It's incredible and disturbing to me that CNN kept the formerly Teflon Dumb for as long as they did. I say this as a life-long Democrat who has never voted for a Republican and who agrees with 95% of the positions espoused by various CNN talking heads. He only seemed really comfortable speaking when he was chattering about himself or focusing on things like what music or trends he's into. The arrogance behind that smooth, "friendly" exterior was evident for years. He recently got into the habit of doing what he called a "humble brag" in which he would go on about this or that celebrity he's "friends with" and blah blah blah.
He was embarrassingly vapid. FOX is godawful, but people like Lemon at CNN have given great ammo to people on the right.
Recently, we learned that he was a bully boy with his co-hosts, that he belligerently preached on live TV about when women are past their prime, that he disparagingly said to an Indian-American guest "... whatever your ethnicity is," etc.
CNN is ultimately to blame for empowering and enabling such an imperious vacuity for so many years.
Sooo… I have a question… he made comments about women that I myself as a woman didn’t find offensive yet when others say things that are clearly not true like you can’t define a woman… we have to sit and take it?🧐 What?! Let me go back to the African side of YT… y’all ain’t got no sense over here!
