Your decklist is pretty much how am building it. I bookmarked it for reference! My Burakos / Folk Hero deck is coming apart to make Severina because it was a gain and drain deck. I think Severina will be much more splashy and allow for bigger plays where Burakos maxed out at 4 life drain on attack. Thanks for sharing!
So happy to hear you found it helpful! I got a few games in for Severina today and she can be pretty explosive. I'd say the most important piece is making sure you can keep your board state safe long enough to swing out for damage and drain.
@@empty_g For sure, I'll be putting in Grand Crescendo to protect my board as well as Selfless Spirit. I'm really excited to try Tombstone Stairwell because the tokens it produces have haste!

Hope I didn't overlook it in the deck list, but I think Anointed Procession would be good in this deck. Also Exquisite Blood, but might want to remove Vito in that case because that combo can make some players salty! Cool tech!
Thank you for sharing some ideas! I was on the fence about adding Anointed Procession. It has really solid synergy here but lately I've been a bit meh on higher cost enchantments that need a turn or 2 to really add value. I love it for my Elenda deck. Exquisite Blood would a great option too. Vito is probably one of my favorite black cards and I like using it as a game closer. Exquisite Blood is really powerful, but I might just be more biased towards Vito.
Looks great, though it's not at instant speed Finale of Glory is also a great way to get body's on board, they may get wiped before you can attack but if you have gain life and opponents losing life when your creatures die that's 20 life/damage on a wipe 😁
That would be a great addition for sure! Severina Raine has been one of my favorite commanders lately and it's at the point where making 1 cut to the list is sooo tough haha.
Good deck tech, just as a comment, severina does not heal you (only the 2 life of he sac), only drains the opponents, so maybe Vito is not thaaat strong if you're going wide and attacking
Yep I'm aware Severina doesn't give you life when they attack :) I think people over look the fact that Vito can give everything lifelink. I like to use them sort of how you would for craterhoof. Like one big swing out. I've won a fair amount of games that way. Feel free to run whatever you think is better tho! It's all about having fun :)

@@scottricks1676 oh heck yeaah. I always forget how little people want to attack or block deathouch creatures until I play a card that has it lol.
Reconnaissance will be useful in keeping Severina safe, in case of surprise blockers of combat tricks from the opponent that she's attacking
