It's so interesting how different we all are. It's great. I got the Reverse Pochette Metis earlier this year and it is my most used bag. It's so beautiful and more importantly so practical. I think the bag makes great use of space. It's so nice to have a bag where I don't need a third party organizer because I could organize everything. I love it. It's my go to when I'm out on the town. The Puzzle Bag is cool, too. To each his own.

I have to say that I have been feeling the same way about my LV PM as well! It is a great looking bag, but in terms of actual functionality, it is a bit fussy to get in/out of! I like Dayle's suggestion of making it a point to use the bag for a month before actually letting it go -- I will have to try that too! Your new puzzle bag is just gorgeous, so in my opinion, it is the perfect replacement! :)

The fact that you even thought you had a maxi pad in your bag, was hilarious! 🤣 I definitely think you are more suited to the Faure le Page bag - I love the pattern.😍 For casual wear, I definitely prefer a Camera Bag or Messenger style bag. My two most used bags this year have been: my LV Odeon bag in Monogram Canvas and My Pochette Metis in Black Empreinte leather - I don't tend to have a problem reaching in the bag for what I need, when I wear it crossbody. 😍❤

One of the things I appreciate most about this little lux community is how we all like different things 🥰 I love my reverse metis, and I can totally see how it's not for everyone! I love my puzzle bag too, and that one is definitely more of a niche brand. And while I appreciate the beauty of Hermès, the styles (and uh price) aren't for me. Thank you so much for sharing your Fauré Le Page! Wish we had those here in the US! I love that print, gorgeous 💕

Totally get you. I love the original metis, I don't like the puzzle bag and Hermes is just not my style or my lifestyle.🤣. I however, do love the Alma and the Cluny both I use formally my funeral bags.
It’s funny how different things work for different people. My most used bag this year was the Pochette Métis in reverse! I agree it is a bit loud but I dress so casual and plain it works (I think!) I personally wear it crossbody and find it very comfortable and easy to get in and out of, and love the back pocket for my phone.
Love your other bag, bit too small for me but otherwise looks perfect!

The LV PM has never tempted me. I like the look of it, but when it was first released there were so many reports of problems! Loving the Faure La Page. Minimal bag buying for me in 2022. I need to restrain myself more!

No all the PM are same and yes so many issues but there are few without issues I have one of them I love it but is so hard to find the perfect right one.

I absolutely agree with the top access to a crossbody bag. I have the district pm in mono eclipse (I love black and silver hardware), but the stupid flap keeps me from reaching for it. I buy the camera bag style from Coach and/or Gucci pretty much yearly now because that’s the easy style that seems to work best for me. Thanks for sharing your feelings about the pochette métis; I have lusted over it for a while now, but I KNOW I will feel the same way that you did ♥️

This year was about buying things to take care of my jewelry. I got a beautiful lacquer box from Bvlgari. And the Monte Carlo by Louis Vuitton is the best travel jewelry piece ever

Do you think you would have used your PM more if it was in the empriente leather?
I feel stupid…. When I glimpsed them Faure le Page bag, I thought the yellow bit on the front was a slot for dog poo bags. My brain didn’t have time to engage before it came up with such a ridiculous idea (why would a luxury brand make a bag with a dog poo bag slot?!)
I have never heard of that brand but this little mishap with my brain aneurysm made me pay closer attention and has put the brand firmly on my radar. It’s beautiful…. And I’m a idiot x

hmm I dont know if I have a worst purchase this year. Maybe I bought too many little purchases. 2 ferragamo twillies and 2 pairs of Gucci socks/fendi socks LOL. But they are so sweet! I do love them so that is what counts. My best buy would have to be my keepall 50, a vintage ferragamo bag coming from japan right now, a ferragamo wallet and my versace scarf - they were winners.
Now that I think of it, maybe I didn't need to buy my pink Prada Galleria tote bag, but the pink was hard to pass..

Why people should pay over 2 k for a canvas bag that looks exactly same a 300 dollars full leather, sturdy, long lasting, beautiful and low maintenance. A coach cassie is exactly the same as the pochette metis with a 1/10 price and to me it's more chic and elegant in a real leather. I own Alma MM, PM in different materials. I regret to buy and they're the least in use. Not practical nowadays
