In small towns you will always find that the food prices are more expensive than in the city supermarkets. Your video bought back many happy memories of Norwegian cruise days on Pacific Princess a few years ago. Lovely, beautiful country, friendly people.

Loved seeing Sognefjord as you sailed into Skjolden. We visited it on Sky in August and your film was like re-living the experience. It is one of the most beautiful places we've ever seen. Thank you for the vlog.

We were having withdrawal symptoms from the Forrest of Dean accent so had to watch 😂 amazing scenery and also I have to say the ship has a fantastic Aft. The music on the sailing was on point. I love piano music. Great Vlog! Ps thanks for a cracking weekend this weekend 😊

Still cannot believe the weather you had; my husband keeps asking where your woolly hats are we had ours on the whole trip. Paul the cruise director has been on several cruises we have done out of Southampton, and he is one of the best cruise directors we have had.

Hello Paul & Carole just lovely scenery the ship seems to over power the town the view are similar to NZ fjords in the South Island been to Norway but not a cruise to the fjords. We have had loads of rain here in Sydney I hope the weather is better when you visit at Xmas.
Would love to cruise to New Zealand at some point as know we would love that too! Oh wow, yes hoping that stops by then!
Amazing sailing into Skjolden and you only got up early for a few minutes.
Shame on you, from what I remember even the Cruise Monkeys were out on the balcony around 5am same as us 😯😂

How big a difference does a balcony make for seeing sites from the ship? Can you see a lot on sea days, or are you so far out that you only see water?
Depends where you are. We love a balcony for some private outside space, so we can sit with a cocktail or a coffee whenever we want. Some people don't need that they just go up on deck, so it is up to you.
The number one reason that I am not booking a cruise on Princess, and believe me I want to because the itinerates around the UK and Norway look awesome, is the drinks package. When I settle in for an evening at a lounge, 15 isn't going to do it. I always do double starters and skip dessert. I see there was black pudding. Was it any good?
The Princess Package is great, lol you will just have to pay for the extra! The black pudding was very good!
Have these cruise lines given any indication as to what they're going to do when Norway bans non-electric powered ships from visiting the Fjords (is it as of 2026?)?
Not sure, from what we have read there both the Flåm fjord and the Geiranger fjord has already opened applications for cruise ships to dock at the harbour from 2026 but there has been no applications, as there are no ships with zero emissions.
Also Flam says that cruise tourists spend up to 25 million per year, so if that stops, local economy and businesses will be devastated. Certainly is a difficult one!
