Ok... Thats what I love about Ben's speech and Eon's goal. Ben talks about how dispite having pure omnipedence with Alien X. He chooses not to over use him out of fear of people looking at him like a god instead of a hero. Also in several ways not end up like Eon.
Cause the Cronians did the exact same thing and look what happpend to them...
He also gives a great point that just fixing everything with a snap would not be life at all. Also as Ben put it...
No one should ever have that kind of power, not even heroes.
Cause no matter the motives or intentions, over time, Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutly. Always...
Eon on the other hand is the complete opposite, he want that exact thing that Ben rejects.
It shows how much Ben and Eon are perfect parallels to each other.
Also, I've read the comic already and spoilers....
Ben's addversion to Godhood is proven 100% right with Eon's plan.
All that I would say is some people are watching this motion comic for the first time before reading the actual comic so I wouldn’t go out of your way to spoil it in the comments.

Best damn episode so far, man that was such a nostalgia trip
This episode was absolutely sick. Ben's speech about why he shouldn't use Alien X was imo, absolutely perfect. He has genuinely good points about why he shouldn't and it ties back to previous moments in the series very well, like how he gave up Ascalon. Also soundtrack is still going hard. Loved how there was a subtle bit of the Generator Rex motif when Technus mentioned nanites, fantastic touch honestly. And Kevin casually using his DNA abilities? That's awesome. I see bits of Cannonbolt in there, not sure what else though.
Also you guys actually got Paul Eiding to voice Max here!? That is actually incredible, 10/10.
There was also another reason that Ben doesn't want to use Alien X that isn't in the Ben 10 series but is part of the 5YL lore,

Love thinking about that the only thing that makes Prime stronger in the countless multiverse is that he literally has plot armor becasue of the way stories work but in the actual story it makes him seem out to be a part of some greater universal singnificance.

I really love how there’s a genuine reason Ben never uses Alien X and it makes a lot of sense, being a god and relying on it can be sickening.
Keeping him for situations of absolute last resort makes him an actually big deal like how Ben uses Way Big

I like how despite Ben's arrogant nature he's actually more humble then people believe. He knows he's not a God and it's not his right to treat the universe like his own personal play thing. If he used Alien X to stop every crisis with a snap of his fingers everyone in the universe wouldn't see him as a hero but as some Godlike Messiah. Which is something he doesn't want because he knows absolute power corrupts.

First off: HOLY SHIT! YOU ACTUALLY SNAGGED PAUL EIDING?!?!? Y'all've done incredible work bringing these characters to life, original and familiar alike, and I expected Max to be one of yours doing yet another killer job reviving another pivotal character, but no, IT'S THE MAN HIMSELF!
Also: It's nice to see Ben get the development he deserves, actually thinking about the ramifications of his god-like power and struggling with it instead of reverting to his recursive childishness in a deciding moment and jumping straight to THE powerhouse to sweep the board decisively. And not just internalize his struggle, but open up and explain it to everyone who thinks doing what he usually does is the right play.

Definitely one of the best episodes so far. Goes to show you don't need a lot of action to be entertaining and meaningful. The conversations between Ben and Grandpa Max, as well as Danny and Rook, were really sweet to watch, the heroes being supported in their time of need.
I also really like the parallels between Eon and Vlad's chat when compared to Ben and Danny's. How the aliens are trying to encourage the ghosts of their true potential, and how they need them to recognize that potential in order to help the formers deal with each other, more so in Eon's case because Ben has defeated him in the past without Danny's aid.
Speaking of which, I've always been puzzled about how Ecto-Energy is depicted here. I knew from the second I heard it was an omniversal energy that can fvk with aliens, let alone Celestialsapiens, I knew it would be controversial, to say the least. Even I myself, when I first came across this series, was skeptical on how Danny could be considered Ben's "equal," let alone his supposed "superior." That's not anything against Danny at all, nor do I necessarily disagree with your reasoning on why Danny, and by extension, all ghosts from his universe, could compete and maybe surpass the aliens of Ben's universe, let alone him. I've caught up with Danny Phantom and seen some of the crazy things ghosts can do in that show, even if you were to tweak the "cartoon logic" aspect of it to be realistic. I'm just saying that if it weren't for that "handicap" so to speak, Danny and Vlad wouldn't be able to do much against Ben as of now since Ben most definitely has aliens in his arsenal that can deal with their ghostly abilities.
I don't know if anyone else has made the connection yet, but just to put it out there, Ecto-Energy is like a more powerful and transcendent version of Kryptonite: An energy source harmful to alien life that is usually green, but can be a rainbow of different colors, as well as come from a unique place of existence. It is kinda funny when you think about it. The heroes and villains' "normal" powers don't work, so they had to "raise the dead" to fight their battles: "Fvk it, all this extraterrestrial shit isn't working, let's use necromancy!" Kinda puts that Charmcaster thing into perspective.
Anyways, it was an amazing episode, I especially loved the extra bits with the ghosts appearing during Eon's explanation and Rook looking over to Danny and vice versa. Can't wait for Risen. Keep up the good work!
Edit: It's pretty cool you got Paul Eiding to voice Max here. The other voice actors are great, but having one of the OGs' here helps give it another level of authenticity that fan projects don't usually get.

In a later chapter, we actually get to see the nanites themselves in full display, completely proving it even more.
As a classic ben fan, this really feels like all the other cartoon's universes belong together and feel like everyone has an integral role. This is such a great series and feels like a hug

Those poor Bens... look almost like... EVO's.
You know, and I hope at least one of the crew sees this, I wondered how Ben and Danny can do a sort of power-up thing like how Upgrade and Rex did way back when and then it hit me; The Omnitrix is sentient, it's more than just a device, if Danny possesses it, instead of possessing Ben, then what happens next is Ben dialing up an Alien and getting a Ghostly Power Boost; it wouldn't have made sense for Ghostfreak to possess Danny nor Danny to possess any of Ben's transformations, but possessing the watching?
I guarantee that be a wild card gambit, possibly an all or nothing, but it sure would look cool if it paid off.
Ecto-energy just feels like a "Physical" manifestation of this worlds Toon force. The way its described does feel like that.
Its just the same as my ben prime comment.

Can we just give the Ink Tank the freaking respect, adoration and praise they deserve for not only makeing this awesome comic that is filled with references, growth, new charachters and everything in between. Not only getting this team to together to make this comic but animate and voice it too. Including all that I would like to especially give y’all a standing ovation for doing all this while keeping Phantom Planet cannon. Everyone in the Phandom (as far as I can tell) hates that episode and just ignores it. However, y’all came together and made something awesome!

It blew my mind that something so common in a universe is basically capable of bending Gods and even defeating Alien X, and in a way, it seems like the best way to create another "Big house member."
Even if Alien X will always be the most powerful Alien, he ultimately has a weakness, and that weakness is not infallible, but it exists, and even if Ben could access to this form, it does not guarantee an omnipotent power at first, it is a raw power that seeks to be dominated.
Ben has the power of a God, but Vlad has the chance to kill him with a bullet, but only if he has the chance. And again, it's not infallible ""You might be able to kill a Celestialsapien, but it doesn't mean I can't kill you," is basically what Eon said.
Plus, it also gives Danny an advantage as co-protagonist, even if Ben is one of the most powerful beings in the Multiverse, Danny has access to the most unique primordial forces from his world, the same powers that Vlad uses (also explaining how he did really match him and Ben didn't).
At first, it seemed strange to me how powerful he was, I even wondered what would happen if Ben didn't have his master control, but this answer satisfies me.
And so, it's how you create someone who can truly rival or equal Ben even at his full potential and fail-safe. Ben is not invincible, we have seen him lose, but finally, Ben is in true danger, he really could DIE.
It also makes Danny, Vlad, and maybe other ghosts too become somewhat relevant in terms of power since now ghosts have an actual chance of hurting Ben’s mid to high tier aliens, also it explains why Ben was having such a hard time against Danny and Vlad

Interesting fact I noticed about Ecto-energy, it's not an immediate wild card. At least two Aliens have managed to interact with it in a positive way for Ben, such as preventing Danny from phasing through Ghostfreak (but of course, not preventing Vlad's shapeshifting) and that NRG can absorb it (at least, a non-lethal attack), I wonder what other interactions it will have with other forms or even with Kevin and Gwen.
As an aside, I understand that in Danny's universe there is technology that can control Ectoenergy, so again, it is not infallible, so there is a balance
Well, Tech has been shown to counter Mana in Ben 10 due to tech being, well, artificial and devoid of life, plus in a way, technology, especially the sci-fi variety, practically in it of themselves also don't have limits to their own evolution. I mean, we have literal bombs in Ben 10 that can create and destroy universes, plus a sword that can bend the very laws of nature so-
@@ManicFictionthe Omnitrix itself is an example of that, and it isn't even really a weapon. An actually combat-oriented version (more-so than just the ultimate function, i mean) would be just absurd.
This episode probably took me 40 minutes to get through because I couldn't stop rewinding to look more closely at things like certain quotes, subtle animations, transitions, line readings, etc. This episode was definitely a fantastic blend of all technical aspects. Not even any action and I think I can solidly say that this is my favorite episode!
With Eiding reprising as Max, I don't care what anyone says or thinks, THIS IS CANON TO ME!!
You know, if we're bringing back old CN and Nick shows with this crossover series I'd love to see Megas XLR show up. It never got a proper conclusion itself and it wouldn't be a bad fit I think.

Eon when he fought ben: GIVE THAT BACK 😭😭😭
This Eon is based around UAF Eon and RAT Eon, which are far more threatening than OV Eon (mostly UAF though, with a touch of RAT's better and cooler backstory and lore, as UAF Eon has him actually being quite powerful to the point of easily defeating Waybig and Ult. Swampfire whereas RAT Eon actually groans in pain from getting hit by a 10 year old child, though as an actual character and in backstory, RAT is better)
The dialogue between Eon and Vlad was really good. You understand the real reason why Eon recruited Vlad in the first place and you really have a sense of feeling that Eon and Vlad arent just one sided villains, they have personalities of their own and you know why they are doing what they are doing.
So many good moments in this one. I'll be honest, I thought a series like this was never going to be more than high effort fan service. But I'm so impressed with how the important elements of both shows are weaved together. The writing is really selling me as well. The dialogue between Eon and Vlad is my favorite part, but it was all great. I read the comic a lifetime ago but seeing it again like this is the best 10/10

11:00 When Ron explains ecto energy and the ghost zone it feels and is treated just like the Warp/Immaterium of 40k and I love it a realm that not even space magic like how a God race has DNA or beings of pure magical energy do the same is fascinating. If not even eon who seems to be as intelligent or more so than Azmuth doesn't know wtf is going on with ecto energy than who knows what it can do. The same as the necrons view the Warp in 40k, they have no idea even tough their tech uses shard of gods to power them.
I almost cried when I heard the origin story for it's hero time and HIS SPEECH HITS DIFFERENT!! as always just amazing work guys
This was great! Ben’s reasoning for not using alien x, hearing Paul Eiding again as Max and delivering a fantastic speech, the artwork, and so on and so forth. I also love you’ve done with ecto energy. Ghosts don’t have physical bodies so of course their powers wouldn’t be limited and continue grow
It' just keeps getting better and better. There's so much I loved about this episode; Grandpa Max's talk with Ben, Ben's talk with the others about Alien X, the reveal of Ecto energy's properties, the voice acting, editing and delivery. Man. It's just too good.
On top of that, the writing really reminds me of UAF (the good parts - Ben 10: Alien Force Season 1-2, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien (Ultimate Kevin Arc)).
Would it be too much to ask for more 20+ minute episodes? I feel like I'm watching Ben 10: Omniverse if they didn't mess with Ben's character and actually kept the core writers. An actual continuation of UAF.

Wow y'all actually got Paul Eiding for that amazing dialogue scene with Ben, that's so sick. Love his delivery, it really sounds like this scene could be in classic Ben 10 from over a decade ago, he nailed it. Crazy to think that Grandpa Max made me happy as a kid all those years ago and here we are, decades later, Paul Eiding still brings joy to us Ben 10 fans without breaking a sweat.
Love the way Pesky Dust looks and sounds, you guys really did this really unique and interesting but super underutilized alien justice.
Same thing for Alien X really, the visuals when he appears and the way Kevin, Rook and especially Ben talk about him really makes you feel his impact and importance.
The shot of Ben talking about how every Alien matters is beautiful, I've seen that image many times now and it never seizes to amaze, the amount of detail, all the aliens drawn by Kuro including many seen in 5YL and even the Blue Kuro Skull as a fun easter egg, awesome.
Ain't no way you actually included the Gen Rex Nanite sound effects hell yeah that's sick. That transformation scene in general looks so badass
And goddamn the scene between Eon and Vlad is perhaps my favourite in the entire series so far. The sound design, the music, the pacing, the visuals particularly when Eon explains String theory/the Multiverse through the beautiful paper-figurine-analogy, all of it is so rich in atmosphere and every word feels impactful, incredible scene.
Absolutely incredible episode, y'all really outdid yourselves. I already know next time is going to be absolutely insane. Even knowing already what happens, having read the comic, how all of that is going to be depicted in the motion comic...it can only be spectacular.
It is absolutely jaw dropping to hear the Max we know and love from our childhood again. I couldn't believe my ears. Thank you so much for this.
This series continues to blow me away. The emotional moments. The exchanges. The heroic entrances. The transformations and abilities. The plot!
I love that Kevin is taking both versions of his power in stride. And how novel of a concept that Ben gets a uniform mode, considering all the times his outfit got warped and changed to fit the transformation. And the generator Rex-style nano alien transformations! Epic. Mad props, Ink tank team.
Wow. This is amazing. 1) you have Paul Eiding voicing, Grandpa Max awesome. 2) the score is amazing. Absolutely amazing. 3) I saw the Omnitrix meme mode you may have cut it off slightly, but I could still see it. All around this is just amazing. I cannot wait for the next episodes.

That line alone is what got this episode to be my favorite out of the batch so far.
Good Lord. What wonderful writing! It puts a lot in perspective and recontextualizes the og show with Alien X in it. It is also a fantastic drawback to such immersable power, because ordinarily whenever a writer introduces a OP character that never uses their powers to their full potential, it comes across as bad writing. But not here. It makes perfect sense and I appreciate the effort put into why Ben won't use it, along with solid character work.

Ben's reasoning for not using Alien X is flawed but also makes sense. It's a slippery slope. I think what happened with Ascalon really scared Ben, because he was so tempted to become a god and is afraid that next time he won't be able to pull himself out.

I like that Ben has full mastery over the Omnitrix since he has master control. It shows that the feature isn't just mental transformations, but complete control over all the features available in the omnitrix.

I notice generator Rex nanites soundeffect in nano bens transformation, maybe it's coincidence but I don't think so, I also notice many more eastereggs and references more than in the webcomic. I have been following 5YL for 2 years now so it's really great to see how far it comes❤❤❤

This is the best episode so far, for a number of reasons. The philosophical chats from both sides, the character development, Eon's analogy of the Multiverse and the maps (my favorite, btw). But I think that we can all agree that the icing on the cake is that you got Paul Eiding to voice Grandpa Man once again. "You're only as good as the hero you think you are."
This show gets better and better.

OMG Peak has arrived this is so exciting I can’t believe it. Eon’s voice is so great it sounds soothing and menacing at the same time & the way he talks about Ben is so deep you can tell he means every single word. Danny and Rooks convo is also great I like those too interacting without Ben & how much Rook has learned from Ben. Danny’s voice when he’s talking about potentially losing Sam Tucker & his family almost made me tear up immediately especially with the music in the background,he’s been through so much in such little time. Glad u guys included the boy Pesky Dust he was really underutilized. The way Ben’s tone switches from joking around to dead serious when Alien X comes up is amazing u really feel the pressure & the visuals of X are mesmerizing.Eon’s explanation of ecto energy is really eye opening. Love the lore you gave to the phrase Hero Time it grown into so much more than just a cool catchphrase.Even when Grandpa’s not around he’s always being the GOAT of wisdom. Ben hyping up Danny right after to really shows his capabilities as a Commander & Hero. And a classic hero suit up scene love all the team’s battle uniforms. And the end pose that’s the money shot seeing all 4 of them ready for battle and all suited up gets me so hyped.Appreciate the nod to Gen Rex with Technus this battle is gonna be epic
The part about every alien in the watch really resonates with me. I always think of the omnitrix as a weapon, but that reminded me of how much more it really is. Ink Tank, you guys gave so much more meaning to the hero watch.
Exactly it was Noah's ark that's meant to keep peace a way in which everyone can relate to each other a way the universe can be united under a peacefull banner while retaining their individuality and ben is meant to be a shining example of the best of the best.
