Hello! Sorry to bother you. I am from Taiwan. I was wondering if I could Translating the video to Mandarin. just for education .I will post on youtube and attach the original link! Thanks
This is such a great tutorial! I was wondering, in the tileset there are some diagonal "building" tiles, where the bottom part of the tile is divided in two, where half of it is transparent. Is there a way to put down a half/triangle of another tile down so my map doesn't have these weird gaps? Thank you once again for these tutorials! It's so fun messing around with the map making :]
I've done everything like in the video but when I try to "paint" from the palette, the sprites are way smaller than yours. Doesn't actually fill whole "one grid spot. Don't know what am I doing wrong. I would appreciate any help.
Press left click on project tab press import new asset then it will bring you to your file exploerer where you can import whatever image or model youd like
Hey, so basically I have been doing so far, but im up to a point where when i try to place a tile that has some transparent parts on a tile, the transparent parts overlay the tile below? is there a way to combat this?
quick question here, when i make my tile palette it doesnt organize itself to mirror the sliced image its just a huge list which is very disorienting any advice on how to get it where the tiles stay shaped like yours
okay i got that working right but still am having issues tried to take your advice and copy the images made with this tile map, but it doesnt work with the way the tiles are sliced some portions of this arent able to be replicated specifically where the bridges connect to the cloud is the issue im having theres a minor gap above the bridge so it doesnt go into the cloud seamlessly, is there a layering thing i should be aware of or do i have to slice the tiles into smaller tiles
Im sorry if this is a really silly question but my camera doesnt automatically snap to the grid like yours does. so you have any idea how id resolve that?
I want to draw my own tiles do I have to draw them like next to each other? Like the one your using or can I make them separately and if I can’t how do I put them together?

@@ByThePowerOGreyskul1 Go to the layer option and you then have to manually put in the number, so pavements would be 100 for example as you're never going to go behind them and a plant pot would be 99 because it sits on top. You'll need to select your pixels first though.
I cant figure out how to bring the file or files over to the folders in unity, and the one time i did i couldnt do the next few parts he was talking about can someone help me pls
I solved this issue, if anyone else has the same issue, it might be because you put the camera on the same plane as the tiles. You can solve it by setting the z-axis of the main camera to -1. Hope this help.
