King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962) Final Battle with healthbars

- Reaching the mainland, Kong confronts Godzilla and proceeds to throw giant rocks at Godzilla. Godzilla is not fazed by King Kong's rock attack and uses its atomic heat ray to burn him. Kong retreats after realizing that he is not yet ready to take on Godzilla and its atomic heat ray. The next morning, Kong is deployed by helicopter next to Godzilla at the summit of Mount Fuji and the two engage in a final battle. Godzilla initially has the advantage dazing Kong with a devastating dropkick and repeated tail blows to his head. Godzilla then attempts to burn Kong to death by using its atomic breath to set fire to the foliage around Kong's body. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning from thunder clouds strikes Kong, reviving him and charging him up, and the battle resumes. Godzilla and King Kong fight their way down the mountain and into Atami, where the two monsters destroy Atami Castle while trading blows, before falling off a cliff together into Sagami Bay.

I was a 6 years old Japanese kindergartener when I watched "King Kong vs Godzilla" with my mother and younger brother at a local movie theater in 1962. Though sixty years has passed since then and I`m a 66 years old pensioner, I remember this bout between Godzilla and King Kong very vividly as if it was yeasterday.
I saw this movie with my dad on dvd on 2017 and I’m 11 years old now and my dream is to work for TOHO Studios but they don’t do this anymore 🥲
Did the movies look real for you at that time

@@cracstheidiot6913 In addition to King Kong vs Godzilla, I watched Mothra vs. Godzilla ,Ghidorah the Three-Headed Monster, Invasion of Astro-Monster, Ebirah Horror of the Deep,Son of Godzilla and Destroy All Monsters at a local movie theater in 1960`s when I was a primary school pupil. There were good old days in my life.

He didn't. Or to be more accurate the fight simply stops and back in 1962 no one cared about such things like "fight record" it wasn't until some 20 years later when we someone from the crew commented on the ending and called it a draw.
Imagine if the new GvK started out with the 1962 GvK battle and then slowly faded to the new one , that would have been a cool love letter to the showa fans

I had the dubbed version on VHS when I was little kid and looking at this makes me realize how much I couldn't see because that version wasn't in widescreen. There are so many shots here where Godzilla and Kong are onscreen at the same time whereas in the exact same scene on the VHS you can only see one of them because 45% of the damn screen is cut off.
It's also weird not hearing The Creature From The Black Lagoon music since I watched that version a couple hundred times.
