Thoroughly enjoyed the conversation especially between Paul and Gav regarding that there is a cruise for everyone/dining code. It’s absolutely true, no matter how you want to dress, there are options for dining, and a cruise for everyone 🙂
Completely agree that it’s nice to get the messages telling you how you’ve influenced a cruise or that they liked what you were doing far more than the trolls pop up rarely.

Thank you for re-introducing The Cruise Monkeys! I’d forgotten about them so I’ll subscribe now!! What caught my ear was all wanting to cruise the Hawaiian Islands. I really don’t recommend doing that - going from port to port staying only < 24 hrs on each island. You cannot see all there is to offer from each island that way. Now if you are able to find a cruise ship to hop on hop off (is there one?), then I’d recommend staying on each island at least 5 days. I lived on Kauai for >15 years and we would of course fly to each island on vacation, rent a car, stay in hotels (pre-Airbnb) and explore the island. Lots of hiking and beach-hopping to be had!!! Best of luck re that! 🌴🏖⛱🏝☀️
Agree it would be great to combine a cruise with stays on the different islands too!

Right then. We went on Aurora in 2017 and then again the early May 2022 trip with Guernsey as the highlight. We loved being back on her. She’s a beautiful ship and perfect for her size. Can’t believe we didn’t see the Cruise Monkeys on there. Loved watching the videos and “reliving” “our” cruise. Great seeing you four together.

I loved cruising to Alaska. If you dare, take the helicopter ride. I was kind of scared at first but really loved it!

Fantastic interview guys, absolutely loved it. There is some really good advice here and somethings that really hit home to us as aspiring content creators on You Tube. Funny how things work.. no clue whom these Cruise Monkeys were .. until I watched this Video (you've mentioned them here and there in your VLOGS but seeing them chatting with you and answering questions made me go look them up ;-)) so going to check the Cruise Boys VLOGS out on You Tube next.. things I'm finding on my Binge watching!! Each of you have a different approach and expectations of a cruise (different experiences and expectations for each of you) .. so if I pick a ship then watch each of the following VLOGer's Vids for same ship.. (Ben & David, Gary Bembridge, Emma, Sean & Staff, and few more) I really get a true sense of what to expect.. seeing it from different perspectives allows me to piece together wether the cruise is for me or not :-) Nice done.. ALL of you.. and Thank you Carole and Paul for doing these one on ones.. perfect..

Any chance you guys might invite people from other genres in RUclips that are similar such as vanlife ? I just think having travel trolls on , or John and mandy or the urban motorhomer on could be some really unique content . Just a thought. I absolutely loved this video . Keep up the work ! Carole you look lovely in a dress! I would disagree: first cruise with Princess on the Royal was awful the staff was apathetic! And recently just went to Alaska on the same ship and it was wonderful. But, if it hadn't been for a future cruise credit due to a drastic itinerary change I would never have sailed with Princess again! I would say - respectfully - for vloggers to watch out for repetition. I don't need another vlog on how to pack.
Thanks! Agree can work both ways, we had a fabulous first experience on Regal Princess, then a not so good one, mainly tech issues. Princess can be great! Not planning on a packing video at this time LOL! 😂

We hate dressing up, we do t have those type of clothes and as we fly from Canada, and often go for 3-4 weeks total and have gifts for family, we do t have room for them either. I have to wear orthotics which only fit into walking solid shoes, dressing up is a pain and i have to wear my walking shoes. Plus we do not like the buffet much either. I find it all rather pretentious.
Definitely not for everyone!
Half way through a 2 week Midnight Sun cruise on Sky Princess...I tested positive and now isolated for a week. My wife may join me soon. Princess issued a directive just 2 days into the cruise about mask wearing and social distancing but have not enforced any rules. The theatre had been jam packed every night...80% not wearing masks and no seats marked to not use, no announcements to wear masks, and lifts packed. Why issue a directive and do nothing. I am bitterly disappointed with Princess.
Oh no can totally understand your frustrations! Are they doing additional testing on board or did you test because of symptoms?

Hi both, i had aches and shivers and a bad night on Saturday so felt the need to get tested. We have been wearing masks. It's awful as I have never had Covid and put my trust in Cruise Lines. People just won't do as they are told unless strong orders are put in place. Sadly that didn't happen. My wife asked if there were a lot of cases on ship and was told yes. So it must have been picked up on the first port of call. Surely an announcement telling people Covid is on ship will make people behave more responsibly?
Instead the ship is just letting it spread around doing nothing to control it.
I have waited 3 years to do a big cruise, and this has seriously put me off, after 22 years of cruising and 26 cruises.
Yes crazy that they are not policing it and announcing to make passengers adhere to the rules. So sorry to hear this!
Wow. I’m on the same cruise. First I’ve heard of anyone getting COVID but it’s no surprise. Very few people are masking and certainly not social distancing. I’m so sorry you’re missing out.
The captain just announced that there are passengers and crew quarantined with COVID and they are requiring masks in all public spaces except when eating or drinking.
