we can't hear really is annoying for RUclips, it's true. It's hardly the end of the world, but it would be nice to not have it happen.
I never realized how much Josh wearing a party hat immediately makes me feel absolutely delighted and filled with childlike glee
Even that one?!
Even that one.
This was one of the best NYE I've had. So much fun collecting the vehicles and hanging out!
Happy New Year Josh and friends! Also Hi past me 👋
I'm personally enjoying the uncut channel more. Please never stop these.

There should be a version of this that has power ups hidden, nitrous power up, cars fly power ups, cars float on water power ups.
Tried to complete Desert Bus while watching this. Didn't end well though, as I veered off the road after almost 3 hours while trying to order dinner.
At least you tried. Happy 2025 and good luckfriend.
@@rodrigoparra123 Thank you. I guess you could say that. Have a good 2025, too.
I'm wasted the entire New Year Holidays on watching (almost) all of that Josh's VODs he generously preemptively prepared for us. :^)
halp

yes Even that one
While watching, I pause the video every time the song on stream changes and play it by myself for full immersion.
I'm only two and a half hours in, not a bad idea

So when are the MS Paint thumbnails coming back?
Sultan
Edit: Damn
Delighted to hear that even Big Streamers™ do their stream configuration (i.e. channel points) at "midnight last night" and it's not only me.
is there a way we can participate in this, next time it happens? Is there a schedule?

Hello past me who dropped a hello to a future me to a livestream
how many channel points to stop you from "singing"
has josh ever had a good time with a party hat?
There's so much on screen, i feel like i'm watching a Ubisoft HUD xD

2:44:12 was that faye with the at400? 😂
As an American, that last joke was hyper wild until you explained it. 😂😂😂😂

nice video josh❤
YES finally another one! I say the last vehicle will be... Sandking
He had to check his phone to see what year it was
What are all the colored dots on the right of the screen ? I'm 3hours in the video I still get no clue
It's a real time map of everyone going towards the delivery point. It just doesn't have the SA map underneath.
The colors represent the person's car color.
@@bs_blackscout that makes sense, thanks
I liked his color more this time, at least it's not fucking boring brown/beige.
YEEEESSSS i fucking love these races lol
Hello, @WaterArko !
1:36:56 joshTechIssue
Happy old year
Another silly idea for channel points: freeze frame on the camera
Sad I can't join this stream cause my internet died for the whole day for no reason
FUCK YEAH!

RIP believers @151+ cars in, Jebaited by mod
Vroom vroom, busta!
Can't prove i didn't just jump ahead and look what the final vehicle is, but here we go anyway: Quadbike.
I don't watch you on Twitch, but man, I need me a Joshimuz sticker! How can I get one?
perennial last one please
the constant "ch ch ch" sound you made was unbearable
The singing along to music we can't hear really is annoying for RUclips, it's true. It's hardly the end of the world, but it would be nice to not have it happen.
Hooorayyy
EvEn ThAt OnE???????
It's actually illegal to pay someone to play a game
Nah
Just like all crypto, channel points aren't a real currency
