100%. Richard Hill is the fashionable name to say and for good reason, it's true he was bloody good. but Greenwood made the link beween Wilko and the backline. He could hit a line, pass, truck it up, tackle. He was the man. If he had pace he'd have been devastating!

@J G what a sad twat you are commenting on rugby vids about footy. Fan of both but rugby is a better sport. Football is full of cheats, diving and rolling around as if they've been shot.

Of all the world cup finals, this was the one that was special, this was every true rugby fan's dream game! Extra time, non stop action and that moment at the end! Just pure rugby bliss!
Wth hindsight England missed so many scoring opportunities - a try (with more than likely conversion to follow), a conversion on Robinson's try and 4 drop goals - a grand total of 21 points!! The Final wouldn't have been the same had England won by over 20 points in 'normal time' though!!
Excellent stuff, thanks. Right at the end in the medal giving - “The Prime Minister was practically throwing them at us ... under pressure from the TV scheduling.”!

This bloody referee was SO anti England, I’m still amazed to this day that England could overcome him and win. This was an exceptional rugby team. 1 for the ages.
At the Australian mini-break at 10:45, the trust Lewsey has in Wilkinson that he’s going to cover the ground and make the tackle on Larkham so that he (Lewsey) can change focus onto Tuqiri is mega. Imagine having that much faith in your number 10 as a tackler.
@@JamesSmith-qr7be He said the best *defensive* flyhalf ever, not the *best* ever (and even then, it is debatable whether Dan Carter really is or not: JPR Williams, Barry John, Mark Ella, Stephen Larkham, Jonny Wilkinson, and Daniel Carter could all be considered so). But Wilkinson is undoubtedly the best - and hardest - tackling number 10 in the history of the sport, as well as having one of the most reliable boots. In his pre-injury peak, playing for England between 2000-2002, he was also as dangerous an attacking flyhalf as any. I say this as a Scot.
@@feliscorax hahaha I meant best defending 10.
