I am trans person who started transitioning at age 68. I have been on HRT thirteen and half months. I am in the process of laser hair removal. Works pretty well on my body. I have a lot of grey facial hair, so I will likely have to have electrolysis to completely get rid of my beard. My body has changed some, mostly the butt. Boobs, I would say a mid B cup. Hoping for more there. My hair is grow out, but I still struggle with male trait baldness. I have been doing minoxidil big time, derma-rolling, vigorous massage, rosemary oil. I have had some results from all that, especially on the top of my head. I am seriously considering a hair transplant. All and all I am glad for the changes I have seen, but still want much more. Given my age I feel I cannot expect a whole lot. I think about surgery, both FFS and GRS, but the courage and support for this is a challenge. I cut down on my therapy to twice a month rather than weekly. Therapy has been a big help in sorting it all out. I have no regrets with transitioning, even late in life. I accept I am trans-femme. I like men and would love to be passable. Not sure that is in the cards for me. I am a happier, more connected, better person. You mention about your transition ending. I had a debate with another trans-woman about this. She claimed it never ends. I am not sure, but I hope it does in some sense. The physical changes at the least have to plateau at some point. Sam, you are so cool and honest. It is great to see how real you are and comfortable with yourself. Curious, if you still are at Victoria's Secret. Maybe you will get to be a VP there someday. 😀 Luv ya. Keep up the good work and music! ❤
Sam, I just want to say thank you for all the help you've given me with your videos i just hit 5 months on HRT on Wednesday myself. I can't even believe I'm here now I was so close to ending it all at the end of 2022. your videos helped me explore/guided me on this journey From the first video I watched about what panties to buy to your HRT updates you've inspired me more than any other trans content creator ❤ congrats on this milestone and may you continue to inspire more people!
@user-pk7cr5bp7e^-^ awesome at least I'll die on the hormones that make me happy also I already responded to this dumbass copypasta bs on your other comment which is literally the same copy pasta here
You know Sam you inspire me a lot not sure if I'm ready for HRT or anything like that but at least in the fact of growing gorgeous locks I am on my way. If I can strive to be someone I emulate and you would be the basis for that I'm proud of you.
Not to brag but barring any unforeseen medical interference I will always have a luscious head of hair and I can't wait to grow it out and see. your hair is gorgeous
Im 18 and I start estrogen in a month, I'm so excited 😁 😆 and I'm so intreaged on the effects hormones has done for trans people knowing i will be going through that as well feels great 👍
2 years and 3 months in on E, plus some P. Got almost a solid A cup (compared to body size, on a smaller person that would be a B cup I am sure lmao), libido is.... really weird. emotions are weird too... Like, I get emotional easy and fast, but I don't feel much when it comes to my fiancee........ Fat is in the hips too, but excessive mass hides the actual change lmao. I do look thinner with unchanged body mass tho, even made one cis girl envious, that was so awesome to hear lol
I’m a two spirit person from Toronto. I have been for almost two years but I’ve taken no HRT. I’m always interested in a channel’s opinion on if they deem someone transgender even if they’re not on hormones. Maybe I’ll take some in the future but I just choose not to yet.
How do you keep your dude personalities with your female personalities. Personally like you I don't mind some of my more masculine personalities like my voice but I wish I was bit softer My masculinity is not very important to me but I don't feel like ever transition fully into a female I like the merger of the two how do I feel connection with your story
Being trans is about being your true self. Not transitioning fully fem or masc. Obviously some people's true self is fully fem or masc but there's no guideline to what makes you trans. I get so many comments saying "you should try to talk in a more fem way if you want to be a women" like yoo I'm just being me, just be yourself 💖
I get that people say that you should talk more feminine if you want to be a woman but that's not who you are I really do like that. Nobody can ever tell you who you are Sam keep up the good work and I'm going to be listening to your album
@@SamDowney everyone should be themselves. But being transsexual means you have gender dysphoria and you are changing your appearance to alleviate it. Why not just be a feminine man instead of altering your body?
@@dabigsqueezyWhy not? HRT is a multi-billion dollar industry. And the vast majority is testosterone for older men. The makeup industry is multi-hundred billion, and it's almost entirely cis women. With a makeup or hair styling video or whatever, would you ask about the creator's voice?

I totally think this guy is an imposter tbh
I prefer all my guys with breasts!
Are u supposed to look n sound different ?
First one to comment yeahhhh
So, this is as high as your voice is going to get? Unfortunate. Your speech, mannerisms, and energy are very masculine . Jsyk.
I like my voice ! Being trans isn't about passing its about being yourself !

estrogen doesn't affect the vocal chords
@@SamDowney it actually is about passing if you're really trans. If you like being yourself, why transition?
