Thanks so much for watching! Let me know your thoughts on Good Burger 2 and if you feel it did justice to the original Good Burger movie from 26 years ago!
Ah, your video showed another cameo from the first film, Shar Jackson. She played Monique in the first Good Burger movie, and she has a cameo here as herself singing along with other celebrities to give Good Burger back.
Yes after All that and Kennen and kel ended they both tried out for sat night live and kel got rejected. His wife cheated on him and his acting career tanked even moved to a low income area. So happy he is now better and back to where he is at
I think he was the “wacky” one and people know him for “wacky” not the “serious funny/can tell a joke a not have to be too off the wall” one yk like the comic that Keenan seemed to be not the slapstick/off the wall type. So, people probs thought “what could we really do with him” Think Damon, Marlon & Shawn Wayans Damon- serious funny/silly can do over the top, but mainly just cracks a joke and ya laugh Marlon- Off the wall, goofy asl for the most part. He leans into dramatics more Shawn- more mellow than Marlon in his roles at least, always the more logical funny one (again, he can do over the top too) All of them found success, but it’s probably harder to sell a person who throws themself at a wall if they aren’t specifically creating that space/their own shows for them to do so like the Wayans. Like imagine Kel as a family man just cracking jokes I think he got typecasted & people can’t see past that side. But to be fair, his pitches to SNL were too wild for them apparently.
I was the VFX supervisor and I can say from our end we were definitely aware of how much it meant to do this film right for the fans. Most of the team were young enough to also have nostalgia for the original, so we were trying as hard as we could to nail it. Glad you enjoyed the film!

It is evident from beginning to end that everyone working on this film is a fan of kenan & Kel , the good burger and its fans. So enjoy and have a wonderful holiday season.
Just hearing those words spoken into the universe struck fear into my heart, I don't think there's another movie that really captured my childhood and brings back such fond memories like Good Burger. I guess besides The Iron Giant or the original Toy Story it's almost like a sacred text to all of us 90s and early 2000's kids. Regardless I'm still going to re-watch the first one even if this one is bad which it most likely won't be.
"Welcome to Good Burger, Home of the Good Burger can I take your order?" It's Great to see Ed and Dexter back again, the first movie was Great and Hilarious.
I wasn’t even born when the original movie came out, so I was first introduced to Kenan and Kel during the “90’s are All That” TV block back in like 2012. Ever since then I’ve been a huge fan of the duo, so I had been looking forward to this movie! It did not disappoint.

Love the fact they kept the same plot set up. I knew just from hearing them talk about it that I wouldn't be disappointed! I'm watching it again tonight Lol
After finding out that Drake and Josh were never friends, it's good to see that Kenan and Kel's friendship was apparently genuine. Not ALL of my childhood was a lie lol.
I have reason to believe that Josh lied about that so that he could distance himself from Drake after the legal issues. They even planned a reunion show together in recent years. (Josh's pitch was kinda bad though). Either way they are apparently no longer friends. Drake was even offended that he wasn't invited to Josh's wedding, so clearly Drake thought they were friends.

It’s crazy how out of all modern sequels, GOOD BURGER 2 is one of the most respectful and fun follow-ups to the original, even slightly improving on aspects from the source material.
This movie was so much fun. It had that perfect 90s campiness but it wasn’t over the top. Also the visuals were great! They made a beautiful movie and it felt good to have a nostalgic movie that felt like it cared.

It really is surprising that this movie got made and is out-and perhaps just as surprising to hear that they actually made a pretty decent sequel at that!
This sequel was very excellent & still funny as heck.....first thing first, it's still a kid friendly movie which us as adults still love as well too. It's silly comedy but it always @ the end always has a message. Secondly, this comes to prove that you don't need to be vulgar, profanity, heavy sex, nor violence to create movie magic. Sometimes keep it simple speaks for itself. Thirdly, not every funny reference will be a hit....but most of it does & never gotten corny or lame. I love silly comedy, this ones a hit in my book..... 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Nearly three decades later and despite both being older than me by more than a decade, Kenan and Kel look like they aged far less than I have. Oh, well, at least my inner child is still happy at this news.
To be brutally honest, while it was good to see the characters, I kind of expected more. As of the old characters, all we got was about two minutes of the frozen guy, and none from Kenan’s crush, Sinbad, or the girl Ed met at the insane asylum, when they break danced their way to save the place who I expected to form a connection with. Ed was always the goofiest but well meaning guy, but the movie had filler, and kind of wanted a slightly plot driven story.
There are so many things in this movie that could have easily been annoying and unfunny, but they managed not to. Idk how much is me wearing nostalgia glasses and because I got the Easter egg references, but I actually found this movie enjoyable. A win in my book!
Watched this with my sister on thanksgiving. It's hard to rate it well when you know that it was like 70% created to hop on the sequel train and for bucks. I found it to be cheesy, silly, and laughing just from the idiocy of it all (but I also did that with the first one which is why it works here as well). Couldve cut like half of Ed's family and the new peeps from the bit. I actually enjoyed Kurt's sister. The actress was funny (much like in 22 jump street) and the reoccurences from Roxanne, Fizz, and others wouldve been nice to last a bit longer but I actually enjoyed it which i couldnt say for other remakes or sequels these days
I learned something interesting about those burgers from Arby’s. Certain locations don’t have grill tops. So instead of putting the patty on the grill it is put into the deep fryer. Until we meet again!
Dang, I can't believe they somehow NAILED the comedy from the original film but in the modern day. It seriously gives me hope, it's just like a movie from the 90s but in higher resolution.
Good Burger 2 manages to keep the 90s vibe. I especially loved it when all the Edamotronics go hay wire, Including The London Edamotrnic calling everybody nitwits
Thank you for this review. Good Burger 2 is the 1st thing you see when you open Paramount Plus and I didn't watch it yet just in case it wasn't as good as the 1st. I'm very impressed by this review. The fact that Ed owns Good Burger and has 7 kids made my heart evaporate.😂😂❤😢💯
When Good Burger 2 drop, I have to live the nostalgia again by watching the first one. 😄 I felt like a kid again just by watching the first movie, remembering everything by heart. Then I went straight to the sequel, and the energy was the same with a big-time skip, of course. I'm glad they did this again, along with some new music for the movie.
The movie and the creative awesome talented one of a kind duo are awesome the energy brings a smile to my face Is like nothing ever changed and to think this all came from a sketch of All That is incredible and shows that anything is possible
Great review as always! The only flaw that I can see is choosing the crinkly fries over the curly fries for your order. Crinkle fries are great and all but this was a CRIME, an indelible sin Jordan. Gonna have to bump the review down to just an 11/10 now.
I have no shame in how this is nostalgic and follows the same formula of the first (the first being one of my favorite movies ever). Like of all the stuff getting remade and rebooted and legacy sequels or whatever, this is one that captured the original's essence and did not pander to it. I'm so happy this exists because I gave up hope it would happen. I will say two things about cameos that you didn't mention, though it may have been on purpose. Shar Jackson, that gorgeous lady from the first Good Burger, made a literal cameo. She came back for the film, but as herself. Like it's the bare minimum, and she nailed it. Like you said about Good Burger 2 being what it needs to be and nothing more. I was very delighted to see her. A lack of a cameo I noticed was Mr. Bailey. For good reason, but like a passing reference would have been okay with me, like if he got in trouble for feeding his mother cat food? Just saying. Anyway, this movie is all I've ever wanted, but again. You mentioned a Jimmy Neutron episode (McSpanky's?), but I have another one. When Hugh uses that stupid remote to redo the last thing he ate. I wasn't grossed out by it. I enjoyed it a second time, and I will happily do it again (I'm the type of guy who loves sticking to the formula). The formula doesn't even have to be standardized. Just put Ed in different situations, taking things literally and saying outlandish things; with Dex there to keep the plot going, I guess. That was a good burger, y'all. Edit: They did mention "The Owner of Good Burger" left Good Burger to Ed before he "went bye-bye." I'm guessing they're talking about Schneider, but it was quick and again all that it needed to be. But I never thought of him as the owner.
I watch good burger atleast once a year, grew up watching all that and kenan and kel. This movie was a very good sequel, so happy they didn’t mess it up. Funny and same humor as the first
Fun Story: My oldest brother rented "Harold & Kumar get the munchies" to watch with his friends. My mum, seeing the DVD, got confused it was "Good Burger" (maybe racist) so let me & my friends watch it. We were confused but enjoyed it (not really getting the weed jokes). The part where they are on the plane, with the bong, which people think is a bomb & the fat guy yelling "POISON GAS!!" became a meme (in our friendship circle) for years, after.
Thanks so much for watching! Let me know your thoughts on Good Burger 2 and if you feel it did justice to the original Good Burger movie from 26 years ago!

🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Loved it! It honestly felt like the original film.
Sadly not many of the cast will be back for this one. Shocked they got it off the ground without Schneider interfering
Well almost everyone was back from this one

Sinbad is credited in the movie, but he only did a quick voice, apparently.
There are so many things in this movie that could have easily been annoying and unfunny, but they managed not to. Idk how much is me wearing nostalgia glasses and because I got the Easter egg references, but I actually found this movie enjoyable. A win in my book!
So glad nothing changed nor had a agenda to it, just actually a sequel, and a fun one!!!!!
Kennan is above this at this point of his career. I'm surprised he took this on
Watched this with my sister on thanksgiving.
I personally loved it! Great job!!!? Great to see them back together
I learned something interesting about those burgers from Arby’s. Certain locations don’t have grill tops. So instead of putting the patty on the grill it is put into the deep fryer.
Until we meet again!
So Paramount did a sequel right, and I'm happy it was Good Burger
Dang, I can't believe they somehow NAILED the comedy from the original film but in the modern day. It seriously gives me hope, it's just like a movie from the 90s but in higher resolution.
Awe, they found a way to include Shar Jackson. Now, she can pay Kevin Federline his child support😂
Kevin is a greedy babymom
One of the better sequels, it does have its flaws. Of course, Eddl carried the movie. 6/10
The first one is still the best one out of the two but I really did thoroughly enjoy the second one and I was smiling the entire time
Good Burger 2 manages to keep the 90s vibe. I especially loved it when all the Edamotronics go hay wire, Including The London Edamotrnic calling everybody nitwits
I'll say this much, it ain't no Space Jam 2
Good Burger 2 is a WAYYY better movie than Space Jam 2
Thank you for this review. Good Burger 2 is the 1st thing you see when you open Paramount Plus and I didn't watch it yet just in case it wasn't as good as the 1st. I'm very impressed by this review. The fact that Ed owns Good Burger and has 7 kids made my heart evaporate.😂😂❤😢💯
I honestly don't know why I ever kept rewatching the original several times on VHS as a kid.
This movie was perfection!
I love how the burger mobile went from an AMC Pacer to a Chevrolet Caprice Convertible.
I enjoyed this sequel, I thought this was a fun continuation.
Funny and same humor as the first
Love that Lori Beth and Josh server were in the film too!
I was on edge about this movie. I’m so glad it turned out the way it did, and I really need to find that book lol
I just remembered another old anime/cartoon from Saturday mornings, Taichi chasers
LMAO, was not expecting a food review 😂.
Great vid
It was such an amazing movie I was shocked like it did not try to be anything more !
Very Great Recap! Great review! This movie is definitely a re-watch.
i loved it, glad im not the only one
i was today years old when I found out good burger 2 exists, so imma watch it. thank you
You gave me an idea? Amsr fast food sheetz . The sounds of eating it, then evacuating it.
I like the face cam in this video, surprised me but I liked it!
Kenan and Kel didnt miss a beat with their goofball and straightman dynamic even with recycled gags
I watched it last night and loved it.
This movie deserve an Oscar!
Wait, what Jordan isn't just a disembodied voice anymore?? I love this so much. Is it weird to be proud?
