Yes. Please make more videos like this. GPS/location based games are criminally underdeveloped and it's always great to see more information on what's going on behind the scenes. Also, it's seems like no other RUclipsr really covers this kind of stuff.

(I actually just found the time to make a new video about the latest apks, just posted it) But yeah would love to be able to afford to spend more time making videos like this in the future! Shouldn't be too hard considering how fast the tech is advancing. Should be seeing a lot of new games soon.
We need a way to increase IV's like bottle caps, and a better way to get XL candies for ultra rare pokemon like Mythical which you can usually only get one of them.

@@Qeebs118 Not if implemented correctly. For example: You could get 1 bottle cap after every 20 KM for a pokemon that is an active buddy and is a best friend with you, and only after it reaches level 40 or even 50 and even then, have a bottle cap increase one stat only by 2 points for example. This way it would take you a very long time to make a hundo, but if there is a pokemon with a special meaning to you, or if it's super rare and you really want to make the most of it, you could eventually have it.
Not to mention that for PvP, hundos are much less desirable anyway, so that's less relevant for that portion of the game.
And for the XL candies - I've been walking with my Zarude for the past year and a half and for me to max it to level 50 (it's 96%) it would take me literally years, meaning that I can't swap buddies if I want to get those XL candies from walking (raids rarely give you any rare XL candies as well).

@@orandor6249 Changing the IV's has never been possible in a any Pokemon game and would completely ruin that mechanic of the game. Plus, a huge part of Niantic's profit is players raiding to get Hundos.
What's your next suggestion, every 20km, you get a paintbrush to turn your pokemon into a shiny?

The ONLY subscription model I’d be okay with is bringing back old events so if you missed out on something, only recently started playing, or want to replay an old event, you can. For example, if you’re new to the game, you missed out the Detective Pikachu, so with the subscription, Niantic could run that event back for three or four days where in addition to all the spawns for the current event, those Pokémon and tasks would be back. If there going to start releasing new mon and then not make them available to all players for a year, then eff them. Micro transactions are nothing but greed.
I disagree. As a f2p player, I rely on people throwing their money at micro transactions just so this game stays completely viable for f2p players. The way it is currently, you don't actually miss out on anything if you don't spend money on the game. Everything is technically obtainable if you spend enough time and/or are lucky enough. I imagine a subscription model would no longer allow for such a good f2p experience and it's pretty clear why: either the game becomes pay to play entirely, which would just outright kill f2p for pokemon go, or, which is more likely to happen, a subscription comes with massive perks that would make the f2p experience miserable. Because why would you pay for a subscription? Naturally you would want a reasonable compensation for it, else no one would get one. So obviously they would make subscriptions absolutely overpowered, much more even than microtransactions are right now. And a subscription model also doesn't even mean they would get rid of micro transactions either. Knowing the greed of niantic, they would have both things at the same time for maximum profit. So definitely a hard pass for this, I'd quit the game immediately if subscriptions become a thing.
@@hexamine666 they made over 20 mil during the two days of GoFest 2021. They aren’t hurting for money and charging people for things like incense and starpieces is ridiculous. They could afford to give us more.

The only way I could see them implementing this is by some remote raid pass like item that is only purchasable in the shop for a lot of coins, although even that is highly unlikely as niantic have stated before that they do not intend to go this route with pokemon go, hence they massively cut down on the whole free remote pass thing and price increase of these items. They want people to go out and about to play this game and not sit inside their homes raiding and trading remotely without stepping into the real world, unless of course you spend some good cash on it. But as I said, don't expect it to become easily accessible, if it's even going to happen at all.

Gimmighoul has two forms chest and wondering both evo into Gholdengo but the two forms have new stats I imagine that the wondering form not being in SV will be a POGO exclusive as well as its shiny might also be a POGO exclusive love the content keep it up!

Ok did this happen to any one else? So today I loged on to pokemon go and I went to my pokemon box thing and I went to search and right beside hisui I found a a circle that said TEMP and it said some random words and had gen 9 in the name. Is it a coincidence?
EDIT: I forgot I took screenshots. What the text said under the circle was badge_pokedex_entries_gen9_title.
I hate the idea of PokemonGo being connected to Apple Glasses. As an Android phone user, I can't see myself buying such glasses. Especially from Apple, who have a bad reputation for forcing you into their environment to use their products! And the price for such glasses will be at least 3 times higher than the cheapest android phone that supports the game.
Rocket Leader text in the appraisal screen sounds like something that could happen In Vegas: "Trainers who attend the event will be able to enjoy a Special Research story where they team up with Team GO Rocket (what?!) and exclusive Timed Research."

I said back in 2020 that Pokémon GO could appear in the Apple Event for those glasses. Like, I just don't know what else would they be able to show off that people would use in their daily lives.
But then again, those glasses have been apparently scrapped for now according to rumours, so we'll have to see. I will say though, Pokémon GO's AR features do work really well on my iPhone 14 Pro. Only issue is that the reality blending lacks the “blending” of it, should be called reality blocks instead xD

We need a feature where you can see other players when playing, like how waze is when your driving you can see other waze users passing by
While I'd, of course, love to see an XR Glass version of PoGo, I'd love to see Niantic introduce hand signals in maybe a slightly less AR-y fashion.... Could we maybe use them (via either the front facing camera, or another Soli attempt) to interact with the game rather than solely relying on the touch screen. For example, maybe I could twirl and then flick my finger to launch a curve ball. This could allow me to play in the middle of winter without having to take my gloves off (I still haven't found a legit pair of tech gloves that both consistently work and keep my fingers warm).

I think you're not fully aware of the repercussions of this. At first I thought this was a cool idea as well, but you always have to remind yourself that niantic is a greed ridden company and every feature implemented has a sinister intent behind it. With these contests, niantic wants us to stock up on all those otherwise meaningless xxl/xxs pokemon that you would normally just transfer without batting an eye, because now they have a use, contests. However, having to hold on to these pokemon also means that your effective pokemon storage which you would normally reserve for pokemon with great ivs, shadow pokemon, shinies etc. got even smaller, because now you also have to keep up with the contest relevant pokemon as well. And what does that mean? Right, you are forced to either make even more sacrifices with the pokemon you decide to keep and transfer OR you pay for storage upgrades, which is ultimately what niantic wants you to do.

this is exciting. i haven't felt compelled to play GO in a long time but I can't bring myself to uninstall it because i still hold out hope for it. I think the concept is great, and it sort of works well already but it always feels like it's a step below where we should be at

I find this after transferring a lot of very little and huge pokemon for being weak xD... imagine using an oculus, apple set, etc in public spaces, I live in Mexico, and I can only see coming that if you try to pull that you will be getting a knife or any type of weapon in the back and then having someone asking you to generously give it to them, that will not happen...

Let's be real the only reason there is no real copy cat game like this, is only because Niantic has the pokemon IP as we saw with Harry Potter or Picmin this game gets only carried because it has Pkmn...
Global trade, nest locator(similar to seeing nearby pokemon), Arceus, Battle league in the style of Original Pokémon games, Choose 3 random out of 6 and battle, pokecoin buff... the list goes on. These updates are trash. C Teir at best

Like most daily players likely know , if your running extremely low or have ran out of
Poké balls , you get 30 regulars from your daily incense (providing your low on balls or have none at all)
And though 30 isent exactly much… 😂 but it’s better than nothing…🤷🏽♂️ and a good cheesy free to play move 😂😂. But , I really think they should start doing’s subscriptions… and multiple too.
As it would work out for both parties , large amounts of people would likely buy on constant repeat along side the box’s and whatever else they obtain in shop , like think of ALLLLLL the pogo poké tubers that buy EVERY DAY….😂😩 having these other boxes and sub packages would just solidify a huge amount of money for niantic . so it would mean more money for them if done right , and other than actually figuring out a way to build it into the game code etc etc , it’s not exactly a rocket science type of idea….😂. Realistically, It’s completely basic…. Borderline basic…😂 it’s Just figuring out what goes inside the box and how it’s handled , what people use or done use and yeah… it’s not exactly hard when all the info is already out there.. and even given to us BY them😂🤷🏽♂️
