It took guts to do what you did & bravery knowing that it might cause waves in the family but that they needed to pay for what they did to you & be behind bars so they can't hurt anyone else. I don't know if anyone else has told you but I'm so proud of you for doing the right thing not just for you but for others as well, who knows who else he may have harmed or could've harmed that didn't have the strength like you to speak up. Most abusers have multiple victims & you were their voice as well so if they haven't had the courage to thank you I will. I hope you're proud of yourself & if anyone gives you crap ask them why they want to side with someone who would do such a thing? It makes them just as bad as the abuser IMHO. Now that he's away & you are safe I hope you're able to finally really begin to heal. Sending you love 💕

Like I don’t think that something like that has ever crossed my mind ever. I don’t care how it it looks or the family dynamic, how could you possibly be cool with the grownup in that situation? I’m glad you’re cutting off the family who still betrays you. There is 0 justification for even being in contact with him at all, let alone welcoming him with open arms.

Such grimmyyyy people surrounding a little light beam trying to constantly muffle her light out. Your souls journey is crazy yo. Thank you for sharing Lex. I can say that now in my late 30’s, I’ve stopped showing up for ppl who haven’t showed up for me including Parents, siblings, extended family. Back in the day I’d feel heartbroken at the thought of not having them around. Now I have so much peace since I pick and choose how much of them I want in my life. You can love them at a distance. ❤

Girl Im learning now that my sympathy and empathy for my "friends" made me feel guilty and let them take advantage of me, where i was so loyal, they werent and id make excuses for them, ask myself what I did to deserve it and still try to make it right when I did nothing wrong. Its just I cant expect people to be like me, and unfortunately I HAVE to cut people of and hold my boundaries no matter what. Sometimes I try to help people even if it means hurting myself, making myself vulnerable or giving the little time or things I have and I am still learning they dont value me. And it hurts. And I try to convince myself they have their reasons but noone is gonna protect ne or put me first. I have to. And its sooo hard. But we are healing and I pray you continue to heal slowly and find your strength to do whatever it is you need to so you can love yourself and others HAVE to value you, when they no longer have you

this video really hit me hard with different aspects of life and certainly still experiencing the aftermath of my trauma. It sucks so much how retable you are but at the same time, I respect the vulnerability you allow all of us to see. your feeling and mental state at your minor age brings my inner child warmth in knowing that what I felt through those years was okie and was also shared. For the longest, I thought I was the only one who would understand that type of pain. but you proved me wrong and replaced it with comfort. I will forever thank you.

I have a giant hole where my heart and stomach fell in. I can't even swallow right now, I'm not crying but there is liquid falling from my eyes, I need to find someone that I don't have to be so proud around that will just let me tell them my secrets, the ones that I had no control over but had to keep quiet about, because of "family". I am 64 and it's eating me up inside, it's hard to keep the trauma buried just to keep others from facing the ugly truth. I wish I had your strength to say the "hidden" parts out loud before the guilty ones died. I am so proud of you, you rock and you are a superstar!!! I thank God for you. Alexis, i been watching you for so long and seeing your strength and listening to your life hurts my heart so much because i can relate so much. Especially with the toxic friendships, relationships. I’m actually in a toxic relationship right now about to be 3 years and i can’t let go of it. I can’t find the strength to do so because i feel there’s nothing else out there for me and i do probably deserve this from him.
