BRO!! thanks a lot for the explanation! just replaced the slave cylinder, and it looks like the slave cylinder gave out first before the master. the slave is the one that went leaky and sent dirt to the reservoir. both darn went caput at the same time! must be because of the really dirty fluid. bled it and topped with fresh fluid, still spongy. I'll get a repair kit for the master. hopefully it solves the issue.

I just had the clutch fall to the floor on a Citroen C Crosser. Before that, it did happen that I would sometimes jump into first and second gear with difficulty. I assume that the problem will be the second cylinder and not the main one. Unfortunately. And they say it's quite a big job, replace it 🤦‍♂️🥲

B - We had a 2.0T Genesis Coupe and the clutch got stuck to the floor. Fortunately, and unfortunately, it took the dealer so long to fix it that we get it at 1/10th of the price.. Keep us updated

Very informative, I am facing the following issue:
    1. When my Honda Civic Gen 8 2010, is cold and I press the clutch paddle and shift gear it is so difficult to shift. However once car gets warm/hot it becomes easier.
    2. I previously had a very good clutch pressure and pretty fine clutch release point. Recently I observed a minor leakage under the clutch paddle inside my car. Now it is a loose clutch which means that easily pressed and no more a fine clutch release point which means as soon as I tend to loosen my foot pressure on the clutch paddle it starts moving.
I am going to check the fluid and get Clutch master cylinder changed. So let's see what's my next comment here

My clutch became soft but raises back to normal position, i dont have any leaks but my fluid was low when i checked. Filled it up and no leaks still. When my clutch messed up it did do a loud pop. Ordered a new master this weekend. Any suggestions ?

J - It could be the master, but hard to tell without being there. Keep us updated.

My problem is that when I upshift, (lets say around 4000rpms) I press in the clutch and go to shift. It does not let me into the next gear until the rpms drop to at least 3000rpms. My car doesn't seem to have any issues when downshifting, however. Do you think either the master cylinder or slave could be the issue? The clutch pedal feels normal, and my slave was replaced about 40,000 miles ago. I brought this up to the mechanic once before, and he adjusted my clutch pedal and the issue went away. But after about 8 months now, the issue is back. Any thoughts?
