I made a mistake at the start of the video where I made “wiggle” accidentally INTENSE! Now this was also interesting to have two intense infants. Due to their different quirks, “wiggle” ended up being more intense. I think this is because of their “snuggly sleeper” quirk which meant they always wanted to be held in order to sleep. In my own gameplay testing “wiggle” trait was also a nightmare baby, but this may have been due to the same quirk! I hope you enjoyed, and I’m sorry about that mistake 😭
I kinda love that two had the same trait. We ended up getting to see a live demonstration of the power of quirks. Turns out they do a lot, which I love! I am both excited for the update and a bit nervous about it. But no worries, Deli. Hope you’re doing well. ❤️
If anything the mistake made it more interesting! You got to show off how two babies with the same trait can be different especially since you weren’t expecting it 😂😂
Thats because James made the mistake of creating newborns first and trying to age them up, so they became infants/babies without all their needs met. Meanwhile Deli started fresh with all those babies with all green bars lol
The difference in chaos levels between this video and James’ video is absolutely delightful. James was in the trenches fighting for his life and Deli it’s just hanging out
It's interesting that Intense wasn't Intense but Wiggly who accidently was given the Intense trait was. Makes them feel like different Sims despite having the same trait.
Deli: *ignores calm through most of gameplay* Deli: Oh Calm was easy, they’ll be a happy infant, right? Poor ignored calm: ~had an unhappy start to life~ 😂
Deli & James chose chaos and went straight for the multiple infants challenge. I can NOT wait for you guys' playthrough, it's going to be such a wild ride and I also can't wait to see your kids interact with Sim-Bowser
@@terrianblack9450 I'm watching them one after the other too, so far I found James' to be the most chaotic Deli is a champ, she actually did really good lol
I'm actually really happy that we accidentally got to see two intense infants because it really showed the individuality that the Gurus were talking about in the gameplay livestream. With Wiggles being harder to care for than Intense....I'm honestly really looking forward to the expansion now the 16th can't get here fast enough 🥰
Honestly going to the bathroom with the baby was the most realistic thing I’ve seen a sim do 😂 Being a parent to infants and toddlers makes you do A LOT of uncomfy stuff
For. Real. Though. This is going to be so fun watching the simmers who are parents irl vs those who aren't reacting to things that are very much normal, but you don't know until you're a parent yourself!
Agreed. When my first kid needed food she was very impatient, no lie I breastfed her while taking a pee because she would *not* wait but my bladder couldn't wait either. With tiny-babies you're in survival mode, unless you have a calm unicorn baby (I did not, I had a dragon. Very intense) you have to do whatever keeps you and them alive, and if that means peeing while you hold them then Pfft! Do it. They won't care and your bladder will thank you. (I wonder if sims can get Nap-Trapped?)
Kyle peeing while holding a baby is super realistic. Lol. I’ve got 3 under 3 and I’ve held many babies while going to the bathroom. I’ve even had to take all 3 to the bathroom with me just to make sure they don’t die 🤣🤣
I think Wiggly was accidentally made intense when Deli was showing us in CAS? I haven't finished the video yet (so maybe Deli figures it out) but at 7:35 it has a message about Wiggly being intense.
I feel like the ones that got "unhappy" were because they didn't tell you as loudly about the needs so they didn't get met, vs the intense ones who were like FEED ME
@@KelsiShae I think this is because of the number of infants and the autonomy queue. At least in what I've seen so far, everyone is going straight for max infants which is overloading the poor adult sims, lol. It'll be interesting to see it in more "normal" gameplay, as fun as the chaos is.
I think the infant traits are based on milestones and relationships with caregivers. And like.. if babies don't get enough attention and their caregivers don't respond to their crying it can make them more likely to get the unhappy infant trait. Which is sort of how attachment styles work irl too. Fun how you can straight up traumatize your babies and cause them to have lifelong relationship issues lol.
Dance machine trait for parents shouldn't be overlooked going forward. Disco naps are a lifesaver! Super powerful. Yeah, it can cause bored moodlets and they do annoying wiggle dances between every action, but it's totally worth it.

Deli, when you in cas, i think you unintentionaly choose intense and forgot to choose wiggly again, thats why when aged up she is intense not wiggle. But it is also makin a poin that even when two babies have same trait they can be a bit different
i will say i like how it’s quite realistic. i have a 9 month old, and do you know how many times i had to hold my baby while i ran to the toilet bc i was busting? if you put them down they cry. you don’t get time for yourself, you’re constantly caring for the baby. i lost 10 pounds after i had him bc i wasn’t eating, i wasn’t getting any sleep, i could barely let myself go to the bathroom. but don’t get me wrong he’s worth it, and it does get easier after they get older and more independent! but the sims incorporated things you don’t expect to be a reality until you’ve been through it. i love that. and yes they seem a bit hard, but irl babies are hard! i’m interested to play with infants to explore all the things that are a reality that they’ve also included that we don’t see in this video.
I have an infant with the wiggle trait she has the same Hair and the same outfit but a Brown bear not a pink one, she needs so much to get her to sleep, and keep her happy, but she’s so sweet and hates being left by her mum, i had to keep cheating her mums needs 😂

My son, Landyn, was a Wiggly Infant....He was a lot of work but since I'm a single sim and he's an only child (for now) he grew up to have the Top Notch Infant trait~ I honestly think feeding the infants in the high chair is the best course of action, because they can find out what foods they want to eat and don't want to eat, and it's just a really cute interaction! Oh! Also, Landyn is a Science Baby I had with Lily Zhu, and he's a werewolf!!!! Soooo cuuuuute~

😂😂😂 why was Kyle going to the bathroom while holding baby so realistic… maybe not for Kyle but irl moms most definitely 😂 my daughter I had to baby wear her from moment we woke up until we went to bed, otherwise she would be so miserable and cry and cry and cry. I had to do everything with her attached to me from the day she was born until she was around 7-8 months, once she learned how to sit on her own and scoot she became much more easy going. While my son was always a man on a mission 😂 moment he learned how to crawl he wanted nothing to do with me 😂 he was busy exploring everything. I do miss those days so much tho. This baby update is amazing. So happy they didn’t make it easy, all the chaos and stress makes it so realistic ❤

To be fair to the Sim parents.... real parents have an even harder time figuring out what a baby needs at first. Eventually you learn the hungry cry vs the bored cry... or diaper cry... but even then sometimes you just have no idea what they are upset about. The bad part is why you THINK they are hungry... but they have gas and feeding them more just makes it worse.
As a mother of a child who never wanted to be put down as a baby - 100% can confirm, peeing while holding the kids happens. It’s necessary. Super realistic.

I don't know which traits I would play with babies, but I don't think I would have as many at the same time. This episode was very entertaining, thanks Deligracy.
I love you Deli! ❤ I loved your characters. They looked so cute in their outfits! I cannot wait to see what you do next with this pack. I’m excited to see the build mode stuff the most. I loved that squirrel picture on the wall. I want it in my game 😍 thank you for always being there to show us what’s new!!! 😊
Deli, The fun need is locked until you unlock it. It doesnt exist till then ❤️ loved the video!
I love it!!!! I can’t wait! I love babies and these seem to have a lot of cute realism!
