List of confirmed Kang Varients in the Post Credits Scene:
Immortus: The oldest and most experienced variant of Kang and the man Nathaniel Richards is destined to become. Currently the leader of the Council of Kangs.
Rama-Tut: The first iteration of Nathaniel Richards ever seen in the comics. Former Pharaoh of Egypt that would eventually be defeated by the Fantastic Four and supplanted by Apocalypse.
Scarlett Centurian (now Centurian): The character Nathaniel Richards became after being defeated by the Fantastic Four. Had a short-lived career in the comics but was an “ally” of Dr. Doom.
Victor Timely: Early 20th-century business tycoon/politician closely connected to Howard Stark and Phineas Horton.
Mr. Gryphon: A 21st-century business tycoon that’s heavily involved in major business operations across the U.S., currently the CEO of Qeng Enterprises.
He Who Remains: The Kang variant that was introduced in episode six of Loki.
The Council Of Cross-Time Kangs: Self-explanatory.

I can’t wait til see see Kang Prime. I hope we see Rama-Tut in a S2 of Moon Knight or in the Fantastic 4 movie. I also wouldn’t mind F4 being set in the 60s, ending with them being trapped in the Negative Zone.
I’d love for Doctor Doom to be teased in a post-credits scene, then get a Books of Doom Disney+ series with him as the protagonist showing or at least setting up his villain origin story.

I've seen this a couple of times but I just realized that the "tap" in "jump and tap" refers to tapping the button to change size, not making contact with the enemy. Like how Scott learned to jump through the keyhole in the first movie, he's explaining how to be the right size at the right time with the right density/momentum to hit the opponent hard.

You know, now that you mention the Ten Rings…Kang taking that energy from that laser beam head dude, changing its color and sending it back reminds me of Shang Chi and how he took the rings from his dad and changed the colors. Interesting thought.
This Kang could be dead, but he could definitely still be alive, but just sucked into some other dimension. Maybe the other Kangs can’t sense/track him in said dimension, so they believe he’s dead. Possibly.
Last thing, Kang never actually elaborated what he “saw at the end.” Just had the source of “believe me bro.”

Yes The Council of Kang came way before hand, first back in ‘86 where it was just 3 Kangs then in ‘88 with the Council of Cross-Time Kangs that look more like the post credit version. Both groups are lead by Kang Prime. This has since become a trend with the Council of Reeds, Council of Draculas, Council of Guardians of All Galaxies, Council of Spider-Women and Council of Red, it’s only the first and last on that list actually being of any real interest.

I legit thought you guys either skipped or watched it in your own time. So I’m glad you guys are checking it out.
Scott’s book is actually something you can preorder now. It’ll hit shelves early September.
My favorite funny moments were Scott’s audiobook, Quaz’s powers, “M.O.D.O.F.K.”, Veb running with the pack, and the Quantumnaut with the bridge code.
Three things in particular that I liked about this film:
1.) Scott and Hope now have portable suits.
2.) No matter the situation, Scott’s driving force is his daughter Cassie. All of the possible Ant-Men including Baskin Robbins Scott formed an ant hill to help OG Scott fulfill his goal.
3.) The final fight between Scott/Ant-Man vs. Nathaniel/Kang gave us an idea of how dangerous one Kang can be. Now imagine a multitude…
They didn’t say her codename, but Cassie in her suit is known as Stature. I feel like the citrus scene is a callback to Scott needing orange slices after getting a double whammer from Iron Man and War Machine.
We didn’t get to see Scott’s friends in this movie, but Veb was portrayed by David Dastmalchian - the same actor who portrayed Kurt.
Jentorra was portrayed by Katy O’Brian, the same actress who portrayed Kimball in Agents of SHIELD season 7 and Elia Kane in The Mandalorian.
Janet reminded me of both Jemma and Jen/She-Hulk. Both of them were women with needs. By the way, Jemma was stuck on Maveth for six months, two weeks, and two days.
Parts of this movie gave me Star Wars, Guardians, TRON: Legacy, and Avatar vibes all at once.
The first post-credit scene showcases the Council of Kangs. The three variants that spoke in order of appearance were Rama-Tut, Centurion, and Immortus.
There was one variant who teleported wearing a suit and tie. He’s known as Mr. Gryphon.
This paves the way to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
I heard rumors about a second season of Moon Knight in the works. If it’s true, Rama-Tut might be the next main villain.
As for the second post-credit scene, I don’t know if Victor Timely is a member of the council and I definitely don’t know if Mobius regained his memories or not, but for now I’ll take comfort knowing he and Loki are working together again.
Loki season 2 drops on Friday, October 6 which is the same day Kraven the Hunter will premiere.
They also announced that Maya Lopez’ solo series Echo will premiere on Wednesday, November 29. All episodes are expected to drop that day.

My main issue was that being in the quantum realm the whole time kept us from getting the sense of scale we got in the first two movies. It made sense from the direction the story was going, but when nothing is real, it's tougher to tell what size they are at any given time.

    • @hirvale
      @hirvale Год назад +1

The problem isn't that they're taking their time with Kang in this movie, the problem is that everything else is luck luster. It's a large scale movie that fails to deliver on its scale while the previous ant-man movies tell a small scale story that's fun and works

  • @TheGreater-ScopeVillain
    @TheGreater-ScopeVillain Год назад +5

Although they're currently framing the threat named "Kang" to be the sheer number and diversity of Kang variants across the multiverse led by the Council of Kangs, rather than any one single Kang, I don't think they'll be the ultimate threat. After all, there is only one *_"MAIN"_* Kang the Conqueror, and he was in this movie. Yes, he got sucked up into his Multiversal Engine Core at the end, but that's not an onscreen death that is definitive. The Council of Kangs claims that "the exiled one" is dead, but they could simply be wrong and not know it. If Darren Cross/Yellowjacket/M.O.D.O.K. can survive a similar fate, Kang the Conqueror certainly can.
What separates this movie's Kang the Conqueror as the *_"main"_* Kang compared to all the others is that he is clearly the most dangerous and influential of them all. After all, the entirety of the Council of Kangs could not actually kill him; the most they could do was sabotage his Time Ship (depriving him of most of his resources) and trap him in the one place that could hold him: the Quantum Realm. They knew this was the only way they could stop him as none of them could take him in fight directly. As Kang said: *_"They're afraid of me."_* If all the other Kangs are afraid of this one, then you know he's the most dangerous of them all.
Plus, this Kang also revealed himself to be the one who started the Multiversal War in the first place, and took control of the Multiverse from his variants who he saw as playing with time like children. We saw Kang in this movie at his weakest in every aspect. Even at the climax of the movie, his forces and resources were likely nothing compared to what he had at the height of his power in the Multiversal War. Additionally, Kang alluded to his past and that Janet had *_"no idea what [he had] lost,"_* and that he would burn the Council of Kangs out of time for what they did to him. All of this points to the possibility that this Kang will return later (likely around the time of Avengers: Kang Dynasty) to take his place as the one true main villain of the Multiverse Saga, potentially having gained spacetime powers or something from his Multiversal Engine Core, thus becoming the MCU's version of The Beyonder for Avengers: Secret Wars.

    • @morning_star-616
      @morning_star-616 Год назад +3

My Theory is that when the Avengers are fighting the Council of Kang in Kang Dynasty that Kang the Conqueror will be watching from the distance and will only appear at the end when either side is weakened and will try to wipe them all out and probably tries to break the Multiverse, which would set off the next Avengers story, Secret Wars

  • @Ghost8386

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania' I enjoyed this movie. I loved Alice in Wonderland, Barbarella, Dune, Flash Gordon, Heavy Metal, Honey, I Shrunk the Kid, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Star Wars, Thor: Ragnarok, and The Wizard of Oz, influences in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. Since 1987 I have been a fan of Ant-Man. Since 1993, I have also been a fan of Kang the Conqueror. Kang's armor is "neurokinetic" and reacts to his thoughts in nature. This is precisely how Kang's battle suit is portrayed whenever Kang appears in the Avengers or Fantastic Four comics. I also loved the faithful recreation of The Council of Kangs from Avengers #292. I had no issues with how they handled Kang the Conqueror in this movie. In the comics, Kang has been defeated many times, but he keeps coming back due to the endless combinations of variations and the fact that no hero has ever killed him yet. If anyone has the ability to kill Kang the Conqueror, it's not the Marvel superhero but himself. Due to the rules of time travel and the multiverse, Kang the Conqueror conflicted with past and future versions of himself and his variants. Kang and his variants are often at war with each other and have killed or destroyed each other. However, a version of Kang will always be in an endless multiverse. Kang's two biggest rivals are Immortus, an older version of Kang from the future who hates his childhood self.

Janet being the hero, "Oh, you are killing people!" All of that sh!t, and Kang is over there like, "Oh, that doesn't matter."
No BS, at the final part of the Multiversal Saga people will be routing for Kang, or saying that Kang is right, like as Kang said, and the other versions of him and those things, they will destroy the timelines, or the incusions will destroy the Universes and timelines anyway, so there is no real way to save the people that Janet mentions, because they are all going to die anyways, and so they would be left with, "it's either they die, or everyone dies," kind of situation, where sacrificing a few lives and universes means and ensures the survival of everyone else, or at least save as much as can be saved, because in this situation with Kang and the incursions and all that not everyone can be saved.

Mark 1:59. Howdy! 🤠 I read and liked some comments before I started. Rana, looking good! 😎👍 The middle guy reminds me of Paul Rudd but with a different haircut!
Michelle Pheiffer? Instead of taking an arrow to a knee as if she were in "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" as a city guard, she took an arrow or a crossbow bolt, to her left breast in a movie called "Ladyhawk"! Saving her was one of the quests involved. But I first became aware of her in "Grease 2"! I intend to eventually see "Grease" too! She's the school teacher in the movie verson of "Dangerous Minds" while Annie Potts played the same role in the regular broadcast television series version. 😀 Then I lost track of her after seeing her photograph as "Catwoman" in the movie named "Catwoman" starring Halle Barry. It was part of the history of women that have been "Catwoman" akin to the "Ships Named 'Enterprise'" scene in "Star Trek: The Motion Picture". There's a wall of all of "Charlie's Angels" in the first movie of the same name.
But anyway, I don't think I'm ready to view this video after all. I'll need to view it later. Bye for now! 😊

Even though I truly believe some of the criticism this movie got was valid, most of it was the bandwagon kind of hate we've seen lately. And the rest I'm sure it's because US critics (the first to watch the movie) heard Michael Douglas mention "socialism" and peed their pants. XD The humour was okay, you can't just complain about a Marvel movie having too much "cringe humour" these days when it's the same thing that made these films popular in the first place. The effects weren't as amazing as in other projects? That's valid criticism. Marvel should force Disney to put on the break every once in a while and work for longer in these projects. As for the rest, it was still the best Ant-Man movie imo. The first two were ok, this one is also ok. Not the best, but not bad either. And for me it sets up Kang (the other Kangs at least) in such an amazing way in the end. And the not-so-hidden anti-capitalist message was something I really enjoyed (and that deviated a little from most Marvel, MCU, Disney and Hollywood projects, it was a nice twist).

Mark 42:22. That should change history some! In "Doctor Who" Tom Baker's version felt compelled to use the illegal "Demat Gun"! Once he used it, he still had the weapon, but he didn't know why he had it because of the paradox of the target never existing!
In the official "DC Heroes RPG" so much damage can happen that if someone's or something's Hit Points exceed the set negative limit, they cease to exist!
In one confrontation, one of the player's characters had gained possession of that "Demat Gun" to use it against "The Blob" from the first movie. 😳 But unlike with The Doctor, he was able to remember because of his "Reality Check" Power! Although I had changed the circumstances so that the confrontation never happened, as per the game rules.
Someone had been viewing the movie on VHS 📼 and their Powers, akin to "Tabitha Stephens" using her little Witchcraft Magic to interact with storybook characters. The person was unaware that he had such powers. 😅

I thought this movie was way too harshly criticized. It's not a top tier MCU movie, but it's still good. I thought one of the established characters should've died to help drive home how serious Kang was/is. I almost always find it funny when people complain about how realistic things we've never seen in real life look or don't look. The quantum realm isn't supposed to look like Earth. They don't have the same light sources, they don't need to have Earth analogs. The "people" can look like Monsters Inc and it's fine bc it's a realm most people can't even conceptualize. It SHOULD look like you're tripping.
MODOK was weird and unpleasant to look at, but also uncomfortably funny, so I'm not as mad as some people were about his character (I also don't have much reference to him in the comics, so I had no expectations). I was disappointed we didn't get Michael Pena, TI, and David Dastmalchian, though.
Also, that Kang isn't dead. I thought it was pretty obvious that the Kang in the second after credits scene was the Kang throughout the movie.

I think the problem some people have is that it took years to build up to the the council of Kang in the comics so to get there in a short time is kind of disappointing to some. Considering that he claims that he’s killed many characters. In the comics they can expand on the individual Kang and tell that version but technically we only gotten two out of the infinity version of the character and a lot of people aren’t satisfied because it was a short time versus the comics that took years to flush out this character.
