    your video doesn't show you rinsing the product. The label says NOT to allow it to dry but isn't that what you did? So I'm confused...if I apply it, how long do i let it sit before rinsing or do I NOT rinse it?

    • @NativesunrealtyJacksonville
      @NativesunrealtyJacksonville  Год назад +1

      If you use white ox on a darker surface and don't rinse it off it could leave a white haze. There is no recommended time (that I could find) to allow the solution to work. Even if you let it dry on a dark surfcae you can still rinse it off. Just don't wait too long. On bare concrete like sidewalks and driveways I do not bother to rinse it off because the haze won't show.

      Just use a pump sprayer to soak the rust spots and then pressure wash it with your pressure washer or just spray it off with a garden hose. It works well on any iron spots but should be washed off with fresh water.

    What happens if you rinse or it rains? Does the rust reapear?

    • @NativesunrealtyJacksonville
      @NativesunrealtyJacksonville  2 года назад

      Thank you for the comment Elaine. No, the rust will not reappear if you rinse or after a rain. If the rust is from the iron in your well water when you sprinkle your lawn (like me) then it will come back after repeated watering. How soon will depend on how often you water.

  • @dannylopez9109
    @dannylopez9109 Год назад +1

    This stuff works great on sidewalks and concrete drive ways. The well-water and rain browns/redens the sidewalks etc. It will look like it is just redish brown dirt, but it is actually iron from the water. I always pressure wash first to get any dirt and debris that is stuck to the surfaces. Pressure washing just cleans t he surface but does not get to the soaked-in iron. They have a website that you can order directly. It is only worth it to order from there if you order the 35 pound container.

    • @NativesunrealtyJacksonville
      @NativesunrealtyJacksonville  Год назад

      With regard to the warm water, the water is already pretty warm coming through the hose. The granules disolved easily. I beleive the rinsing off is supposed to prevent a white haze from forming on treated surfaces. I was not concerned with a white haze on the concrete. Rinsing off any overspray on plants however is recommended to prevent damage. I was careful not to spray any plants. Did you get yours at the Ace Hardware in Neptune Beach?
