I haven't touched Magic in over a decade. Bought a 40k Commander deck to get back into it with friends, but felt a little overwhelmed. I got really excited when I saw Eisenhorn was a commander and wanted to build a deck around him. I had no idea where to start but your vid helped me in the right direction. Thank you!
Welcome back to casting spells and I'm so happy to hear this helped! A few cards that I've added since I made this viddy are Academy Manufactor and Shimmer Dragon. They add sooo much value to this commander.
I went with an artifact theme for this Commander, since you make clue tokens for each combat damage dealt to an opponent, you can do quite a bit with this playstyle. And to make it more crazy, this can be build for around $65 or less depending how you want to approach it. Some of the key cards are ones that help with boosting your investigating generation, cashing in on those tokens, and being able to win the game after you get like almost 100 artifacts or somewhere around that number. Those being cards like Academy Manufacturer, Cephalid Facetaker, Time Sieve, Shimmer Dragon, Cyberdrive Awakener, and Mechanized Manufacturer for their respected roles. Eisenhorn is pretty flexible, all things considered. Hopefully this helps thoses looking to make a deck with him and needed some ideas.
Nice ideas! One of my closers I added to this deck before I took it apart was Rise and Shine. Cast it for the overload cost and turn all those Clue Tokens into 4/4s.
@@empty_g Yeah, that's also one of the sorcery spells I had in the $65 build. I'm sure we could go on with what else can be useful, but I think we all get the point of how good Eisenhorn can be. Now I'm off to tinkering my deck building skills with some other commander's, this one was fun to build with a low budget in mind, let's see if I can do Failbbadon the Armless with spells that throws a monkey wrench into the cogwheels of other players with spell cards like Collision of Realms and Chaos Warp. Not going to be good of course, but will certainly causes some extra lulz at the table.
It might take some extra build around steps, but I think Blood Funnel would be interesting in this deck. You've even already included Lier in your list! From the new 40k commanders Kharn the Betrayer really caught my eye because I've been wanting to use Grip of Chaos in a deck
Blood Funnel is a pretty interesting card! I think my brain would break trying to set things up for it 😂 Kharn the Betrayer caught my attention when I saw it doing work on the Command Zone. Grip of Chaos would be a good add to it if you're building a deck around it. I get scared of commanders that let my opponents draw cards tho

@@empty_g Those are very solid cards, I'll definitely be getting those as well. Thank you for the update!
@@bootson_au Np! Have fun and I'd love to know how you like your new commander :)
This is awesome, looks like a great include for my Anhelo deck
Oh yeah that could be a spicy add!
Honestly your thumbnails are EPIC! Jealous 😝 Love the deck tech!
Daww thanks :) Olive has been proud of the Warhammer thumbnails so this will make her day! It's also her B-day so even better timing
@@empty_g Heey! Happy birthday to her! Hope you have a great day x
@@MTGJosh She says thanks ♥

Hello there! What precon did this awesome Inquisitor Eisenhorn come in?? Thank you in advance 🙌
It's from the Forces of the Imperium Warhammer universes beyond deck! The esper one :)
I legit thought you were Lydia from Tim Cast. I was super confused as to why she was talking about Magic lol
I just looked them up and I can see the resemblance lol. I've also been told I look a lot like Taryn Manning from Orange is the New Black.
I have a question. Since it makes a legendary token. Can you still only have one legendary token of that name? 😊
Correct! It legend rules itself out.
When the second one comes in, and you are forced to sacrifice one; the death trigger skill counts, keep that in mind!
@@JM-tp5wr Yeah! I've been using those death triggers for Blood Artist effects or card draw with something like Morbid Opportunist.
