I got in a similar situation when I first got into celeste, another channel I'm subscribed to made a lyrics cover of reach for the summit a few days after I started playing it. There was also the beginning of a series teaching celeste speedrunning a week later.

I think that says something too, because Madeline was never alone on her climb. She always had someone there to watch out for her - she had some sort of friend somewhere.

The entirety of the Celeste ost is my jam.
As a big fan of celeste and all of the sound track. Thank you so much. Imo, the find the summit song is one of the best and most energetic themes of the whole game. The way when you finally get to the final part on summit with the countdown. Just felt so damn good. Sadly the normal version of the song is around 7 minutes long so its a little too long for my normal song playlist. So thanks for this one, it really is nice to be able to listen to it with everything but still be short and tidy :)

Oh my god I'm getting emotional hearing this and thinking about how incredible that last level of the main story was. I didn't love Celeste, basically because I wasn't good enough at it, but this last bit where Madeleine overcomes her insecurities and cooperates with Badeleine to acheive their ultimate goal is just such poweful storytelling, and this song is just the icing on the cake. I love it, thanks SMB!

Amazing work, Trevor! Though as a beginner learning this (I'm the secondo, my sister is learning the primo), I really wish there were pedal markings in the sheet music. :(
@@Nomen_Latinum I'm so glad you've enjoyed it! Generally, if I don't include pedal markings, the implication is to just re-pedal any time the harmony changes, so if you're playing the secondo part, I'd just change the pedal whenever it's clearly moving to a new chord.
@@TrevorGomes Thank you, that's very helpful. Does that mean you re-pedal every two measures or twice per measure from 2:47 onwards? Also, I assume the staccato parts at 0:42 and 2:10 are played with no pedal at all?
