So the side steps I allways wanted to purchase them but i feel like they might go bad in a few years or just not work al of a sudden.for a expedition suv. If any good links to get good sidesteps. Pros and con about them? And would you recommend them ?

@@chinito20fam I've had these steps for over a year and had no problems. A little tough to install but nothing to hard. I would recommend.

Hey man get Color matched “RAPTOR LINER” and you can get it in a spray can and spray like the 2 or 3 inches around the wheel wells to stop the rust from coming threw , it is like 2 part paint in a spray ya hit the button on the bottom mix and spray works awesome , i did the bottom of my doors on my jeep to protect them a year ago still looks awesome.. oh and the codes were just because of the traction control because you had 2 different size tires on there , pull battery terminal to reset ECM and put matching size tires on the front you wont have any problems.. 👍
I raptor lined my rocker panels and its starting to rust thru, so differently isn't rust proof
High country tow mirrors with color matched caps would look better than the stock mirrors

I wouldnt go two inchs wider , the width the rears are now is perfect
He has to go 2” wider in the rear because once the lift is installed it’ll push the front out 2” and the only way to have an even stance is by adding the 2” spacer in the rear.
I’m a HUGH fan of Tahoe’s so this is by far my favorite build!!

I love the tail lights on the Escalades and seeing those tail lights on the Tahoe just doesn’t look right. It just doesn’t look right to me.
For the hell cat you should get some plexiglass and screw it on your bumper underneath to avoid further scratches
Damn that thing looks sweet custom tow mirrors would bring it all together can’t wait to see it finished
Wrap the door pillars between the front and back windows black to match the tint... would be the easiest and cheapest little touch but would really make the look your going for. Good job all around!

If you do run spikes on the Tahoe color match them red for sure, and also the tow mirrors would match great either black or color matched.

I bought a 2004 Yukon right before you got the Tahoe. When I saw the video that you were doing a Tahoe build ( even though it's a different body generation ) I was so stoked.
Glad it was an easy fix. I slapped my forehead for not even recommending that. Installer 101!!! Why not ‘reset’ the brain and disconnect the neg for a bit. Definitely coming together

got the same codes thrown on my 2010 silverado z71 because my wheel bearings went bad. but yours like you said is probably from two different wheels and tires and it’s throwing off the wheel speed sensor so should be good once they’re all the same

That’s so crazy that all it took was turning it off and turning it back on but dang that’s good that it worked. Are they supposed to take the long to go back up?
I’m watching this in my 05 yukon that’s on a 6” lift and the same wheels with 33/12.50s
The Tahoe is going to be a great build.
If it were me, if you're set on doing the powdercoat, I wouldn't rush, assemble it, go to the show, then redo it once you get home. Been there, done that, so I'm talking from experience.
it would Look really good powder coated red but If it comes down to crunch time the silver would look really good too!!! You have a lot of passion with your work.

Noticed you used crimp/ heat shrink butt connectors and a grill lighter ...like I use to recently I got some cold solder butt connectors off amazon and a cheap heat gun from harbor freight for any wiring jobs I do now I won’t ever use crimp ones again.

What are you doing as far as exhaust goes?
Did the big tires mess up the transmision and or arms in the future?
I just installed my amp steps all thr lights stay on no matter what door is open. I ended up mounting mine under the body instead of the spot they tell you to. Also every now and then my door latches stick a little bit and the steps dont fold down unless i touch the latch. Im on a 05 duramax.
About time brother wanted to see them wheels and the lift on the Tahoe
I would leave it silver to break it up a Lil bit but if you had the time the powdercoat would look good to
You should use 2 pin wire connectors to be able to have like plug and play for the lights incase one goes out or use different ones
Will you be keeping the stock exhaust on the Tahoe? Not gonna lie I didn’t like that you got a Tahoe but now I’m lovin it, same thing with the other Chevy😂

They look like directional rims... But you have one side digging and the other swooping. (not sure if those are the correct terms. All in all, they look great.
“Why don’t you have a Tahoe?” it’s probably a top 5 most common vehicle on the road, and definitely the most common SUV on the road. People have been lifting and putting tires on those forever all across the United States, maybe not in Ohio(?) but I find that super hard to believe. My high school parking lot had every generation lifted with tires, a ton of the newer era ones. So weird hearing you talk about them like they’re some unknown gem lol.

My wheel are some factory looking 20in Ram wheels tire size are 275/60R20
As far as I know all chevys had a wider front axle even the 87 and down square body with straight axle with 4x4, it was I believe, don't quote me on it but think it was for making a better turning radius so you could turn sharper and tighter.
Two different tire sizes throw the wheel sensors off because bigger tire takes less of a rotation than the smaller tire

Super late but just snug all the lug nuts before tightening them all down, sometimes they dont seat correctly on the hub if you run that first one down all the way off rip

What kind of headlights do you have on your truck?
You should tint the tail lights darker to match the windows. Would make the back end look a lot cleaner.

In Ohio cops won’t pull you over if your tags are expired till dec 1st of this year or 90 days after the pandemic ( which ever comes first). Check the Ohio dmv website. Also a Ohio resident here and my tags expired the 10th of August still haven’t gotten pulled over. Neighbor is also a cop and I asked him to make sure. Just in case you wanted to drive taho around town

I just purchased some 17x8 5x114.3 rims and I am wondering if that rim with a 255 wide tire would be an issue for fitment in the rear? And then a 235 in the front

Zip ties those light up if possible. The tape fails on em than you drag em behind truck
Just make sure you get a cam, springs, converter to make it go as well

My truck has a 5 inch lift with 35”s and they almost look small I’m thinking those wheels and tires are gonna look tiny with the 9 inch lift

To fix the bash take the negative off and put it back on 😂 I’m fr it’ll clear the lights
ABS will be all good once all the tires are the same size, all the faults set because your fronts are spinning at different speed than the rear.
Does anyone know about jeeps... 2002 jeep grand Cherokee...turn jeep on shuts off after 3 seconds...I put in a new key immobilizer and still wony stay on.?? Thanks
ABS computer is reading a different rate between the front and rear wheels and thinks you are skidding. That's why you have the pulse in the brake pedal and the codes
