- Being a public servant requires you to put the country's best interests above your own.
At a hearing, Congresswoman Katie Porter questioned the Chair of the Federal Reserve, who is the top official responsible for the country's economic well-being.
As the President seeks to unduly pressure the Chair to change interests rates, Congresswoman Porter questioned how the American people could have confidence in the independence of the Fed when he parties with the ultra-wealthy-like Jeff Bezos, Jared Kushner, and Ivanka Trump.

@@dewayneearley7298 the Fed is a private bank and there is no conflict there if the leader of a private bank goes to party with the richest person in the country. If however, the Fed chairman is even seen in the same room of a government official, let's say the secretary of the treasury, that is bad for America because it usually means they are planning to print more money.

If she were highlighted in the media to the nation instead of her unseen moments on C-SPAN, Democrats would finally have the “come to Jesus” moment they’ve been waiting for and clamor for her candidacy as President. Yes, it’s legal to go to a party. But in a position of power such as this, ethics would tell you it’s inappropriate to socialize with people who could greatly benefit from an audience with you. You might get an invite, but you do not attend.

I believe and hope in the near future she would run for president. She is always calm, respectful and extremely knowledgeable and prepared for these interviews.
