Hi Nicole, your is looking amazing. Glad Maria Pina sent it to you and it bloomed for as well… Yay! Mines bloomed for the first time last year. Jewel Orchids do have beautiful shimmering leaves. I had a Macodes petola… but, it passed away. Be blessed. 🌸🌞👏👏👏😍

Thanks for the video! I have just started growing jewel orchids. I've only been growing them for about a month and really enjoy the beautiful leaves. I am looking forward to seeing your propagation video.

I saw jewel orchids for the first time at J&L yesterday. They would be so perfect for a terrarium setup. The one with a rattlesnake pattern wluld be nice in a rank with a reptile like an iguana. ☺️

It doesn't need a deep pot. I keep mine in a shallow terracotta pot. They only problem I am trying to fix is that the leaves are turning red. I am not sure if it because of lack of water or lack of fertilizer, or the oppisite. Too much water and too much fertilizer. I am have them under LED's
