It might not count as a vehicle due to being a static model, but a chap did an impressive minifig-scale HMS Hood, and that has always been one of my favourite and most impressive Lego builds.
That is one magnificent piece of lego engineering. The fact that it lifts the chair with such control shows how well built it actually is. Very impressive.

I think it is the GREATEST LEGO MODEL that I have ever seen!!! ..not biggest but greatest, with this functionality and options.. You are an amazing engineer!
From a guy who was building scratch built cranes, 6 feet tall, when I was in grade school. This is absolutely amazing. I was adding weights manually to lift the boom from the ground while turning a crank! Now I'm 50 and learned a few things so I want to try a new build.
I watched a Liebherr documentary a couple days ago on RUclips and at the company they have a celebration every year and the grand finale is the triple crane lift. I'm not sure if the big model is the same as yours but it's similar, so they have a "small" crane get lifted by a bigger one, that gets lifted by a slightly bigger one, then an even bigger one lifts those two, followed by the finale when the jumbo crane lifts the three previous cranes all at once and wow the feat of human ingenuity and engineering is something truly amazing. You should try to repeat this for a future video. It's not hard to find the documentary and worth a watch, I believe the channel is called "Free Documentary."
imo LEGO should release a massiv overkill modell (like this one) every 3-4 years or so at maybe a 1000e/$2000/£1000 price point. just as a very impressiv series the price would be insane but quite good for the amount of parts youll get but knowing their track record theyll fuck it up at the 3rd or 4th modell
Some of the diecast models can go north of 1500. I would say that would be the limit of what I would be willing to pay. He's put in some really awesome features such as the sensors that tell the percentage of load. I would want that on the official version.
i wouldnt even expect the sensor thing from an official lego release as far as i can see those are all pretty standard blocks in this built so it wouldnt cost lego that much to produce something like that
Something of this size and complexity should be assembled and discussed in engineering classes throughout America. Imagine how much the students the fun they'd have while learning all about the engineering principles such a massive machine as this presents. Now I, too, am bitten by the bug of assembling LEGO creations, and so is my 4.5 year old daughter it seems.
I've gone through tours of one of Liebherr's fabrication yards in killarney and its extremely fascinating. Its hard to believe such massive structures can be made mobile.
Wow. This is about the coolest thing I've ever seen. I was a oiler on two Liebherr cranes and 600 ton Demag. Awesome video and I'm sure that cost thousands.

The weight distribution must the insanely good to handle just its own weight without collapsing, not even to mention the impressive load it can handle. Amazing. When you were showing the load readings and pulled on the hook I was thinking "No, those values must be wrong, they're barely increasing for a significant pull" (Even accounting for the block). Then you showed it lifting a CHAIR. Amazing amazing model
I understand it's a joke but wouldn't you need to attack the hooks to it anyway? Unless it's like the 6-packs with the plastic rings that you just need small modifications to it, if even.
