Love seeing my FLEX tools putting in work. My sister swears by her Milwaukee but after seeing and holding mine she wants me to bring it over to put it through some test. Cant wait to see her reaction
Dewalt has the speed, flex has the hard hits. Thats why dewalt leads, till mid-screw, the flex start to go faster. For small-medium fasteners, dewalt>flex, and vice versa for larger lags etc
Milwaukee had the most vibration, but it also had the best grip. They all got equally hot i think, maybe Dewalt slightly cooler than Milwaukee. The Flex is a beast, but the lighting sucks.
@@ChristianElectricianthanks for the reply brother. Im in the market for a new impact driver and hammer drill combo. Im on both dewalt and milwaukee platforms. Which combo would you recommend fkr daily jse and abuse remodeling work. Gen 4's ir 1007 / 860. Thank h in advance
@@247Combat for me the Dewalt PowerStack (PS) batteries are more practical. The 1.7 ah PS and the 5ah PS pair nicely with the DCF860/DCD1007. However, you can probably get a cheaper deal with Milwaukee, since it has been out longer. They both have a solid set, but you need the 6 ah Forge battery to compare with Dewalt. Can't go wrong with either!
Milwaukee releases new generation of top of the line drill and driver every 5 years, gen 3 was released on 2017, gen 4 was on 2022. so gen 5 might be on 2027. Gen 3 was unbeatable for almost 5 years by any other brands but the gen 4 is already beaten by flex just before it was launched in 2022.. i guess milwaukee is so focused in cutting the weight and size instead of adding more power.
@@jaival_rhaine yeah, the real competition is making a lighter tool with the same performance. not some heavy ass hammer like flex did. dewalt release their 1.7ah powerstack for that exact reason.
@@ChristianElectrician 100% agree with you. As I've seen over the years, drills absolutely destroy impacts. Just wanted to see how things are coming along with newest drills/impacts.
@@thalegacy6 check out tinker with tools. The new 1007 Hammer Drill does really well against all the top brands. 1 caveat is he uses an 8ah powerpack against the 6ah flex lithium stack and 6ah forge Milwaukee.
@ChristianElectrician I've read alot of comments on yt about the 5ah powerstacks failing. Part of the claim on why they're clearancing out at most places like h-depot. Even here I checked yesterday and 5ah are $75. The new xr 8ah powerpack tabless is my next purchase with the 1007 and I'll try to sell my 999 and a 5ah maybe to help justify the upgrade
Dewalt needs to make a 6ah Powerstack. The Powerstack is their strongest battery, it seems outside of the 9ah, and the 15ah ruclips.net/video/4Vag90QnEFc/видео.htmlsi=akl2xlVNmC6xZrS9
Thank you for doing these types of videos without the annoying/overly loud music in the background.

Thank you Tarin! I appreciate that very much. Grateful 🙏
Good stuff brother. Fair and as transparent as can be... keep up the great work.
Thank you Trae! I appreciate the feedback 🙏 😊

The flex has a lot of power
It sure does

The guy at work with the sockets heavy duty sockets from Snap-on and near work excellent, they're very heavy duty
Heck yeah, that's good stuff. I bought everything identical for this test.
We are definitely at the limit for 1/4 in impacts.
Innovation 💡
1/4 is 1/4 and with enough force, it Will break.
Maybe time to step up the size to 3/8 or something
@@ChristianElectrician
all work pretty good for us, we're trying to go with all one brand so we can interchange the batteries or different batteries or a pain in the ass
You can't go wrong with either brand, especially Dewalt or Milwaukee
@christian what tool got the hottest brother? Which tool felt the most comfortable less vibration?
Milwaukee had the most vibration, but it also had the best grip. They all got equally hot i think, maybe Dewalt slightly cooler than Milwaukee. The Flex is a beast, but the lighting sucks.

I have the flex never even use it, the thing is like using a sledgehammer for that reason it never sees the job site
It is pretty heavy, probably why it's so powerful. I don't really mind it.
If you're standing on a ladder and your Bolt breaks what are you gaining
That may happen from time to time, you mitigate with a pilot hole or some other way. That comment doesn't really apply to a brand of tool.
Put a 9 amp flexvolt battery on the DeWalt
I got like 3 or 4 9ah flexvolts. I'll make a video when I have some time. It doesn't make a difference.
I don’t think the forge has pouched cells right? They are just offset to fit more I believe.
nope, pouch cell for 6ah and tabless cylindrical cells for 8ah and 12ah
@@ChristianElectrician oh I didn’t know that. That’s good, I wonder why they didn’t use them in the 8 and 12🤔
@@Divici02623 safety hazard? I am not sure.

Use 8AH packs on all three next time that’d be a more scientific way to do it
This is scientifically the best battery technology they have for each flagship. Dewalt needs to make a 6ah Powerstack!

I hate flex’s light arrangement I wish it was halo/ring like on the new impact wrench
They 100% definitely need to upgrade that
Whyd you put a 5.0 ah on the dewalt and a 6.0 ah on the milwaukee amd flex?
Powerstack 5.0 has better performance than the flexvolt 6.0
That's the best lithium pouch cells each company provides.
