    That entire game I refused to let myself get too excited. Everyone knew the skill, and what sometimes felt like luck, of the Pats and I always had that bad feeling that they would somehow fight back. One other friend of mine was a true Eagles fan at the viewing party while the rest were neutral or pats. The minute the balk hit the ground my friend was screaming and clapping my back and I refused to react until I saw the FINAL letters pop up. I just remember covering my face and crying for a good minute until I went outside to call my family. Girlfriend got my entire reaction on camera. Best moment I’ve ever felt in sports. No win will ever feel as good as that one.

      I hear ya, when we got the ball back after the Patriots took the lead, I was praying like I never prayed before. Hands clasped that entire drive, and when we got the touchdown, I saw the ball pop up and had that sick feeling that this was the moment we were gonna get screwed out of another Super Bowl. I prayed even harder when they were reviewing it, and when they said that it was good, I was so relieved that we got it.
      After the failed two point attempt, I was hoping that we'd force a turnover and we got that with the forced fumble. My mom and brother were already crying from that, but I said that no tear will be shed until the game is over. After kicking the field goal, it felt like the longest minute I've ever seen. Brady converted first down after first down and got close enough for the Hail Mary. As soon as that ball hit the turf, I was screaming and basked in the win. I didn't cry until the Lombardi Trophy made its way to the stand for our team to hoist in victory.

    As someone who's never been married and has no kids, the final whistle on this game was the single greatest moment of my life, hands down.
    And while I have nothing but respect for Chris Berman, I feel like he should have at least called Philly's kicker by the right name (11:47). Like I know dude's a rookie, but come on. It's late in the Super Bowl and he's really fucking good.

    how everyone missed the fumble at 8:20 by Amendola ? if you watch the game with sound... that ball is OUT before the whistle

    • @anthonybonanni446
      @anthonybonanni446 6 лет назад +2

      McLeod's foot was out of bounds

    • @chazzlucas6395
      @chazzlucas6395 6 лет назад

      that does not matter .. he just can't recover it

    • @anthonybonanni446
      @anthonybonanni446 6 лет назад +5

      chazz Lucas nope, his hand stripped the ball and any contact with the football from a player simultaneously out of bounds ends the play

    • @anthonybonanni446
      @anthonybonanni446 6 лет назад +1

      Conker Squirrel McLeod's foot was on the line when he stripped it, that is not legal. If any part of the ball is touching out of bounds, or touching a player who is touching out of bounds, the play is over. You can't cause a fumble from the sideline, that's essentially what happened.

    • @Conker.
      @Conker. 6 лет назад +1

      Anthony Bonanni Naa, McLoed was back inbounds when he stripped the ball out, then stepped back out after the ball was on the turf. You can see when the ref ends the play because he puts his arms up in the air when he thinks Amendola touches the ball while his butt is on the turf partly out of bounds,
      but there's no view of him actually touching the ball after he lost it. Philly might have won if they challenged it.

    Think about all those 4th down conversions we successfully made... if we didn't get those we probably would have lost! Even now in Mid season of 2018 it feels like a dream still because usually I'm used to dealing with the whole division constantly attacking us with 0 ring jokes! Thank you Doug Peterson, Nick Foles, Alshon Jeffery and the whole Philadelphia Eagles for making our Dream Come True! I don't care if it took 52 years! (28 years for me) but damn it was well worth the wait LOL

    Seriously Brady threw for fucking 505 yds and 3tds, broke records and still lost this game because of Belicheks defense. Belicheck owed Brady this SB win over the rams.

    Holy shit. Steve young thought they should throw on 2nd down with 2:03 left? Ladies and gentlemen, i present the atlanta falcons who used the "in field goal range, but throw and get sacked and lose fg range with a chance to best the pats."

      Mary Lobb Correction. The PATRIOTS lost. Despite what you believe, Brady is not the only person on the team. Football is a TEAM sport. This is not a boxing match between only the QBs.

      TheKuroiSheep but when the Patriots win the Superbowl...who gets mvp? Oh that's right Brady, so when they win he gets the mvp but when they lose it's not his fault cause it's a team sport. Got it. That's a flawed logic that we all fall for.

    • @TheKuroiSheep
      @TheKuroiSheep 6 лет назад +1

      Bird Gang No. The SB MVP is nothing more than a popularity contest. Brady won SB MVP in XXXVI despite not doing much (145 yds passing, 1 TD) at all but since he's QB he won it. The QB almost always wins SB MVP when other players deserve it more. In XXXVI a defender like Bruschi or Law should've won it. Not being biased or anything. I'm merely all about team play, since you know football is a team sport. There are how many players on each team? Isn't just 1 is it? Thought so
