Get a new lr rim, raise it an inch so you dont wind up taking your front lip off when you drive home tipsy from applebees, and do a wrap and that thing would look 100x better
Lol one of my splitters already came off smh but yes I do agree with you but the height is truly fine but the way I drive; yeah I should probably raise it a bit.
Yo, those axle bolts are torque-to-yield, and should not be re-used as they can back out. Ask me how I know, I learned the hard way. Use new bolts and torque to spec.
I see the screws have three plates. Im wanting to do lowering springs on my A3 and I have to remove these screws as well. when putting the bolts and plates back, is there a specific way to lay the plates or do they all just overlap eachother ? thank you
When you first put them on in the back and it had that wild camber, did you fix that so the wheels are nice and flat so to say? I’m putting these in next week then what’s the procedure, installation, set height, perform alignment? I’m also a tech at vw but don’t know a lot about suspension yet
MotoTebbs I have not adjusted the camber, I actually like the way it is and plus a little camber is also good. As far as the procedure it pretty straight forward, I would start with the rear first cause they’re easier just disconnect the first 3 bolts I think it is plus the sensor. On the front don’t bang on it with a hammer like I did lol just spray a lot of penetrant oil and kinda pry it down and it’ll come out. It’s all pretty straight forward. They should already be pre set when you get then the front I left alone cause it was perfect to me but the rear I raised about half an inch maybe a bit more and I aligned the car 2 weeks after they fully settled.
Now out of the box are they all set to the same height setting? I’m planning directly just taking them out of box and into the car without touching any adjustments before installed
Not sure how high they max out, haven't raised them all the way. As far as maxing out low, they max out enough to tuck front and rear tires. Hopefully that answered your question
I just ordered some extreme lows and sheeeeh, after seeing this I’m excitedAF. Looks sick
heck yeah man ! congrats and I hope this video helps you for install
Nice ride!
Raise rear 20mm and front 10mm, looks sick, thanks for the vid 👍🏽
Drive _Vass I definitely did raise the rear but the front I left alone because it’s perfect to my standards.

It handles really good actually, now that ive completely fixed my pre load issues it rides even better

Blocc Boy sorry I’m late to responding but they’re extreme lows
Yo bro how high do you say these max out at? I got the same coils but I want it a little higher so that you can see the whole tire

how have these held up?
They’re still holding up great till this day, I still have no complaints with them at all. I get no noise at all and they still ride awesome
What spring rates are these and are they maxed out?
Nate Tompkins honestly I forgot off the top of my head but I believe they’re 10k and 12k
Nate Tompkins and no they aren’t maxed
