Is today will's birthday?
You can tell the first officer just loves his job. Love his enthusiasm. Great video as always
The co - pilot is smooth . The captain as well. I watch a lot of these videos and these two maybe the best yet.
Throughout the years I have purchased and watched many JustPlanes videos and Air Canada pilots always are like this. Super professional.
Part of my always want to fly a plane. My old boss did it .. some day
One of the smoothest landings I've seen!
👍👨🏻✈️✈️
Like “butta”
I did not realise he had landed until the nose gear touched. Wow nicely done.
@@jimtalltheislandbrothers6639 same here how come the plane never roled over when it was turning?
that was "autoland". pilots just watch.
that was one of the best videos i've seen, great descriptions from the crew.
I always love to listen and watch as they go over everything because you learn what and how they do things. I enjoy the amount of information that was given by these pilots. Love meeting these pilots from Air Canada; great airline and great pilots. Awesome takeoff and landing that sounds amazing. Beautiful view outside these windows with an amazing view of the water, landscape, terrain, skies, and the night city view. I do like the faded double view of the same takeoff. I enjoy the different camera positions as well. I thought that the pilot at the end of this video and what he said about being a pilot was great. If you want to be a pilot, follow your dreams. I wish I had the money to be a pilot because I would love to be one, but that's okay because I'll enjoy being in the cabin. Awesome video, I love it.
Thank you very much Shannon
Don’t give up Shannon, even if you don’t have the money right now. Age is not a problem for being a pilot.
Follow your dreams!
@@castordj Thank you. I'll always keep on trying. :)
Vancouver really has a beautiful airport..grew up watching the planes fly in to Vancouver from our living room window..sure miss those days
Sitting on the grass watching them land really low right over you off Russ Baker Way 🙌🇨🇦 ...esp the 74s *sigh*
Yes very pretty there!
Thanks for the ride along.
You both are skilled and friendly.
God bless .
I live only a 10-15 minute drive south of YVR.
That was the smoothest touchdown ever. Great CRM in this video too.
Glad you enjoyed the video!
That was so good! Your professionalism and positive attitude shows well in a 30 minute video and anyone in your cabin is in excellent hands. I appreciate your profession for getting me to places safely since I first flew to Europe with my grandparents in 1972 when I was 9 years old. I have been hooked on aviation since.
Glad you enjoyed the video!
I know there's all sorts of pilots out there but the F/O had such a positive energy!
Best site out there for real cockpit action. Thanks so much for doing this!!
Agreed. Always look forward to their live streams.
Thank you so much Erick. Glad you enjoy our channel and you’re very welcome.
@@QwikAdDotCom thank you
@@justplanes I never get tired of watching these videos. Best way to spend extra time; period!
The video was a pleasure to watch. With two absolute professionals in a flight deck environment who observe a respectful and courteous workplace dynamic.
It's pretty amazing all the stuff and buttons they have to push 🙂
Outstanding video, the captain and the first officer were great dictating the flight plan into Vancouver. Kudos to Just Planes.
Thanks very much! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Man, paper approach plates, old school!
March 15, 2012 flight .. thought Flightaware had bad flight number info. Lol Great video though.. 👏👏🛫
Was thinking the exact same thing. This must be a very old flight.
I love Foreflight. Though I learned with the good old paper - never runs out of battery! ;-)
@@rtrooney yes old video. Old American Airlines livery
My dream and good work ❤
Good luck Malitha!
Just Planes, that’s a classic, thank you for re-uploading this episode, our industry is subject to one of its greatest challenges. This video brings up a bit of cheer; reminding us of the good times :)
Very welcome Christophe!
Absolute professionalism
What a smooth landing captain. Congrats
Fascinating!! Thanks to both of you and of course, Air Canada.
Glad you enjoyed the video Charles
Watching you fly over that coastline made me think of how far mankind has come since Captain James Cook sailed around that same coastline 242 years ago.
i wondered that too
Great job Air Canada! I love to lay on the beach on Oahu and watch the planes landing and departing. It seems like one every minute. Just like Las Vegas. There’s so many planes landing u can’t count them all! Another great video JP!
Thank you for the invitation to live chat u will have see how strong the electric internet connection due to all the storms and lots and lots of rain😀😀👍👍❤️❤️🌹🌹
The live chats are not live in the aircraft. The footage is months and years old.
😊 very welcome Annie
Probably one of the best, most informative and friendliest Pilot Eye video I have see yet! Thanks!
Nice video! I am going for my Instrument rating and appreciate seeing a complete briefing for an ILS approach! I also appreciate seeing the Flight Plan. I worked at Jepessen for a short while on the flight planning software. What you showed was exactly what I worked with to make sure the software was working correctly. I was amazed at all the parameters that go into creating the plan. I won't be looking for a job as a pilot because I am too old to get hired but not too old to enjoy flying a 172! Actually thinking of becoming CFI. Only way I will be able to afford to fly in retirement.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed the video and good luck with your rating!
Love the way you explain what you are doing. You are 2 impressive aviators. Thanks!
Loved to see this archaic Jeppesen chart folder, must be as old as the aircraft itself 😂
Miss working on the 67's at Pearson. Everything was within arms reach - air, water, GP, cargo bay door controls etc.
Wonderful instructional video for us sim pilots with the nav explanations and proceedures. Thanks men, your real pros and it's great to see your work. Safe travels.
Glad you liked it!
Great video editing showing the blend of two camera shots at 9.
Thank you David.
Clear veterans of the sky. Explanations cogent, take-off and landing seamless. Love our neighbors to the north!
One of the best Videos I have seen
Thank you for the beautiful red rose and beautiful message 😀👍🌹❤️✈️
Very much enjoy watching your channel this crew is one of my favourite one! This captain is awesome!
Fantastic landing ..amazing cockpit ..such an incredible video thanku so much love an god bless x
Glad you enjoyed the video Wendy. Thanks
@@justplanes my pleasure x
I did that many times. Now retired
I had the airport staff do a run down the runway before takeoff to ensure it was clear of animals
Take off time was 01:00 and there was no tower at that time of day
Retired odd -400
Great job!
Just love watching this especially when it is live. Thanks guys. Stay safe.
It’s not live, just live chat. The footages is months and years old.
Thank you very much Kimberly. While the premiere is live on you tube the actual flight isn’t. We wouldn’t be able to edit and switch in between 8 cameras and multiple audio channels while bringing it live from up there. Would be nice though but doubt that will ever happen.
Super smooth landing! Didn’t even shake!
Really awesome how they pilot these machines
Very informative & great cockpit team work
Well done Air Canada !
Glad you enjoyed the video and crew.
I miss those Maui layovers! This was back in 2012!
Did you left your personality there?
@@vickper7173
???
. Sometimes it pays to keep quiet.
Insane that this video is almost 9 years old! Really great to see!
9 years old? It says this premiered on February 2, 2021.
Wow. Great info about the flight. I love the details you guys give. So much more interesting....
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video!
the captain loos like the german tiger tank commander in Kelly's Heroes !
Very nice presentation and professionalism from the crew. The approach to Vancouver was vectored by my co-worker Steve and he saw the comment from the co-pilot about "really carving us in"! We use that phrase all the time in YVR approach now, whenever putting traffic in tight on final! These videos are great for controllers to see flight deck procedures, as we can't ride jump seat like we used to before 9/11.
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Must be fun spending hours with Mr. Personality in the left seat
LMAOOOOOOOO!!! FROM THE TIME I TUNED IN TO THIS VIDEO I KNEW THAT CAPTAIN WAS A WEIRDO. HE DOESNT HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR NOR TALKS MUCH.
Omg I'm lmaaoo
True 😂😂😂😂 best teacher
He wasn't that bad. He's friendly enough he's just wired to be the person he is, a bit quiet and maybe a bit shy but all professional!
He seemed fine to me
This was fantastic I really enjoyed the extra details of the flight plan that were shown.
Professional crew. Enjoyed flying along with you both. Safe journey.👍
I live in hawaii and I seen you guys depart at Kahului. Nice flight! Hope to see you guys at Honolulu this time lol!
Awesome job boys. I really enjoyed this flight considering I live near Vancouver and I love Hawaii. I cannot wait to fly one day. Working on my PPL as we speak!
Glad you enjoyed the video!
What a great video guys! It's amazing the prep needed from beginning to end of flight. I guess I'll dust off my old flight simulator and pretend I know what I'm doing. At least when I pretend, I get to sit in the left seat. Now what did I do with my 4 stripe epaulettes. haha....Aloha!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks very much!
I took my flying lessons out of HNL back in 1998. Use to fly over to Maui on occasion. Probably the best place to learn to fly, especially back then. When they slide you in between wide-bodies landing for your departure, it made you realise just how small that 152 can you were flying really was :-)
Nice to see you again Captain Craig. What you flying know? Glad you enjoyed Maui. Take care
Thank you very much for sharing ! From Paris, France
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Very nice! Thanks.
Best desription of flight notes ever. Great video guys.
I love on the FMS "RTE 1 Legs"... RTE 1 is a tv channel in Ireland ... can't wait to see their new show Legs...
I loved it when AC flew 767 to Hawaii (OGG and HNL) and also back in the day on to Sydney - that was a good ride ;)
What a delightful copilot😄
👍👍
JP......quality time.....beautiful! Makes me want to fly with this
Pilots! The total men in the cockpit.....so nice editing JP!
Compliments for this;) Lovely greetings....Betsy.
Thanks very much Betsy. Yes indeed always have had great crews during our 13 film shoots wirh Air Canada
@@justplanes.....Thanks JP! Your videos are always a pleasure to watch;) Have a good day.......Betsy.
SUCCESSFUL LANDING
Very much enjoyed video. from Melb Australia.
THanks very much! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Superimpose inside / outside of 2nd TO shot was fantastic. Please do more of these.
Glad you enjoyed that... we do it here and there... but as always some people like it and some don't so we try to give a variety...
👍What a sophisticated brains and confidence to control to fly and to land on a spot of runways a day or in night/ dark .
Fantastic Just Planes.. Good Job ..Great From Brazil....Yeahh..
Thanks very much Alexandre, glad you enjoyed it!
Very cool vid angle and superimposition during the takeoff. Don’t think I’ve seen that before. Excellent video overall.
Fantastic job by these Pilots. Great takeoff, flying and landing, and they handle all the flight details well. What puzzled me was what the First Officer asked on Final Approach. 32.54 He asked the Captain if they were clear to land AFTER they went into Final Approach WITH the flaps set, Gear down and less than 1000ft off the ground!! First time I’ve seen that.
I love to watch the checklists and briefings. Great vid! 😘🇨🇦
Glad you enjoyed the video Anne!
The handsome Pilot
Cracking crew! Great vid as usual.
Thank you very much!
Счастливого полёта! ✈️✈️✈️Hello 🤚
Hello :)
Hello 😉👍
Hawaii, land of surf..nice flight.
10 feet off the ground: "Are we cleared to land?" LOL
Very professional flying, perfect crew.
From: MARACAIBO, VENEZUELA
Glad you liked it Oswaldo. Thanks
Thanks guys, really enjoyed your video. Don’t accept the personality plus dig at capt-his job is to ensure the safety of the plane not crack jokes, flash jazz hands every minute.
glad you enjoyed the video!
Gostei mto aviação é maravilhosa adorei
well done. pleasure watching. thanks a lot !!!
Well come
767 ❤️
I agree. Great reliable airplane.
Boeing 767 is one of the best airplanes of all times
Great airplane for sure!
A highschool classmate of mine is an Air Canada 787 pilot; she's also married to a Canadian astronaut :)
Very professional crew.
REALLY NICE JOB.
thanks, Captain
Excellent video of plane
timex watch capitain ?
Love watching these video’s....thank you!
You’re very welcome Kaayla. Glad you enjoy them.
Great, thanks very much Kaayla
When the captain was operating the tiller, it would have been hilarious if you had put a big arrow pointing to the plastic cup and the word Scotch next to it.
The flight number, AC58 is now used for Toronto-Pearson to Doha route with a 787-9.
Oh interesting, thats a radical change :)
Hope they got to stay at my favorite Hotel ( an Outrigger ) on the beach, Nice beachside bar,( after a few Black Russians it is the BEST BAR on the beach ).... great evening moon ( at times ) in the east over Diamond Head, made this run for years LAX to HNL after I got out of the Navy, did it on my days off.................... great video again, thank you to the crew for filming this and J.P. YOU TOO ! I was stationed just off the end of the runway, Alpha Docks.
Thanks Robert. Glad you enjoyed the video!
I like 767 , best plane
Great video.
Thanks Steve. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Nice performance!
Thanks for visiting
great one guys
Great video
Thanks Paul. Glad you enjoyed the video!
are we clear to land??
Nice flightdeck environment chaps
Cap is drinking beer. )))
Finally, now I know why we "spelled out per verbatim the charts".. "Effective Date"!.. (THINGS YOU NEVER LEARNED IN FLIGHT SCHOOL) I never knew why, as no one ever had anything to cross check the date with...which made me think...why in hell do we brief the date..lol ! It's there to make sure we as a crew are on the same chart!... Simple as that!
