If they are Salafist or Sufis, what's up for you? Muslims have their own land and their own governance.they lived in peace and friendship in and outside their homeland in ages. Don't create problems, Just help them to settle their own development if they ask you.
Keep dreaming pal. The muslim world has always had tribal violence regardless of outside influence...... Is this Islamic religious utopia in the room with us right now?
Well there's this thing called concern for people's basic dignity and the dignity of women, homosexuals, minorities etc. "They lived in peace and friendship"? History is awash with bloodshed my man don't play dumb with niceties. The world isn't going to shut off its brain cause you throw out some wishy washy language which basically amounts to leave us alone let us be as bigoted as we want.
@@claydogg234 well west's attitude to Israel says otherwise. People are tired of the west's hypocrisy. This hypocritic liberal foreign policy wont work anymore. You can not convince you care about human rights while funding a genocidal racist supremacist regime, Israel.
But this is not only Muslim land, it's the land of the people that live them, and people are concerned will people be allowed to live as they chose with no harm to others.
Give a chance to Syrians who have suffered from dictator Assad for 13 years. Please do not dig into the life of Al-Jolani and his background. What is clear Al-Jolani has changed, admited his mistakes in past and decleared for peace and coexistence. Digging into his personal life and finding his connection with terrorist groups in past is something the Islamic Republic of Iran does. Give this country a chance for a fresh start to recover, considering the fact that over 200,000 innocent people lost their lives or missing under 13 years of Assad's rule. The Assad regime, Islamic Republic of Iran, Russia and the useless UN are responsible for these atrocities.
The fact that there are people in the comments here trying REAL hard to convince us to NOT want to look into the man, only makes me more curious. You people ever heard of the Streisand Effect? This man is not just some random guy on the street that we are all suddenly wondering about. He is a leader, once of just a group with mixed history and now a leader of a nation that stands at the crossroads of regional history in many ways. We all SHOULD be interested in this man and his past. It is easy for a man to say nice words, and even to seem to live by them when the stakes are relatively low and temporary. Now, we will see over the next several years and decades if he is actually a reformed man as he portrays, or if he will regress into old and familiar habits. I hope for the best, as I think most do, but hope is never an excuse for ignorance. And to those insisting that this is "meddling in other countries affairs" (as one particular comment worded it), don't be stupid. This is the global age, what happens in one nation effects us all. We are not isolated tribes, we are part of a collective whole now. So figure that out first. Then, more to the point, understand that a news agency asking questions is not "meddling", and thinking otherwise is the logic that leads to dictatorship. The role of the press, when it doesn't abandon this responsibility, is to be a voice to hold power to account. The day a mostly unknown rises to power and says sweet sounding things and DOESNT get challenged by the press, is a terrifying day indeed for freedom, liberty, justice, and humanity.
Everyone meddling in this guys a$$ and critiquing him as if the west is perfect, how about fixing the homelessness in American look at San Diego, LA, all the major cities have become slums filled with druggies, yet here we are "concerned" about this guy who just took out a dictator, wasn't that what the whole world wanted a few months ago.
From a dictatorship to a jihadiship? He is a criminal and must hold accountable for war crimes. Turkey and Qatar must pay severe price for the creation of this new Syria ISIS-Muslim brotherhood state. Who is going to protect all the minorities? Maybe it’s time for free independent Kurdistan and plenty of other free states.
We’ll see, will the leopard change his spots? The handshake refusal certainly indicates he’s not a secular reformer type of guy. My advice? Remain on alert, suspicious even….
First of all, the Baath party in general and the Assad regime in particular were secular reformers. They actively tried to remove religion from Syrian society and the results were predictably horrible. Second, secularists cause more death and destruction in the world than anyone else ever has. The reality is that as long as some outside power doesn't give weapons and intelligence support to yet another rogue officer or warlord... Syria will be fine. If there is another civil war an outside power will be the cause of it. Finally, why should he have to abandon his religion or cultural norms to please you and/or the West? If the West can't handle allowing Muslims to be free then Syria can join BRICS.
It’s a cultural difference. Not shaking a woman's hand is RESPECT towards a woman with putting your hand on your heart ❤! So not shaking her hand isn’t a sign of disrespect.
Currently it seems that Syria has a good leader, who really respects women, by not touching them. That is not culture but an order from God. And usually leaders like this will be very fair towards their people.
No straight arrow this one wolf in sheepskin is still a wolf don’t be mistaken😂😂😂😂Only time will tell if he really want to change from an extremist to a democrat. 🫣🫣🫣🫣

Regardless it's really hard to take the word of an Israeli for anything rn.
By that logic I should dismiss everything Levant Arabs ever say given the state of their countries vs Israel.
Pretty obvious its just one dictator for another. Some lives will improve most will not.
Why do u care, ur country is going down the toilet 🚽

Mind your own bussiness..
I think it’s cool that John Toturra gets to run his own country. It’s like Ronald Reagan or Don Trump
I pray he can repel Israel and regain Syrias lands.
Question arise by who? Syrians?
Why don’t talk about 50000 murder of Palestine 🇵🇸 people by Israel supported by USA government
Who? Where? Stop meddling in other countries affairs. More nonsense. Fix US America.
Now America in civil war, every where..😅😅
