  • Saturday September 28 2013 at 2.34. The 9.30 Manchester to Carmarthen (14.51) train heading into Kidwelly station. The station is a request stop with 32 people using it on an average day which is 1 person in 100 as the population here is 3,289. One minute of the wait was cut out. Railtrack were going to make this a half barrier crossing by 2008 but they were abolished in 2002.

    Not necessarily Nathan, the line speed of the railway might play an issue why this can't be AHB...

    It is common sense to make it an AHB crossing when the crossing is on a dead-end road
