I love the Bc little birds (Laelia harmill X B. nodosa) and am trying to find a Brassavola yaki (cucullata X nodosa) but they seem to be hard to come by.

I used to have about 20 or so orchids. Big Phals and Mini Phals only. Then 2019/2020 came, my daughter was taking care of them. She 😂 got fed up. Sprayed them all in the sink. Almost all died. There weren’t any places open to purchase them…the grocery stores didn’t stock them.

I MUST find the second plant, the dark pink! I don't know what I am going to do with mine either. I don''t have many but they currently grow under lights very well but space is at a premium. But I really love one that mi sister-in-law gave me. I think it's just white but the leaves look like they have white paint spattered on them. I have no idea what its name is because her plant was given to her. Anyway, than ks for sharing.

The Robert Muellers are so delicate and pretty. I may have bought one! lol I have a Cattleya. It’s called a Rby Copper Queen “Ruby Lip” HCC/AOS. It’s hard packed ugh, in Spagna 4” pot! It has a full size pseudo bulb, no flower yet and no growth from it. I assume All I need help on is approx how often should I water it? And yes the outside of the pot is green too. I did check the top very carefully and it has lots of roots and 6 growths.😊

Totally inexperienced with oncidiums, and you didn't say on the video, so how often should you water them?

"I'm going to be in trouble cause I'm gonna run out of space" haha, same here with Anthurium. I should thank the horrible mite infestation for making me throw out orchids (they just kept attacking the same plants) to give me some shelf space. Although now I have several that are starting to flower so I may be in trouble if I can make hybrids and I grow out the seeds.

Can you make a video on the self-watering square pots for hoyas? Is there a wick? What type of water do you use? How do you fertilize? How often do you change the water? Do you flush and on what schedule. Etc. I like the clean nature of the leca. Would like to learn more. Thanks.

I can hardly wait until mine blooms. I bought it in the summer of 2023 as blooming size, but it wasn’t quite big enough. It has grown a lot and I’m seeing a few sheaths so I’m hopeful that it will spike soon!

Hi Nicole- how do you handle spraying phals (or other monopodials) without getting water or insecticide in the crown and rotting it? I see the tip of my spike nibbled and places where I think the eggs are embedded. Also - do you think that spray can kill larva in the leaves also? I’m not familiar with spray on systemic - only the granular systemic that I use for aroids, etc. I tried it with orchids but it just fell/got washed out of the pot. As always, I appreciate you sharing your accumulated knowledge. 😊
