It all works but after the Spotify client updates it goes back to normal. Do i need to reinstall every update? sick editing btw edit: turns out all u gotta do is repaste the same code on powershell and it will update itself. You dont even need to reinstall spotify.

Even after I install spotify directly from it, it still appears in my windows apps, how do i fix that?

That's weird, try uninstalling it again and restarting your computer. Then install the spotify from the official website

Make sure to install it from their official website to the default path, otherwise you'd have to specify it

you gotta somehow block spotify updates. Each and every time spotify gets updated, the spicetify installation dissapears
