The ‘58 GM cars get a bad rap because of all the brightwork and exterior do-dads (especially the Buicks), but for pure character and a trip back to a simpler time, the ‘58s are iconic. This one is absolutely iconic. Thanks, Jay!
I love the way you describe cars of the 50s, I know you’re not that old but hearing your excitement in your voice is priceless. I can see Paul Drake driving this along the LA streets.
My sister and I went with my uncle to Byron Stout Pontiac to see the new 1958 Pontiacs. We took a test drive in a 1958 Pontiac convertible. It was blue with a white rocket stripe. With the top down we went on a nice test drive. Well, my uncle said that he bought a new Pontiac. I told all the neighbor kids that we just bought a new convertible and was excited to show off our new convertible. My uncle brought home the new Pontiac. But it was not a convertible but a red 58 Pontiac safari station wagon with a white rocket stripe. I said where is the convertible? He said oh that was just for a test drive as he intended to buy a station wagon all along. The station wagon was ok, but I really liked the convertible better.😊
Amacing american muslce car, it looks like buck Rogers spaceship 😊 😊 😅thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always 😊😊

This is more than just a car a real work of art. The great 1950´s at its best. Thanks Jay! 🙂

Nice car 🚗 👌 👍 👏 😎 😀
These cars were art, not a rolling TV decked out in LEDs like an '80 Harley show.
wow all that interior chrome :)
Had a Pontiac chieftain in high school
It was the car to have in 58.
THIS CLASSIC 58 PONTIAC IS WORTH A MINT
"Too much wasn't enough " 👍
The '58 GM lineup was full of over chromed turds. But the one car they got right was the Bonneville. Beautiful car.
Need the Bonneville coupe (first yr.) 🥰😬

i want this one…
Was the former owner of this car Les Scopes?
It is, it has the same nicks and dings on the radiator, you can do a side by side comparison with this video and the my car story video.
"What is your name?" "My name is Bob. Bob Bitchin!" Nice older restoration, but a shame the clock isn't working....
What was the Price,?
108k
Please price
