I'm sending prayers your way. God is great and everything will be ok. Anxiety is a terrible thing and it runs in our family. I have been able to control mine but it has been a struggle. Don't lose faith. I love you , my nephew.❤🧡💛💚💙💜
So sorry to hear about this! What a scary feeling to go through! But definitely if there's something not right with your body don't prolong it, seek help immediately. I'm glad you were able to find answers and that you are safe!!
So sorry to hear of your struggle! Give yourself time to process the emotions and heal fully, it can take longer than expected. Over a year later and I still have moments of anxiety after my year long health scare, but it is so much better. Sending you healing vibes!
I think I may have the same, it sounds very similar to what I experience and it’s awful, I went to the doctor several times and also went to the hospital for examination but they couldn’t find anything specifically wrong and I feel like there is no real knowledge about this so thank you so much for this video, now I know I’m not the only one and there are solutions. Glad to know you’re doing better 😉
Hi David, I had the same procedure several months ago after having food swallowing problems for several years. 2 attempts 3 months apart where the first one my esophagus went into spasm so they had to abort the procedure. The second attempt worked and all was good up until a few weeks back when pills started getting stuck in my throat. The stricture half way down the asophagus has narrowed again. Now I've had a peanut stuck in my throat for the past week! I know what you mean about anxiety! I am still trying to get answers and something done, but the whole medical system has failed here in Australia, and every organ in the body is now compartmentalised into specialist areas making the whole process of getting well to be as bad as the condition. I have bowel issues as well, but as far as the medics are concerned they are unrelated... FRUSTRATING!
Thank you so much for sharing what you had been going through. I’m watching this 2 years later so wondering how you are getting on now? Wishing you well. I’ve stumbled across your video as I’m experiencing exactly the same symptoms for the past couple of months. I got Shingles about 6 weeks ago which has aggravated it further. I’ll definitely get it checked out after watching your video. Thank you so much. I’m hoping you are all better by now. Xx
I was eating with my family at home and we were eating chicken drum sticks and I drink some water with a straw and the chicken meat wouldn’t go down and the water was sitting on top of the food, so the water just kept coming up and everyone was scarred didn’t know if I was having a stroke or what. It was so scary! I felt like I was dieing. Going to go checked out to see if my doctor can figure out why this is happening. I thank you for this video and sharing!
I still haven’t been diagnosed for this, but it’s been happening for a few years now, maybe 6 or 7 years. I’ve only been to the ER once, but they just gave me some pills/capsules and I can’t recall whether they were effective. It still occurs with certain foods, mainly corn chips/flakes and strawberries for some reason. I’ve learned how to deal with it whenever it happens, trying to throw some up if it’s super bad, then attempting a burping motion until it goes through I guess. I haven’t experienced any weight loss, and symptoms haven’t worsened in the past 6-7 years. If anything, it has become less frequent. Can anyone give me some feedback?
Did they find out what you were allergic to? Also I didn't catch what ended up being the solution. Did the PPI or the dilation fixed your problem and are you able to swallow solid foods now like before the last incident? I'm also dealing with this and waiting for the endoscopy results.
They ended up saying that my stricture was due to acid reflux. I ended up finally getting dilated, and now I can eat like I used to be able too but it took time after the dilation.
I have the same. my esophagus was so small. I was given something called esomeprazole which really helped my esophagus. What really triggered my esopaghus was milk and wheat! Hope you are doing well. My esopaghus is currently getting worse. I hate this so much.
