Our tap water was contaminated with fluoride and chlorine, so I decided to get a really good RO system that came with an alkaline filter. Decided on the APEC ROES-PH75. The TDS level of our unfiltered water here in north FL was around 600 ppm, it is pretty bad! No one drinks tap water here unless they have a death wish. The filtered water reads at around 19 ppm, which is simply fantastic! The terrible taste of the water is also completely gone! I highly recommend the APEC water filtration systems in general!
I got the Brondell Circle because I did not a really complicated RO system, I just needed something that would filter the water and be easy to install. The Brondell does the job perfectly while looking slick as well. Granted, since its under the sink no one cares whether it looks good or not but I actually appreciate the way it looks, compared to other RO systems that look like a science project. This one is neat, tidy. Installation is super easy, instructions are very easy to follow. And the faucet looks really classy, unlike the generic faucets that come with other RO systems.
The APEC RO water filtration system works great but I just wanted to point out how good their customer support is. I had a missing piece, so I called the number that was written in the instruction manual. Less than a minute after, I was talking with a real human being who was telling me what piece am I probably missing! That is spectacular customer service right there! And the worst part is that I actually found the part later, it got behind the dishwashing detergent! The water tastes awesome, havent done any tests like many people are doing but I just like how it tastes and I find that gives me enough confidence to trust this filtration system! Oh, and I also love the faucet that comes with the set, beautiful brushed steel!

Even though the iSpring system is a very comprehensive one, the installation was dead simple! All you have to is follow the instructions, no need to pay the plumber 100 bucks in my opinion! And I am not a handyman, not at all. I am pretty bad at DIY stuff actually, but this was really easy to do. As far as the system itself goes, it is still working great after 2 years. Our water tap water is really contaminated here in MI so I knew inline filters would not cut it. But I also did not like how RO strips the water of all the beneficial minerals, so I wanted one with an alkaline filter. This system is cheaper than most pure RO systems and it includes an alkaline filter, and that is what I call a good deal!
Some people don't mind paying for something they have no interest in messing with such as car brake pads, simple enough but I'll pay no problem. BTW $100 will only get me inside your door, there's always issues in a house all you need to do is look.
The Woder WD is exactly what we were hoping for. The water now still has all the minerals we were wanting, but the taste and anything else bad are gone! So easy to install and worked like a dream!
Was looking for the water filter that could be installed easiest, as I was tired of replacing filters for Britta that never last as long as they claim. The Woder WD10K came to the rescue. Incredibly easy to install, took like 20 minutes. Now I will have clean water for 10,000 gallons!
After trying out a 3 stage reverse osmosis system, we were left a little bit disappointed because even though the TDS levels were considerably low, the water tasted really bland. Like distilled water almost, we did not like that at all. So we started looking into RO systems that included a pH filter, thinking this would solve our problems. Well, happy to say that after using iSpring for more than a year, it is the answer! Water tastes fantastic, both me and my wife are very serious about our water, and this has lived upto the standard!
What ispring model did you get?
I have a masters in chemical engineering and own a company that builds large water treatment systems, including reverse osmosis. If you have some question regarding water feel free to ask. Personally, I don't use a water filter.
Do you know if I can add an UV light to the APEC RO filtration system afterwards?
You technically can, but it would be a hassle in my opinion. It would be best to get a UV filtration system from the beginning, but this is my opinion of course!

Hello and thanks for watching the video! Unfortunately, you cant install it to a ⅜” pipe. The Woder WD10KJG can be installed to a ¼” or ⅛” pipe. Hope I was able to help you out!
What is the expelled water ratio for each gallon of clean water for the iSpring RO system?
Excellent question, really important indeed! The ratio is 1:2, so for each gallon of clean water, 2 gallons of dirty water are expelled down the drain. Thanks for watching the video!
So it says Brondells filters need to be changed quite often, but its easy to do. What kind of filters do I need to change and how often?
3 of the reverse osmosis filters have to be changed every 6 months, no matter how much water you have used. The RO membrane filter has to be changed in 24 months interval. They are incredibly easy to change though!
Considering the chlorine in the water of our town, I wanted an RO system right away. I think the claim about RO stripping the water of minerals is just an urban myth, so I wasnt looking for an RO with an alkaline filter. The water that is filtrated by the Brondell Circle is slightly acidic, with a pH of around 6.4. I dont mind it at all, and I dont think the water tastes bland. I think it tastes like it should be tasting, it is water after all! The TDS levels have decreased significantly, with untreated water being at 280 ppm. After filtration, the TDS levels are around 23, which is highly acceptable. My previous 3 stage RO only got 32, so kudos to Brondell. My only complaint is the cost of filters. They are asking for 60$ dollars for a set of filters that have to replaced every 6 months. This is simply too expensive in my opinion. But since this is my only complaint, I can live with it.
