Yes! I love my pair too (except the narrow toe box) for traveling and daily wear, it’s so versatile. It was the only shoe I took on a trip to Denver and wore it on moderate hikes then into the city for dinner. Spot on with your review. I’m going get a second pair soon.
I’m four pairs deep!! Came to Denver with limited suitcases space for a week. Wore a pair and packed a pair. I did a CF work out which included 1 rep max on deadlift, got up to 405# then followed up with 4 rds of 400M run, 6 burpees to target, 8 TTB and 10 farmer carry 50# db lunges. These shoes performed perfect 👍🏽💪🏽. I normally wear innovate 8 for CF and my vans for casual wear. They are doing both this week
I have flat feet but I absolutely love these. They are extremely versatile and comfortable. I would love to see an updated version, like the Exo 2 or something with better materials and more durability
I bought a pair of these on clearance direct from Vans a couple of months ago. Really nice looking shoe and very comfortable too! However, after putting them on for about the 4th time, the heel loop on one of the shoes pulled away! I ordered another pair straight away (the last pair in stock in that colourway) and returned the damaged pair. The replacement pair that arrived were damaged in exactly the same way straight out of the box!! I doubt I will ever buy Vans again after this experience
I sized up as my other tts pair were bit too snug in the toe box, night and day difference with the fit and comfort and noticed despite being size 11 it was same length as my size 10 old skools and sk8 his!!
Wait, this is a workout shoe? I have purchased this as a walking shoe, but great to know I can use this for athletics. Totally agree with the with and toe box issues. Had to get a whole size up because it was too tight. It's comfy, but I don't ever feel too agile in them.
I loved these shoes for so many reasons, except for one. The shoe looks cool and they feel great for the most part. I love flexible shoes and refuse to buy a shoe that is too rigid, but I cannot be the only one that hates how squishy the heel foam is. I feel as if I'm sinking into the ground with every step. I don't feel grounded in these at all.
Totally fair. They’re def a softer ride if you’re expecting traditional vans density, but I think that’s just a preference and expectation thing with em. I’ll rock em for longer travel days and plyo days for the reason, but ditch em for heavier lifting/days where I want more ground feel. You’re def not alone on this one!
Would you prefer Vans Ultrarange exo, Nike free metcons 5 or Nike free metcons 6 if you only have one pair for CrossFit/All around? Thank you, love your videos!
As a 230 lb dude, these are not great for walking around all day. Great for short periods or a couple miles. My long runs or long walks are not fun in these shoes. Love working out in them, not for standing around all day.
Can you do a video on a Kailas Fuga trail running shoe? Maybe one nore on ASRV shorts? The designs seems to be nice, but I just want to so my research I guess for the Kailas Fuga Yao type shoes. Thanks!
@@thatfitfriend I was actually referring to "MTE Ultrarange VR3". When I was in store the other day, there was the "MTE Ultrarange NEO vr3" too which was wider on the toe box.

Vans does listen to ideas. If we all hound them about widening the toe box and sorting out the upper toe area they would actually listen !
Let me know when they will start to make footshape, or at least 2e/ wide versions 😅😊
We all have to ban together and get this video to reach enough eyes 😅
Or at least offer a wide option with better upper
I love the Ultraranges but they are too narrow for my feet. I’d be all over some wide options
@@thatfitfriendi guess vans have the ultrarange exo se series, how do you think about that?
@@randawijaksana put on my old pair recently to compare and they still have the same snugger feel.

@@MattBee91 Ayy, Denver represent!
Thanks for checking it out and sharing your feedback, homie 🤝
Jeez I was about to buy these because they look like the widest shoe I've found

Love that! Whats your foot width?
We can only hope 🤞

@@essjayaitch wowwwww, yeah, I wouldn’t either after that. That’s nuts.
The damn toe box!!! I love every aspect of these except the narrow pointy toe box.

You can use em to train, for sure! Since you sized up and if they run notably long they may feel a little too spacious for that agile feel, imo.

UltraRange. They also just look way cooler if you plan to wear them outside of them, too!
@@thatfitfriend I just saw another one of your review videos. What about Striker Haze or Ultrarange for CrossFit/all around? Thanks again

I can add both to my list! I've had a few asks for those shorts!
These a legit, these are a perfect shoe to go disc golfing in as well
Stoked you like em!
What do you think about these Vans for someone with flat feet? Is the arch really aggressive?
Not necessarily, but the width can be problematic, especially with the midfoot taper of them. Can try these on at a mall if you're in doubt, too!
Have you had the chance to the the knitted version of these? im keen to know if that would make any difference. I love my pair too!
Which model are you referencing specifically? The Rapidweld model?

Wich one better, this one or adidas drop set 3 for workout
Dropset 3 will be more dialed for lifting and cross-training if that's your main ask
Any alternative for wide feet?
Is the main ask for a daily driver/hybrid or a training shoe?
@@thatfitfriend More like a casual daily driver, I usually workout with barefoot shoes
I just wish i could get these under 100. It costs 120 here in Ph
They go on sale. This past summer they had some for $89 plus an additional 30% off. I got two pairs, each was under $60 with free shipping 👍🏽
To the point above, def shop around if you can! You can usually find random colorways marked down :)
