I want to highlight: yes, absolutely talk to your doctor before taking anything within one hour before or after your levothyroxine. There are a variety of things that can interfere with its absorption: other medications including birth control, OTC medicines including antacids, food, caffeine, and supplements including iron and calcium.
I just don't consume anything but water until an hour has passed. My levothyroxine goes in first thing, and by the time I've finished my morning routine, I only have to wait about 15 minutes before I can eat. Which is usually just enough time to whip up some coffee and breakfast, after which, I take my morning supplements.

I don't know any of those medial words. Are there other words for us regular everyday people. I'm a full time home student with special needs. I'm a mentally challenged guy. I'm a slow learner and self learner.

@@DrLivingood I want to change my family’s eating habits and am looking into the supplements to get us started taking. What are the 2 most beneficial daily supplements u would recommend? I would love to get the top 5 u listed but unfortunately there’s just no way to be able to include that in my family’s monthly income. Or how would u encourage someone with low income to “stretch” the supplements so we cld afford to give our bodies healthy nutrition.

Hello. I just ordered your book and waiting to see how it can help with APS, my autoimmune disorder. I want to know how to eat more Vitamin K instead of less. I am told I can never get off warfarin because of the strong possibility of another clot since I am triple positive. Any suggestions with supplements? Thank you.
